I am currently staying at the SUPER 8 Hotel in Richfield, Utah. The staff are what makes this hotel GREAT . The staff make this Hotel 5 star. The guy at the front desk, Danny Chauhari is SUPER NICE and accommodating. The hotel may not be 5 star as far as looks, but it is CLEAN and COMFY and NO BEDBUGS and it appears to be in a SAFE location. The carpet is a little dated but the hotel has all the basics. The staff are AMAZING . From check-in to the ladies who clean the rooms. If you want to stay at a Hotel that makes you feel WELCOME, and is affordable, this is it. I stayed at the beginning of April while on a road trip, called in to reserve a room and got there at 1am. At no point during the phone call, check in, or check out was I informed of a "premium rate". I was given no receipt. Super 8 is ripping me off by blindsiding me with a mediocre room for over$250! When I call, they say they are "processing a refund but it can take a few days" but it's been a month now. They will no longer reply to emails and will not call me back. Shameful swindling by this location. I would have kept driving if they had told me at any point it would be that expensive. read more

While driving to Colorado, we stopped for the night at the Super 8 in Richfield. The room was clean, except for one bedspread, and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because even though the property is smoke free, our room and the hallways smelled like stale smoke. read more

Stayed here for the 2nd time in the last couple of months. We have a home in Cali and Colorado so there are times we need to travel to/from more often than usual. The reason for the review is due to how clean the rooms are. We stay in a pet friendly room since we have a dog. The room is not the most up to date but it was fresh, clean and had a nice hot shower. Much appreciated after driving 9 hours. Breakfast is very basic. Had yogurt, apple/peanut butter and coffee. No eggs, bacon or sausage. They did have a waffle maker which people seemed to be enjoying. Now for the cost. Holiday Inn was $180 w/additional pet fee per night. Which is down the road. The fee charged with our AAA membership came to $70. Personally, for a night stay it is definitely worth it. No dog park but our boxer didn't seem to care;) Highly recommend! Yes, the staff is friendly but not gushing over the guest so don't expect back flips. read more

The motel was full. The reservation person referred my 92 year old mother to a different motel. After specific questions regarding location, safety and cleanliness, we paid for a non-refundable reservation. Upon arrival, we learned the new motel was definitely NOT what we needed. We learned the motel we reserved was a temporary housing for homeless persons. When I tried calling the number on the emailed receipt to rectify the problem, I got a pre-recorded ad for a life alert necklace with NO option for reservation customer service. More like 3.5 stars. OK for a one night stay. A bit dated but was clean and relatively quiet. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked. Check-in was expedient. Didn't try the continental breakfast (the smell of blueberry muffins or something wafting down the hall was very overpowering). Pizza buffet place next door was good. read more

Don't believe the price online because after you go to pay it added a fee that almost made it comparable to other hotels. Which we would of stayed but we were in a pinch and need stop on out long trip. Customer service was terrible and rude. Room was poorly kept and looked to barely be cleaned. The entire motel smelled like a stale fart. Super late when we got in and no other places had a room. Here comes the worst part, un the morning as we were getting ready my kid saw two roaches climbing on the wall behind the TV. My wife was able to get a picture of one before they both ran behind the back of the TV console. When I brought this to the attention of management they basically played it off and did not believe me. Then I showed them the picture and they were still rude. They said they we would have to go through the third party company. So DONT stay here!!!! read more

Decent basic motel. Clean rooms, comfy beds, effective air conditioning window units. Good value and pet friendly.

We drove from southern cali to go camping at castle rock cg but it was raining and we got soaked wet. Googled n found this place at$65a night. Any cheap hotel is better than the best camp ground so we came. The motel is old and u can smell it for the first min or so when u enter but it is cozy and very quiet. Its our first time in richfield but its a very quiet n pretty here. Fresh crisp air... The room has a microwave and refigerator n cable. They also offer free wifi (and really strong signal to my surprise) and free breakfast (Ill check it out in 6 hrs). Hot water good water pressure. I cant complain for the price and sure beats to b camping in the rain. Overall satisfied ish although nothing notably stands out. read more

This was one of the cleanest hotel/motels I've stayed in. I was pleasantly surprised! very nice room. comfortable and had everything I needed. The family who run the place is very nice and hospitable. The breakfast was perfect and the breakfast area was exceptionally clean and stocked well. Don't hesitate. This is a great place to stay for a single night. The things I want most in a hotel are a hot bath and strong WiFi. This place has both. The bathroom and tub are much nicer than your average roadside hotel. The room is nice too. The WiFi fills all three arcs on my phone. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The woman on the phone got me a reservation while I was in the parking lot because it was a better rate than a walk in. The bill was about $65 after taxes. If you are passing through Utah and need a place to stay the night this place is both cheap and comfy. read more

The Indian manager working at this location is very rude. Be careful standing in front of him if he needs to get somewhere, he'll just push you out of the way. No excuse me, no sorry. Rooms are in pretty poor shape, stains on the sofa and bed. No conditioner for your hair. No elevator, expect to have to haul your luggage up the stairs to your room. No, they won't switch you to a first floor room, so don't bother asking. Breakfast is a joke, your pick of toast, muffins and cereal. Wifi works and is fast enough to check email. Stay here if you're desperate. read more

