I am a self proclaimed hotel snob! This was one of the only hotels in Washington MO. The rooms look good on the website so I reluctantly picked this hotel. Because it was in the wyndham suite of hotels I knew it had to meet a certain criteria! I was pleasantly surprised, the staff was so accommodating. The rooms and hotel was clean and neat. I made this reservation and then had an accident and am in a wheelchair temporarily. When I called to ask for a wheelchair accessible room, I was told they only had 1 room and it was booked BUT they'd get me a room on the first floor bc they didn't have an elevator! The room was comfortable enough, but VERY dated. read more

We stayed 4 days, I will Not recommend or stay if this establishment ever again. Breakfast was a typical waffles in cereal, Why we were outside smoking a cigarette?As we did the whole time , we were here , somebody was in our room and went through our purses. I don't stayed at a lot of motels in my time and I have never , ever experienced anything like this, And again , I will never stay here or recommend this place again read more

Nice light breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff. However, no elevator to get to upper floor. Website doesn't indicate no elevator so you can request a 1st floor room. For 75+ y/o people, carrying luggage up stairs is difficult. read more

I would give this "hotel" a zero if I could but it doesn't allow me to. I got married at my farm this past weekend and had to give my guests options on where to stay. It was either Washington or Warrenton as I am located directly in between. I called and set up a block of 10 rooms. The day the rooms were to be released back to the public was on 9/15. That evening around 7pm my sisters called to book their rooms. The evening front desk girl had ZERO idea what they were talking about as they explained there was a block of rooms under my name. This girl took credit card and personal info and booked three rooms. Day of my wedding no one could find my sister's reservations. The hotel called me and stated some guests were very upset bc they waited until the last minute to book these rooms and nothing was available... I didn't know who they were talking about my sisters and assumed it was other guests. My sister then informed it was them and I knew they booked their rooms bc I was on the phone with the hotel at the same time. Come to find out they booked the reservations at a completely different location and refuse to give the money back to either of my sisters. Stated they had to file a fraud report and dispute it with their banks. The manager and front desk people are extremely rude as well. Stay away. read more

Checked in within the early morning hours and thankfully they had a room available. The night desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The bed was pretty comfortable and it was clean. The AC never did actually get cold. The breakfast wasn't much. The milk was luke warm. The front desk attendant didn't want to get up and get any fresh milk because the breakfast was ending in 10 minutes. She did finally get up and get some as some other people went up and requested it too. All in all the breakfast needs some improvements, AC needs work, and a little tweaking on 1 staff member, but other then that it's not a bad place to stay. read more

We were in need of a place to crash while driving cross country. The plan was to camp but after giving it a shot and being covered in 4 inches of sweat and watching my dog hyperventilate we hit the road. Many hotels were full. I called late at night, thinking it would take an hour to get there, but the GPS thankfully was confused and it took us about a half an hour. Check in was smooth, and the room was very clean and comfortable. To a couple of sleep deprived individuals the bed was a cloud (it really was comfortable!) The only negatives was the pipes were a little noisy (could hear the shower/water running from another room) and the room we got only had one bed (probably because we got it so last minute). I will definitely stay here again the next time we are driving cross country. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room is. how many restaurants are nearby and how easy it was to get to the fairgrounds from here. The reason they don't get 5 stars: no elevator. so if you are using a cane or anything else make sure you tell them you must have a floor level room. They are pet friendly and they do have smoking and non-smoking. Their breakfast is basically waffles or cereal I've seen better I've seen worse.. I find the Bed abit soft but definitely get extra pillows. As the set that was on my bed were pretty flat. The extra set was fluffy.. They do have a cable type service and there are sensors on the TV and that will tell you what room you are in. A little bit weird but I guess it's alright. One thing I wish all Hotel type places would do is tell you who is your service provider it would make it a lot easier to find it on the TVguide.com. Normally I think of Super 8's as overpriced flop houses for hobos to wash their balls and shoot meth, but this one was really pretty nice. Clean, basic, and well taken care of plus cable tv that actually featured more than just basic. Don't usually see that too often in the cheapies. Only problem was I booked through expedia and upon arrival they had no notice of my reservation. Not sure who dropped the ball on that one, but they had room. Only real oddity in this place is the second floor with no elevator. So not exactly handicap accessible. read more

Great place clean and quiet, breakfast ready by 5:30am good and hot friendly staff and willing to do anything you need

Pros: + Pet friendly. The only place in Washington that would take our 60lb dog. + Complimentary lobby perks: coffee, breakfast, popcorn, cookies. + Prices cannot be beat. We got a room for $100/night when EVERYTHING else in Washington was booked solid. + Friendly staff. Had the dog out for a few potty runs while housekeeping was in the hallways, and they were very friendly to both of us. The front desk was wonderful. + Maybe we just lucked out, but I hardly heard any noise from other guests. It seems like the building has pretty good insulation. Cons: + Breakfast ends at 9am. A bit early, in my opinion. + There were two shower head settings: jet stream and mist. I couldn't find a strong water pressure without feeling like I was being pelted by bullets. + I think they still have smoking rooms? Even in a nonsmoking room I could kind of smell cigarette smoke. I don't know if this was from smoking rooms or just from very smelly guests in the hallways... If I'm ever in Washington overnight, I would absolutely stay here again. read more

Friendly check in. Rate was definitely too high for this type of low end hotel, but we were tired and just wanted a room. The room itself was okay, sufficient but nothing out of the ordinary. The room had the usual small amenities like free Wi Fi, in-room safe, ironing board, desk, cable, lounge chair, etc. The bathroom looked newly updated but they forgot to finish installing the fixture on the sink so I basically could have torn it off with my bare hands just turning the tap. Shoddy. There were some nicer details to distinguish this place from its low end cousins like Motel 6 - new paint, lots of lamps, really nice down alternative comforter and high thread count sheets. The bed was very comfortable. Really could have used a couple more pillows in the room, personally, and while I probably sound picky I'm generally easy to please. Their continental breakfast is served in a large room with lots of tables so I had hopes for it being decent but nah. Nasty-smelling waffle mix, a few light yogurts and the usual cookies and other carbs. No fruit or eggs and the coffee had run out & a fresh pot hadn't brewed (this was at 8 am on a Friday morning) so we headed up the road. As I said, sufficient & comfy but overpriced. read more

Our stay was good and the staff was friendly, however there was a problem with the carpets. You could tell the carpets had been cleaned recently as they were still wet our entire stay, the room smelled of mildew because of this. Everything appeared clean but not being able to be barefoot or put my baby down on the floor was an issue. read more
