Yea I don't recommend staying. here first off we wanted a hotel with a pool to relax in we we first got there I noticed a pool closed paper on the door and I went and look at it closer the city shut them down and wouldn't let them use the pool that kinda sucked. We also did the check in online thing so we didn't have to deal with doing all the check in stuff so we paid to do it online dude still made us check in and waist our money doing it online. When we go to our room the tv didn't work at all so we had to wait a hour for them to get somone to fix it that also sucked. Overall this place is shit if ur just looking for a quick place to rest up on a long roadtrip I'd say it's worth it but for staying more then one night pay a little more and get a better hotel. Also staff was rude

The toilet seat looked "well used." Honestly, how much does a new toilet seat cost? $20? We paid $80 for the room.

Room was "no smoking" and reeked of smoke. Like someone had just smoked in there 1 hour before we walked in. The carpet was black from high traffic and sticky in some spots. We literally wore our shoes to walk to the restroom. The door closure device was broken and the door stayed open unless we actively pushed it closed. No continental breakfast was provided even though they said it would be when we checked in. The pool was drained "because of COVID" and mind you this was in June 2021. Not sure how COVID affects the pool when other hotels in town are offering a pool just fine. We are 15 months into the pandemic, but ok, closed for COVID, no problem. Lastly, and most importantly, there were a number of individuals loitering around, smoking out front and lingering in the lobby. The staffed seemed to know most of them and everyone seemed to know each other. They looked as if they were long-term residents. We think they were part of the local homeless population that was awaiting permanent placement for housing and were using the Super 8 for temporary housing. Probably explains why all the rooms here smell of smoke and body odor, and why all the rooms are pretty much destroyed. That is fine if you want to do that, but then don't list your hotel online to unsuspecting guests that are coming from out of town and pretend like it is a normal hotel with normal cleanliness standards. It was not a normal hotel experience, and for $82, it damn well should have been. We cancelled the second night immediately and went to a different hotel. We were there for a total of 7 hours. We felt like we got caught in some sort of trap set for out-of-town people who are not familiar with the local area and what happens there. If you get a room here, you will probably pay $83 to stay at a place that looks and smells like a homeless shelter. Best of luck.

    BED BUGS

Yes, that is a BED BUG in the photo. Wish I could give zero stars. I was too afraid to lift up the blankets to see if there were more bugs, one was enough for me and I was out of there. The cleaning staff this morning had a dog with them running around which would explain the wet dog stench. Pretty sure that's against health code. The pool is closed due to the health department enforcing it be, and I can see why. The mattresses stacked up are most likely also infested with bed bugs. The worst part of all of this was when I was leaving the bathroom this morning and the door handle came completely off, so I thought I had accepted my fate in the worlds most dirty hotel. A refund was refused. Health department, shut this place down, and people, don't risk your health or dignity staying here. The front desk man rolled his eyes when we asked him to come fix our TV, and I believe he was on drugs given his erratic behavior and vigorous itching.. then again it could be the bed bugs or dogs that they let roam around the hotel. They did not have bottled water available either. Oh and no refund issued.

    Moldy spots on bathroom ceiling...

The hotel was dirty, with moldy spots on the ceiling in the bathroom. After 3 days (no sign of housekeeping) and we told the front desk housekeeping skipped it again. We had to go to the front and exchange our own towels and insisted on a room cleaning. The room should have been cleaned every day but only once in the seven days. The room carpet is filthy and you don't want to stay here until they start cleaning better.

So..... We are from Southern California and we drove 18 hours for my sons graduation. I get to the front and the guy working the front desk I named Ron. He says to me, "Hotels.com overbooked us and they were supposed to send you a notice that you are being rebooked at another location". Well I didn't receive any notice from Hotel.com. Then he says, "You were one of the people they didn't contact. So we had our people fixing a room that was out of order throughout the day and we were hoping to have it complete before you came to check in. Should be ready in about 30 minutes". We get into our fixed room and we noticed a funny smell. Almost like a freshly cleaned bathroom at an amusement park or something lol! We didn't care. We were just happy to have a room. Well the next morning we go to use the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. I was still asleep but my wife noticed it. So she went down and talked to the manager Katie. When I woke up we had to move rooms. Ugh.... Oh well..... At least they had another room for us even though it was a pain. Our new room was much cleaner, had a microwave (the other one didn't) and just felt more comfortable. Why am I giving this place 5 stars? Because of Ron and Katie. They both handled the situation amazingly! The BEST customer service. Because of all our troubles our entire stay was comped. They both know how to treat paying customers. When you have impeccable customer service like this it often over shadows you may not like about the room itself. Because of them I'd absolutely stay here again. From the moment I walked into the lobby and found out Hotel.com overbooked them Ron was on it doing everything in his power to make sure we were taken care of. And the next day Katie (The Manager) did the same thing when our toilet didn't work. Bravo Zulu to this staff! Thank you both Ron and Katie for making what could of been a disaster into a pleasant stay!

