The pool is super nice and heated, sadly the hot tub was out of service during our stay due to the part it needed to be fixed being on a National back order, so I know it's not the hotels fault and understand that. The showers run very hot and cozy, the lobby area has a very comfortable "homey" feeling including a gorgeous fireplace, desks available for guests to work at as well as a computer available in the lobby for guests. Another nice touch is that this location offers a VPN protected network for their guests which is a really nice touch as cyber security is always a concern especially while traveling! Also the complimentary breakfast is 6-10am which is nice for those who prefer sleeping in a bit! The balconies are furnished with chairs and a table. Breakfast is very good and the foods are kept hot and fresh. The area is clean and well organized. Employees are extremely friendly and helpful. My friend made the mistake of putting the $50 hold on her credit card. When I tried to check out at 6 AM (friend was sleeping), I wasn't able to pay for her room because of this $50 charge on her card. What?? The early morning clerk was a young lady with no knowledge and no power. She offered to call her manager but at 6 AM that seemed like a bad idea. I knocked on my friend's door but she was still sleeping. So for this little simple thing, we were very inconvenienced and it took me too long to get going on the road. I just opened my credit card bill two weeks later to find that $50 security charge on my card still there. I had to call this morning and they told me they didn't know anything about it. They removed it, they said but I don't see it. They advised me to call my bank. Sure, I should spend a long time on the phone because on their policies? No, thanks. I don't know if I would stay here again. I don't want to have to go through all the hassles and phone calls to pay. Seems as though the company could simplify this somehow.
