Super clean, new, quiet, no weird smells, super comfortable beds and sheets, comfy desk chair of pleather which can be easily wiped of previous humans, TV has HBO and all basic channels, wifi fast, bathroom large and well lit and mirrored with huge counter space, kitchenette looks tiny but the fridge is much larger than usual that I fit 3 days worth of meals in there and it wasn't anywhere near full. Coffee machine was simple to run water through to clean before my use, super quick Keurig. They had paper plates, bowls, forks, coffee and plastic cups and even one large glass covered microwave dish for reheating food. I appreciate the large mirror, hooks and wall shelf at entrance and the huge closet and room safe. There is a black out shade and also a sheer shade which are far better than smelly drapes. All staff I came in contact with was helpful, polite and friendly. It's not very far from MOA and I noticed a shuttle at the front so I assume they even do airport pick ups, but didn't use so cannot confirm. There is a small amount of road noise but it's more of a quiet din. I did not use the pool, hot tub or work out room but they look fabulous. Each floor has a laundry room with counter operated machines if you need clean clothes and of course and in room ironing board and iron whoch easily pulls down from a slim cabinet. Obviously I highly endorse here if in the metro area.

Imagine my surprise then when at 8am (seriously, who starts housekeeping this early?!) housekeeping entered my room by disengaging the security latch. Wouldn't this be a clue that someone would be in the room, potentially asleep or in the shower unable to hear the knocking? This is infuriating and incredibly unsafe. Once the door opened and the security latch had caught, I was awake. No one called out "hello? Housekeeping" They just proceeded to disengage and walk in. Clean hotel. Would not stay again

We all know you're coming here for the pool or for the track!…read more It's not a bad place BUT there are lots that need to better. In my opinion it's 2 stars because you're paying 126$ a night. So it's hard to expect a lot. The pool with the slide is the main attraction! It's great for kids. Lots of fun for kids 2 and under with the little kiddy pool and small slide. And a 4year old and love the big slide. Lots of places to sit and for adults there is a big hot tub. Down sides are: You have to use the phone and call for towels in the pool. Botha days there was zero sitting out. We have to ask for a shower curtain because they forgot to put one in! There is poor ventilation in the bathroom so there was lots of black mold and the tub was full of stains. The beds were fine and the tv selection is weak and could be better. Overall you're coming here for a reason. So the pool is worth 125$.

My family and I stayed here five hours too long on the night of November 7, 2025. I am familiar…read morewith Shakopee and found this to typically be an average, yet solid/reliable choice. While my s/o and I were getting ready for bed, I saw something scurry across it. I swore it was a tick, so I alarmed him and we checked it out. There was not just one. Not two. Not three. I could keep going. Not four (that would have been a treat) but WELL over 20 bed bugs between the two queen beds. They were crawling out from the pillow cases and back in when we tried to obliterate them. I have a three year old and four year old ALREADY asleep in one of these infested beds. My s/o said we had to leave and I agreed, as I was killing these things like a in video game. He went to the front desk to complain, to which he was greeted by two staff members - denying our photos were taken at this location of this hotel, right then and there, as they just replaced all mattresses. The sheets in our photos were not theirs and the bugs were not bed bugs. He eventually made it back up to the room, nearly fuming at this point. I had gotten the kids up and we started packing our things. We decided to strip the beds and that is where the meatiest, juiciest, and I mean I didn't even know bed bugs could get this big, fat nest of where they were hiding. The variation in size of these things is unsettling at the least. Fresh new baby ones, so small almost the bare eyeball can't see it, to looking similar to a box elder bug. These bugs are eating dang good and they've been there for quite some time, clearly. I was upset. My kids were sleeping in that bed. I rolled up the sheet and walked downstairs. I said "this absolutely is your bed sheet" and started unraveling it. Met with doubt, they asked "well can we see one". Right at the end of the balled up fitted sheet, there were at least six. They stared, grabbed it and said - "we are gonna take this, call pest control, and you can get a refund but we have no available rooms for the night so you have to check out". Not once was there an apology, not once did we feel like our experience was heard without having to prove ourselves. On top of that, when we got home (1am) according to our research, we had to go through the whole process of stripping our clothes, sealing every item in a bag to isolate it, wash completely separate on specific cycles/reps, wash the living daylights out of our scalp and bodies. Prior to this event, the towels ran completely out and there was well over five families in the space. The towel area stayed empty for over an hour. And our bedsheets prior to climbing in the bed had blood splats on them - later connected the dots that when bed bugs get squashed and they're as fat as these ones were, they splat a lot of blood - also which the staff completely denied. So this all adds up. Lousy customer service. Lousy cleanliness. Lousy every literal basic thing. Whether the sheets were clean, the mattresses are new, or the pictures weren't from their hotel (see attached photos), regardless this is unacceptable and there is no excuse that is a good enough one.

The customer service at check in was lackluster, but I gave the employee a bit of a hard time and he cracked a smile, telling me it was his Friday-- all good! The room was nice. Double queen, a single chair, plug ins for all different charger types in several spots throughout the room, Keurig coffee maker and a mini fridge in room. My two slight "complaints"-- the A/C blew straight out into nothingness (I don't understand why they don't direct them INTO the main space of the room, at the beds) and the shower water didn't get very hot (maybe most people don't like to turn red when they shower?‍) neither of which were earth shattering or made my time any worse. Oh, and the pillows-- weirdly airy, hard to get comfortable on, but better than flat lumpy pillows! Can't make everyone happy The casino itself was very nice, all non smoking which I appreciate so much! A lot of slot options, table games (can't talk much in those as I don't play), self serve beverage stations located all over. There IS a smoking room in the middle area of the casino for those who don't want to go outside. There are also several food options. Caribou Coffee was my stop each morning (Mint Condition!). There was an ice cream and dessert place called Sweet Temptations (didn't get a chance to try it), a cafe as well as some sit down restaurants and more fast food type offerings around the back. Also looked like there is a sports bar getting ready to open. The hotel also provides shuttle service to and from several places in the area throughout the day such as Mall of America. That was a nice option for my husband who joined me but was not part of the conference. As for our event, I can only assume that the buffets and food that we had were catered by the property... most of it was pretty unimpressive and flavorless. I don't want to dwell on that too much, though, for this review. Overall, if I am ever back in that area, I would visit again.

The female manager at this location lacks the skill set it takes to manage and deal with people.