We stayed here because it was the only place in Corvallis that had a room available with an indoor pool. We checked in and when I asked where the pool was, the guy at the desk pointed down the hall. Yes, it has a pool- but no water! Could've told me that when I booked or checked in. I asked, and I was lied to. The room was filthy and the street noise was constant sirens all night. We booked two nights and only stayed one! Terrible place- don't bother!

Wow, lots of reasons not to stay here. Pool and hot tub are drained and look to have been that way for a very long time., random junk fills the space. Funky, navy cigarette smell throughout the building. The view from my room over looking the river would have been nice, if not for the years worth of cobwebs. Elevator was broken, the lady checking us in said someone was supposed to be on their way to fix it,, but i see from a review two months ago it was broken at that time as well,, so guessing it hasn't been working for a long time. Several different groups of people are hanging around and look to be living there. Just a dingy overall feel to the place. Stay somewhere else...

The breakfast had many options to choose from including almond milk for the cereal. They also provide sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon and evening which is nice. Upon request you can have the ADA shower seat. Now for the not so great- the ADA room we had seemed pretty worn down from the mattress that had no support and creaked, to the broken outlet on the wall, broken ADA shower floor, toilet that flushed twice every time you flushed and used SO MUCH WATER, the bathroom sink counter that sounded like any pressure on it would cause it to fall off the wall, super outdated old fabric couch, carpet that desperately needs to be replaced, plus no recycling seen anywhere in the hotel. Also the bench for luggage was placed right where someone navigating thru the room would be hitting it so we moved the bench to reveal the broken outlet cover. The first night it sounded like a herd of elephants were staying above us for many hours at bedtime. Of the three nights the last two were the Friday and Saturday of OSU's family weekend so price gouging was happening. $151.38 for Thursday night but $359.19 for the next two nights was crazy for the issues with the room we had. It's unfortunate because the employees were nothing but kind and helpful, but I do not see us staying here again for the price we paid compared to the accommodations we had. From reviews it seems like possibly certain rooms have been renovated while others are in desperate need of being overhauled.

The beds were comfy. My issue was the heat- we keep our heat at 61F at home and ended up turning it off the second night because it already was pretty warm and actually opened the window along with having the heat off for nice fresh air. We didn't have service for our room after the first day but that was completely fine since we were reusing towels from showers and didn't need our bed made up. The breakfast had many offerings- different bread products, cereals with milk and almond milk, oatmeal, waffles, canned and fresh fruit, hot items including eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls, tortillas, cheese. My wish for the Best Western is to become more eco friendly- recycling in the rooms and public areas as well as composting in the breakfast area. We also REALLY appreciated the Tesla destination chargers for guests as we used them both days with an adapter for our Kia. One thing that did weird me out were the one way mirrors so we asked for blankets to cover them up. The bathroom mirror was a normal mirror. Also the guest above us the second night sounded like elephants around 6:30am, otherwise we didn't have any noise issues during our two night stay. We would stay here agin if we are in town.

My wife knows I like quirky lodgings, and she said, "I think I found you one." Sure enough. Hotel Corvallis is a mid-century motel, tastefully-remodeled travel hotel, with upscale fixtures and, literally, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. So good that I took a photo of the label. We are buying that same mattress. The rooms have been redone and are spotless, quiet and comfortable. (Did I mention the bed?) No coffee, fridge or microwave, but free coffee at the coffee trailer, and a voucher for a free breakfast at the adjoining diner. (Only the breakfast is free there. Coffee costs you five bucks! But the breakfast is good, unlike most motel fodder.) Incredibly quiet, even though it's located on busy 4th Street, in a spotty area of town. No noise, even when a busload of track students came in. Zero noise. None. Summary: You won't get a better deal in a more convenient location, and if you like fun, clean and quirky, it's your place. The staff are, as advertised, very polite and helpful. I am back in Corvallis next month, and I will be staying at the Hotel Corvallis.
