My experience at this Hilton was terrible. The hotel doesn't even look like a Hilton. The flowers…read moreat the hotel entrance were plastic and looked like they were from Easter. The only good thing, that happened to us was the receptionist, Keira. She was professional. And... on a separate note, I hope Hilton appreciates her and gives her opportunities. It's rare these days to find people who are so eager to work and help customers. The accessible room was a disaster, especially the bed. It didn't have the required 24-inch height for a person with a disability; it was only 12 inches high and of very poor quality. Breakfast was served through a nearby restaurant. The restaurant required guests to purchase the full breakfast menu to receive service. Guests couldn't just order a piece of toast and a cup of coffee like at other Hiltons. This proves once again that I'm right--read my review of Wyndham. Companies like this and others don't care about the customer; they care about how much money they make at the end of the month, and if a customer is denied a piece of toast, they don't care. There are people who can't or don't want to eat an full American breakfast. Do you understand? But no, they don't care, and on top of that, they let themselves be pushed around--or not--by a restaurant that's just a drop in the bucket compared to the Hilton's market share. But it doesn't matter; bottom line: money, and let the customer suffer. It was a disaster and poor taste.

I called the hotel and talked to a manager and she refunded my 7 extra nights but was not able to explain why the extra charges occurred. I didn't think much of it and was just happy my card got refunded. 2 weeks later I had $844 charged to my credit card and called again to inquire about it. The front desk person couldn't look into it but said the manager Gina would look into it for me and return my call. She never returned my calls. I called back 2 days later and the same front desk person answered and remembered me and said Gina would be in at 3pm and also gave me her email address. I asked the front desk person to have Gina call me back when she came to work for the day. I also composed an email to her detailing my issues with my confirmation number and asking her for a call back. My email and calls were never returned. I called back 2 days later and a different guy said he could look into it and said he saw a lot of strange charges but didn't understand them. He said he would get with his manager and call me back later that night. He never called back. I called back again and he said it would have to wait for Gina to call me back. I asked for a copy of the charges to emailed to me and he said he would. He never did. I called today to talk to the GM Brad, the front desk person said he was in but not in his office and offered to send me to his voicemail. I was then transferred to his voicemail and it was full and not able to accept new voicemails. I tried calling the front desk back, but the phone rang for 2 minutes and then hung up on me, I tried again and the same thing happened. I waited 10 minutes and tried calling again, but it still rang for 2 minutes and then hung up on me. At this time the issue is still unresolved.

The food tables wouldn't have been a mess and all the options on the menu would have been available. I bet there may have even been plates! Guys. What on earth? This is a special day and you have been doing this for years! What food there was, was alright. But we couldn't have soup because the heat turned off and it was thick and congealed, we couldn't have a crepe because no one was refilling the whip cream. We couldn't have smoked salmon because there was none. We couldn't have steak because they ran out but left the sign. We could barely have sliced prime rib.. it frequently ran out and when the last one came out it was very rare.. lemonade and tea were not mixed appropriately. Completely laughable. No servers came by to take our drink order. Big opportunity missed. Servers were everywhere but apparently not running the dish washer, and also they were taking our food plates without asking if that person was finished. People! You were open until 2pm. What on earth are you trying to pull here. At 12:45 the soup and crepes were done for. The meat selections were out. What exactly was worth $34.99? We tried this brunch ten years ago and were disappointed. Thought we would try it again. We will never be back.

Treat tray was empty and she didn't mention the "park your car around the back" sign( early phone call the next morning). Room was nicely decorated BUT didn't appreciate the flaky black pieces in the white comforter. The 5 small black pieces of hair( hubster is bald, Ian am long haired brown) on the bathroom floor AND the two globs of toothpaste dried in the sink I guess the housekeeper was tired.

We had an incident with our toddler getting sick and needed to use their laundry facility- only problem was that most of the places close were closed due to the time but they also didn't have any soap??? Said something about their usual vendor usually supplies them but didn't bring them any this time around? I know the launder the sheets/towels/etc I was confused that I couldn't purchase any soap whatsoever so that we could clean my toddlers blanket. So we inquired about their dry cleaning but the girl wasn't sure and said we would have to wait until the manager came in the morning to answer that question. We usually keep to ourselves and never need assistance but the one time we do no one was really able to help us. Ended up driving to the family we were visiting to use their washer instead. Defeats the whole purpose of advertising that residents can use the guest laundry facility. Also breakfast was eh. Always good with the standard waffles and breads. Eggs were not real (or at least didn't seem to be) and pretty scarce. Never any fruit or meats available even as early as 7am. No room service but they do have a snack area where they sell overpriced bags of chips and water etc. Next time we know to take our chances and try another place.

I dont know any part of perfect it was for us listening to it run all night, yuck I even took the lid off the toilet at one point to try and get it to stop. Also check out the plastic closure on the bottom side of lid. And the pictures I am attaching are nasty, the film in the handicapped bathroom and you need to use a transportable shower bench, problem is, my fiancé could not take a shower unless he sat on the stupid shower bench as the shower wand would only mount so high up the bar, impossible to stand and shower, very odd. Breakfast was fair, not enough tables/chairs for the guests. Film in the hot tub was pretty sketchy also, tried not to look at it while we were enjoying the heat of the hot tub. Liked that there was a pizza place attached to the hotel, but we went in after concert to get a pizza as we were told they take last orders at 10:30 and close at 11:00 we walked in at 10:10 and the bartender told us he was just about to lock the hotel entrance. But it was only 10:10. Felt a little like we were in the twilight zone staying here. Bed was fair appeared clean but in major need of updates and an elevator even though we were in handicap room on main floor never heard of hotel without elevator. Will stay somewhere else next trip to St Cloud. Wish I would have taken more pictures but was there to enjoy a concert was trying not to be negative but this was not worth a $100.00 stay!

Stayed here for a weekend away with my girls. Hotel is…read morecentrally located with easy access to food and shopping. Room was decent sized and included a fridge, microwave and hair dryer in the bathroom. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The wall heating unit/fan/AC is probably my biggest complaint, it was very loud and woke us several times throughout the night with its cycling on and off. Also made tv watching difficult due to needing to have the tv volume loud. Cleanliness of room was fair - there was hair behind the bathroom door and the tub had a fixed non-slip pad on the bottom that looked stained/dirty. Bottom of tub felt spongey while standing in the shower. Plenty of hot water and towels. There are plenty of vending options on first floor along with ice machine. I bought a candy bar and was charged $1 extra to my card ($2.65 total), the $1 was credited back on my card 24 hours later. I noticed there is a washer/dryer near the vending area for guest use - a nice perk for those who may need it. Hotel was fairly quiet without a lot of hallway noise or slamming/clicking doors. The pool area is nice with a small pool, a hot tub, shower area, and a billiards table. However, the bottom of the pool looked dirty so we did not use it. Unsure if it was old paint or mildew. The hot tub looked clean, but the state of the pool made us question whether the hot tub was actually clean. We didn't use this area. It could be that the pool needs fresh paint or a good scrub; I believe either (or both) would go a long way. Nobody was in the pool area when we were in there - 7pm on a Saturday night. Staff was friendly and attentive during our entire stay. Breakfast included a surprising variety of options to appeal to many diets. My vegan daughter was even able to eat breakfast - something we didn't expect! She had an English muffin w peanut butter, an orange, and avocado toast! I checked out 24 hours ago and the incidental charge placed on my credit card at check-in has not been refunded yet, I mention this because I know it can be an issue for some travelers. In summary, it was a decent place to stay but could be better with a few minor improvements. The gold was the wonderful staff - hold on to them!!
