I love the yoga classes I've taken at Zen Lot. Jen is an excellent instructor, putting together smooth flows and accommodating a range of student levels. She's not pushing students into poses they're not ready for -- she's guiding us to the practice we need to grow and not hurt ourselves. I like the intimacy of the studio and one-on-one attention I get in the class. With a light touch, Jen can help me with awareness of body alignment or muscle activation (like my back leg in high lunge) in the poses. Jennifer is hands down the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I have gone to a number of other therapists in the past, including a membership as Massage Envy, and no therapist comes close to her skills. She pays close attention to your various aches and pains and is able to recognize what areas need more attention to relieve that stress/pain. Jennifer has a great style that is kind of a combination of Swedish and deep tissue - deep enough to get those knots out, but also really relaxing and warm. Jennifer also has a vast knowledge of homeopathic herbal medicines to help you not only with a sore muscle or two, but with overall wellness. Jennifer is highly trained and really knows her stuff. I have really bad pain in the shoulder areas underneath the scapula due to working on a computer all the time and she was able to really easy away the pain in the area under my left shoulder. She's professional and takes her time to get to know your problem areas and really suggest what is needed for better living. You can't just let anyone work on painful areas without a deft touch, who uses just the right amount of pressure and makes sure it's good for you before proceeding.
