This course encourages a straight shot, and nothing shot over the green. Better to come up a little short than a little long. The restaurant was serving great food. My wife had fish tacos and I had a hot pastrami sandwich. The service was superb and we found a nice relaxing ambiance with a choice of eating inside, or outside on a porch with beautiful scenery to enjoy.

The location has potential, but our stay was highly disappointing…read more First and foremost, the checkout policy requires guests to wash all dishes prior to checking out. This is a major sanitation concern. IF the property thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the kitchenware between stays, this chore is an unnecessary burden on paying guests. If they do not reclean them, then the health and safety of incoming guests relies entirely on the honor system and the cleaning habits of previous occupants. It is incredibly unsettling to think the dishes we used may not have been professionally washed or sanitized. The cabin itself clearly got a "landlord special" French doors were stuck and wouldnt open. Had to call maintenance to get them fixed. The refrigerator and cabinet drawers overlap so tightly that opening the fridge makes the drawers to open, and vice versa. The fridge door is already dented, clearly from this problem. The blinds are old, broken, and don't close all the way. So we had to wake up with the sun every morning, spiderwebs in the ceiling corners throughout the cabin. For the price charged to stay here, guests should at least be guaranteed professional cleanliness. Unfortunately, this property missed the mark on all counts.

I think you should offer golf cart transportation between the resort and the golf course. That would prevent a lot of people from taking the chance and driving that short distance while intoxicated. I noticed this first hand on several of our party goers. We had a beautiful cabin that was not on the lake, but close enough to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. I see a lot of reviews had a problem with cleanliness and honestly, we did walk in to a musty smelling cabin and dead, flying things all in the bathroom, but after doing a black light inspection of the mattress, I was reasonably assured that bedbugs would not be an issue. To me that's a big one. I highly recommend this location if you're planning a wedding at the golf course.

The grass can be inconsistent in length, and there are holes where the ground can get swampy or rock hard depending on the weather. The golf carts have maps & GPS. So that's awesome. Good driving range w $3 buckets. Clubhouse has a good beer & drink collection, good little kitchen. Lounge area & shop are good too. All around, if you just want an inexpensive place to hit the range or play a round, it's a good option. Especially considering it's one of 2 public courses in the county.

Don't use your driver if you're like me with absolutely no control over my directions or even the distance with the Driver. You can easily hit a parked car. This place is very friendly and only open for business during the Spring through the Fall season until the rainy season begins. Then you won't be allowed to visit period!!! At times they only open from Thursday through Sunday and not even until later in the morning. They don't have a deep fryer. No Hamburger or fries. They have a licensed liquor bar but very limited selection of hard liquor. They have decent beer selection to choose from. The course is easy and short. The grounds are getting better each time I visit. Great place to practice your short game but not a distance shots or hazards. You will definitely want to get nine holes while you're visiting here. The pasta was good as were the potatoes and green beans. I did not try the stuffed chicken breasts but the people around me seemed to enjoy them immensely. The course is fun but one guy working behind the counter is an ass. Place was super busy when my…read moregroup got there. Had a line of 3-4 people waiting to pay in front of us then my group of 5 to pay, when another group of 4 came in and the guy behind the counter decided to stop helping the people in line and help out the group that came in behind everyone. Once we finally got help from the guy behind the counter he would not let our group of 5 play together and split us into a 3 group and made 2 of us wait when our group of 5 could play faster than the group of 4 slow players in front of us. After we got done with hole 2 we shifted and played as a group of 5. My group seen and talked to the warden 3 different times why we played our game, he watched all 5 of us tee off and never said a thing. The warden on the course is chill but the guy working behind the counter has a power trip problem. After having that experience it make it harder to want to go back after that experience when there are so many other good courses to play around here that are not going to bitch about a group of 5 playing together. I played a group of 6 yesterday at Allen's Golf Course and they had no issues.
