We had a large room, but the hotel seems dirty and needed repairs. The mini fridge still had the plastic film half on the doors, and it did not keep things cold. No elevator for luggage though we only had a half flight up to our 2nd floor room. Anyone with health issues would have a problem getting to their room. We did love Midge the manager. She was fun to talk to, very friendly, and helpful. Expedia messed up our reservations, as they had for (3) other properties we thought we had booked. Midge helped get us with our reservations. Despite having booked a room with a King bed, our reservation switched to a Queen. Upon check in, which was difficult due to the employees language barrier, we were told this hotel ONLY had Queen beds and if we wanted to upgrade we could upgrade to two Queen beds instead of one. The room was not good. There was a dirty recliner chair. An extension cord hung mid air to accommodate the refrigerator, microwave, tv & coffee maker into one of the few electrical outlets. The shower head was old and slammed water into the tub so loudly you couldn't hear the tv over the shower. Water was barely lukewarm. This was the only hotel in the area that accepted pets on our needed date. We knew a Super 8 wouldn't be GREAT, but this was ridiculous. read more

Rooms are not clean at all. Sheet rock splitting coming down. Went out and got Clorox bleach wipes counters in room where dirty top of fridge and micro wave dirty. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. People sleeping in front office in recliner came in and out 3 times never moved at all. Doors missing in hallway ac heater unit dirty. I don't think anything has been cleaned same with bathroom had to tighten bathtub faucet so it wouldn't leak... At least the sheets and bath towels smelled bleach clean read more

Look, y'all, I was tired & forgot to pull up YELP last night... I know, I know. I can only say with a 1.9 rating on here, that I'm glad I didn't pull it up until this morning (also, you're getting after pictures cuz your new - woohoo - 2025 Montana Hops Passport State Champs didn't take arrival pics either... oops.) Let's start with the negatives- no elevators & that means you are either going down a few stairs for floor 1, or up stairs for floors 2 or 3, from the check-in desk. If you can't do stairs, this may not be the place for you. OR - be sure to get floor 1, use the ramp to the check-in desk, then back out and ground floor back door to get in - but it's a no-access from outside door, so, someone will hafta open it/ hold it. And the odor - which is NOT a cleanliness issue... yes, there's an earthy scent throughout that is definitely not patchouli - similar to the old dirt basements, possibly a mold/mildew, tis true - and the carpet had some wear spots but was overall ok (room 118) Water pressure was great, as was the temp at the sink, the shower antiscald kept it too cold for us, tho tolerable for a quick shower, oddly, more-so on the showervsetting... the bath spout was warmer. The bathroom vanity/sunk was dated, one might even say retro because it was in EXCELLENT shape (& that style is highly sought after). There was a full recliner, desk, microwave, mini fridge & the a/c worked great. We slept well & the bed was clean. (I'm NEVER too tired to check for mattress cleanliness or signs of bedbugs, ever). Ours was a Queen tub/shower room. On to breakfast... which visit always the same, yet somehow different. THIS is what had me plop down to start pecking out this review. My love of sanitation is going to outpace my saving the environment here, sorry for my hypocrisy. I've seen some NASTY things over the last few days with these included breakfasts, buffet-style/ continental & there's a reason I avoid this style of eating. These guys have found a solution! Yes, a way to keep everything sanitary & still readily available, a way to maintain safe food temps. Crackpots with liners were used for things like potatoes & gravy, while biscuits & other breads/baked goods were individually bagged in a case. Juices were 100% juice & also individual containers. While I typically get on my soap box about single use containers, the reduced food waste, infestation prevention, avoidance of cross-contamination & even ease of clean-up for the staff. Oh - and REAL toilet paper!! None of that single ply!! Our room was clean. The staff were friendly. We paid -$100, which is less than any other room this trip. read more

Check-in was last minute. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and efficient. Room was clean, quiet and affordable. Second day, Emily was managing the front desk, and some unexpected issues came up with my travel plans. Emily was kind and considerate and informative about inquiries I was making regarding travel options from Havre to outside locations. She was professional, considerate and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job of maintaining a clean environment. This hotel offers good standard accommodations with breakfast options in a small, friendly town. read more

I have never been treated as poorly by anyone in the customer service industry as I was by Angel, one of the managers. There was a miscommunication and my room was cancelled, she refused to refund my money or rebook my room. read more

Day 4 of cross country trip: This is by no means a fancy motel but for the price we were VERY pleased ($73 for a room for 2). The hotel was pet friendly, lovely staff, coin fed laundry facilities and clean! They also provided a good breakfast. Scrambled egg scramble was very good as well as waffles, cereal and apples. I would stay here again. When we went to breakfast we saw the housekeepers at work with their disinfecting spray as well other cleaning products. Those women work hard so if you stay here please be sure to tip them generously. COVID compliant yes with the exception of wearing masks which appears to be the trend in MT, ID and OR. read more

I would never use this hotel ever again! Disgusting! The night clerk put us on the 3rd floor. No biggie even tho we are 63. But we are heading to North Dakota for work and had huge suitcases. Still no problem we will use the elevator. NO ELEVATOR my husband asked why did you put Us on the 3rd floor without an elevator knowing our luggage was huge. Her reply was you Didn't ask The whole time she Checked us in she was coughing non stop. Then we finally make It to our room and there are stains all over the carpet. They have bed bugs and roaches I am covered head to toe in bites woke up turned the light on and their was several of them running down the sheets and the people from around here told me they don't even wash their bedding or even sometimes don't change the sheets. read more

Clean and comfortable! The night shift gal was sweet, morning shift not so much. She just didn't speak unless spoken to. Breakfast selection was standard fair but the facilities were very clean. Pet fee is outrageous at 20 she did drop it to ten since it wasn't mentioned when I booked. read more

Horrible! Front desk clerk was eating from a bowl of food as she was checking me in and not friendly at all. Flooring is horrible throughout the entire hotel. Walked into our room and the main light did not work, then my husband sat down on the bed to turn on the tv and it would not turn on at all even from the unit. My son went to use the restroom and openEd the toilet seat to a completely clogged and disgusting mess. I went down to complain and the clerk did move me to another room. New room was fine just very dingy. Would not recommend this hotel! read more

Stay away....nose bleed drops on pillow and menstruation blood in sheets.....They appeared to be washed and smelled a faint hint of laundry detergent but use some BLEACH already or get an eye exam. So many other issues with bathroom and carpet. ( don't wear socks, they will be brownish black walking from bathroom past the TV) This entire town is questionable, and stay away from Glacier and Browning Montana as well....So Sad, Over priced, they are trying hard to be a nice Hampton and charge the same price but not happening. No breakfast we were made aware of and just over all annoyed with no other choices. HAPPY to leave in the morning. read more

When checking in I forgot my wallet at the front desk. After parking the car and coming back by the desk the clerk asked if I had left my wallet. I picked up my wallet, thanked him and returned to my room. I then checked my wallet to find $140 missing out of it. I went back to the front desk and told the clerk about the missing money. He said he worked two full time jobs and didn't take my money. He told me to talk to the manager in the morning and that they had cameras everywhere. In the morning I explained what happened to the assistant manager. She was thoroughly unsympathetic and told me that they in fact do not have any surveillance cameras. My wife then returned to try to gain more information from the assistant manager, such as the regional or district managers phone number. She was informed that the hotel was independently owned and operated and therefor there was no outside higher up manager to speak to, but that she could take a business card and call the manager tomorrow. There was no apology, no trying to amend the situation, no sympathy even. Just incredulous looks and suspicious statements of surveillance that didn't exist. So incredibly frustrated and out $140.00.