Clean, fresh and most importantly, everyone there made us feel like family. The owners are very friendly and always asking if they could do anything else for us. I'll definitely stay there again. It is a Super 8, so basic amenities, but had a fridge and microwave in the room. Since there is no hot tub or pool we ended up at mystic hot springs in neighboring town Monroe, which was also awesome. I'd rather venture out like that than sit in a hotel hot tub any day, so we didn't miss that at all. Overall a great value Update: still my go to hotel in Richfield but don't let them put you in room 102. It is next to the ice machine and the laundry room. It is very loud at early morning hours. I sleep with earplugs and was still awakened earlier than I wanted. read more

Stayed here while on business before making a move to Richfield. I received a 25% discount for a 2-night stay which was a great deal for a motel. It looked like they had updated their rooms recently (complete with outlet USB chargers and accent wall/painting. See photo attached) Room only came with 2 small pillows but after calling the front desk they delivered more to our room immediately. Linens, carpet, and furniture were all neat and clean. They cleaned our room promptly and efficiently while we were out. The front desk associates had thick accents but spoke English fluently and were professional. They referred us to some people to talk to about finding homes as well. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast, sorry! Honestly, I didn't expect much with a Super 8, but I was happily surprised with the improvements they made at this one. read more

Abosolutly fabulous!!! You really get your $$'s worth! Great mixed use lobby nicely decorated, clean, and fresh looking. I am the first to complain and I'm also the first to compliment when a service is Outstanding!!!! Modernized and attractive, loved and well-kept by staff, lots of amenities and a better than most places, Breakfast!!!! Very impressed with the value. I look forward to staying here again, and there are few places I feel this way about and travel extensively with a small bank account. 930pm check-in. Clean room and pretty cozy. It was an in and out staying. Great for a highway rest stay. Price was great for the level of comfort. Just sat down for the continental breakfast. Light but has a waffle maker, coffee is good, orange and apple juice, oatmeal, and toaster stuff. Front desk guy was very friendly when we wished him a good morning. Morning view is amazing, we love the mountains. Convenient Arby's next door and a resteraunt as well. We did not visit either. read more

Pros: Clean Room Updated Bathroom. A little bit small, but not too bad. Newer AC Units Great Location. Right next to the Freeway (hwy 70). Fridge and Microwave Cons: Non-smoking room smelled like cigarette?!?!? Bath Towels where cheap and old Wifi needs work. They have two signals, but only one works. The top floor can be barely hold a connection. Overall, not a bad place to crash for the night after driving several hours. read more

We stayed here on the way to Aspen from Las Vegas and just needed somewhere clean and safe and that's what this place is. It's nothing special but it does the job. The aircon wasn't very cool though and the front desk guy in the morning could be a little friendlier but considering the price, this place is pretty good. Also, located across the street from a Flying J...very convenient for getting some quick food items and gas. Cons: Bed that comfortable and the bath towels were really cheap. What a nice surprise! Checked in a 2AM, but the night clerk was ready, kind and professional. Parking right in from of my room. Room is modern, spotless, smoke-free, beds are luxurious and well appointed with coffee, fridge, blow dryer, toiletries. For $68! Highly recommended! read more

Clean, courteous and affordable. They have it so you can access your room both from the outside and the hallway which is great for the cold weather. The breakfast is a tad skimpy. But for 50 bucks a night not worth worrying about. Honestly it's more a four and a half. read more

This place was good for the value, we booked through Expedia. The room had a weird smell, like wet dog, but they do allow pets so that could explain it! My missing star is because of this, we put essential oils on a wash cloth and put it over the Ac/heater to help dissipate the smell. The breakfast was as expected, but free so no complaints. I knew what I was getting in to for the price. Rooms and linens were clean. Hallways were a little stinky. Breakfast was light but nice for a cheap room. There are many better rooms in the area but if you just need a place to crash for a cheap price this is fine. Pros - Cheap, restaurant and fast food (Arby's and Subway) very close, breakfast Cons - cheap pillows, loud heater, only visible outlet is in bathroom. I booked in advance because they're right off the freeway. 2 stars because the shower was hot. So was the room and the lobby and the "breakfast" area. I passed on breakfast to go find coffee somewhere, wish me luck. Absolutely NOT enough parking spaces. Everything was full and I had to park away from my room. This didn't fix the problem, and pretty sure was same person we talked to in morning during check out. His response in person was "oh well" after this review and contact with Corp office this is his new answer. This is closed, but we will not be changing our minds at this point. It's cheap and right on the the interstate. The rooms were decently clean and there was plently of hot water. The bed could have used a couple more pillows, but that's no deal breaker. There is an Arbys and Subway in walking distance as well as gas stations adjacent to the motel. In general for the price you pay, it's tolerable. read more

Stopped by with the family for a nightter. I wish I could give this place a good rating but too many thing we're wrong. The frig didn't work. Our food spoiled. The a/c didn't work right. The hot water was shut off at 9:30 am. Check out is 11 am. Internet was shut off at 9:00 pm. The continental breakfast cereal was stale. The outlet covers were broken. As we were leaving, the door was locked. The manager was waiting for us by the door to get our key. As we went outside, he locked the door. read more

Cheaper than other motels in richfield and it's closest to the highway exit, and interior/beds were actually quite decent. The hotel is nice and so is the family that runs hotel. Clean rooms, flat screens etc. all good. Except the wifi. I specifically said I need a good wifi signal tonight for work. She reassured me they have high speed wifi just like the sign outside says. I tried 3 different devices and every time the wifi would boot me off after 20 min, then has trouble logging back in. I asked the front desk twice about it they said "you have to type on the wifi password" clearly a language barrier. The issues with the wifi continued all night. With no signal here either I would have been better off sleeping in the car. False advertisement. CHANGE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR WIFI....IT DOES NOT WORK MORE THAN 15-20 min read more
