Hillary was incredibly kind and was able to accommodate us for a last-minute 90-minute couples massage. Our experience began on the beautiful patio, where we were offered drinks while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Sacramento River and the Sundial Bridge. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind before our treatments. The entire sanctuary was clean, peaceful, and welcoming. We were then brought into the lounge, where we were given spa slippers and relaxed with Red Light Infrared Therapy and vibrating foot massagers. After that, we were taken to the treatment room to try the HigherDOSE Sauna Blanket, which was a first for both of us. We later returned to the lounge for more Red Light Infrared Therapy and a refreshing cold-water foot bath to help cool down our feet and bodies. Our massages were wonderful. Hillary was my massage therapist, and Hailey took care of my mom. I especially appreciated how Hillary regularly checked to make sure the pressure was comfortable. She also included facial steaming, red light therapy, a light body scrub on my back, and sound therapy at the end. All these thoughtful extras made the experience feel much more special than a typical massage appointment. Rose Mountain Sanctuary offers many other unique wellness services, including Japanese scalp massage, holistic facials, somatic therapy, sound healing, and buccal massage. During our conversation, Hillary also mentioned that she is looking into offering hot yoga in the future, which I'm especially excited about because I enjoy hot yoga myself! You can truly see how much care and heart Hillary has put into creating this beautiful and relaxing space. She was so kind and welcoming throughout our visit. I sincerely hope Rose Mountain Sanctuary continues to grow and expand because Redding is fortunate to have a place like this.
