We stopped at Super 1 Foods in Athol specifically for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. This location has a great salad bar along with rotating hot foods throughout the week. We happened to visit on Friday, which was their Asian-themed day, with orange chicken, garlic chicken, rice, lo mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, and several other options. Both the hot food and salad bar are sold by the pound, and there's a fountain drink machine along with a comfortable seating area where you can eat. My kids especially loved that they could get an ice cream cone for just 25 cents. We didn't really explore the grocery store itself, so this review is mostly about the prepared food area. The restroom was clean, and the lunch setup made for an easy, inexpensive stop. The only uncomfortable part of the visit had nothing to do with Super 1. Another customer was open carrying with a holster attached to very loose basketball shorts, and the firearm appeared poorly secured as he walked. Love this store. Food is always fresh, and employees are very helpful. And the ACE Hardware is the bonus.

Food court is filthy. Tables are sticky there is trash everywhere. Used to be nice and very clean, there was a level of pride.

What a great store. Wanted a bone in rib eye and no problem. Cut an inch and a half thick. Store well stocked and all employees wearing face mask due to covid. So clean and friendly staff. Even the store manager Randy personally spoke to us and asked if we found everything. This is the way a supermarket should be run. So impressed. read more

Wow! These people have knocked it out of the park! During this crazy time dealing with the Corona Virus, the employees and management at the Athol store have been incredible. They have to be exhausted and yet they still greet you with a friendly hello and a nice short conversation at the check stand. I stress the word," short" because I noticed they are working really fast to try to help us all social distance in the checkout line. Others are unpacking and re-stalking as fast as they can but still are happy to answer any question you may have. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you! read more

Wish I could give less than one star! We were not notified our order was ready. Online it still said processing. And 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, they are like since you're late do you want to get it tomorrow? No, or I would have chosen a pickup time tomorrow. I wasn't running late. I can read and tell time. Then when my husband picked it up they told him next time order it for the next time slot. How about next time let me know it's ready because several times they were more than a half hour late. Do disrespectful! read more

Love this place. It's very convenient here in Athol. Most employees are great but the reason I am giving it a 4 star is because of one particular cashier. I believe her name was Cheyenne, she was very rude for absolutely no reason. I've never had any other problem with any other employee before but she was quite the headache. She kept giving me dirty looks and was giving me a LOT of unnecessary attitude. Wont be back for a while. read more

Great staff, always helpful and friendly. I like the Ace Hardwear in the store, bought a bunch of wasp traps when every store in Sandpoint was sold out. Nice selection of wine for being out in the sticks. This store is so convienent right off 95N. After years of flying into Spokane then having to shop in Sandpoint for groceries this Super 1 is my God send. read more

I am very disappointed in this stores' management and face mask policy. I spent a lot of money in this store and last time I was there, which was about a month ago the person in the produce department was handling the produce without a mask or gloves. I brought it to a manager's attention and he just brushed me off. I will not be shopping there until COVID is under control. I do not care for the other store in our area but it is where I will have to do my shopping or go to Spokane. read more

My honest review, September 28th 2019. 6:50 PM. Me and my wife, went to super 1 in athol. Went to the deli because we wanted some food. We get there and ask this young lady named Taylor for 2 pizza sticks and a half pound of macaroni. Taylor then had attitude, no welcome or hi how you doing. absolutely none of that. She puts a pizza pocket in the bag, therefore my wife told her 2 pizza sticks not a pocket. Taylor then went ahead and said to my wife, hun you said pocket but ok. Fucking rude. Called up a store manager. Reported. Hoping Taylor in the deli, can step up her game quick, for that shitty attitude. Great store; manager took it good. The employee Taylor at deli needs to be fired. Soooooo happy to have a Super One here in Athol. It's got everything I want and the people that work there are super friendly and helpful. I eat Gluten Free and can find plenty of good GF options there. Also thankful to have Ace Hardware and Medicine Man right there! This convenience is wonderful!
