The Duck Farm is also available for gathering, receptions, birthdays, spiritual retreats, etc. We celebrated my mother's 88th Birthday in the main house and then decided to stay in the Bed and Breakfast. This was one of the best decisions of our entire trip. Next time we're in the Raywood/Liberty area will certainly be staying at the Duck Farm.

New park management! I lived at Forest Retreat for 3 years,…read morefor the most part I had a good experience, great neighbors, and the park management kept the park clean and maintained. The new park management are a husband and wife team. Nepotism never works within any industry. I had a run in with the park manager named Mark, after seeing my dog playing with my neighbors dog he approached me and asked me to keep my dog on a leash, it's the rule so I did, while speaking with my neighbor with my dog on a leash he walked up to us and asked me if I was going "to comply" I didn't answer bc his approach was too aggressive, he didn't like that so raised his voice and again asked if I would comply, I just looked over at my neighbor, Mark said "don't look at him, do you comply"? I got up and left without saying anything. It was a weird confrontation. Next Mark stalked me in his golf cart, video taped me, then followed me back to my spot, when I was about to enter my Rv I turned and noticed him parked in my driveway video taping me again. I gave my 30 day notice bc I will not be intimidated, stalked and harassed by a little man who doesn't possess the temperament to be a park manager. If you complain to the front office, you complain to his wife, so there is no accountability for the lack of action to this matter, so there will never be consequences for such egregious behavior. The park has gone down hill, and occupancy has gone down since this duo arrived. If you plans to stay long term, think twice, there are many RV parks in that vicinity.

Noise from all areas. I get the nearby stadium loudspeaker, the rodeo park at end of road with Fast and Furious cars all night, and late night loud music from bar across the back pond but when it's all day from someone in the park and just disrespectful and rude and nothing is done about it but they tell you they're working on it so you continue to pay monthly that's wrong. Worse when it's a grown older adult causing the issue. And the If you're not in the low paying clique and you're paying for the most expensive spot losing you is ok compared to clique. Do your research. Lots of parks in the area. I have pics of grass uncut and mattresses laying outside for days but will have to find review site that allows photos. Hope this helps someone. Oh and don't expect any electricity refund soon after leaving. A nearby park gave us same day we left but here we are still waiting for our refund from Forest Retreat.

I go at 6:30 to do loads of laundry because I have my grand daughter. There was another man doing his laundry as well. My baby is laughing and dancing to Rachel when this big black haired man who I have never seen before and mind you my husband and I have enjoyed this place for over a year. We are never late on any payments we never have company or take company swimming. We power wash our rv when asked. So how should I handle this big black haired man who is staggering around the place griping really loudly. He approaches me and says the place closes at 9 and how dare I still be there. Mind you last I heard the place was open all night. It always has been but either way I can smell the alcohol reaking from his breath and he's talking to me like he would his girlfriend he was verbally assaulting. He talked so ugly that he had my baby crying. I had to leave the place with wet clothes that now stink and 2 ladies approached me and helped me because I was shaking so bad. I suffer from ctptsd and im shaking now writing this. He was so scary and volatile. Should I have called the police. I dont want to move but this man who I dont know cant go around treating women like garbage and scaring babies. And make up my mind on when your open because we need restrooms and showers at night as well.

All the sites are paved and you have plenty of room. We like the pool and hot tub and the kids liked the clubhouse. They have a nice playground and horseshoes pits. Now for the bad, there are no heaters in the bathhouse which names taking a shower at 48 degrees really fun. I had issues pulling into my spot because a resident likes to park in the road. After that, I noticed the park didn't like to enforce its own rules. Definitely units over 10 years old that look bad, lots of junk or "stuff" stored outside the units and then people parking in the road all day. We didn't have to deal with the noisy neighbor. We did hear the cart racing, but it was during the day so not an issue for us.
