The prices are insane and apparently they change through the week like Friday to Sunday is totally different than the rest of the week 100$ for a family of 5 just to get a couple plates of sushi. Customer service was horrible, they didn't answer our questions, touching my baby's face when told her not to, and the are charging a huge amount of taxes, they were treating us horrible, when we asked a question they didn't answer and ignored us. Food was ok. But they need better preparation it was full of grease. The Ambiance was horrible because of the waiter treating us bad. My mother in law is allergic to fish and she didn't eat anything like that but still she had an allergic reaction to something, they probably didn't clean the utensils and put it somewhere else. And all of the food containers were plump full (3 other places I've gone to in Fargo recently barely had 1/4 of the pans full of food). The place was very clean and had a nice, quiet atmosphere. I have tried many different buffets of this nature all over the state. There are always a few goods and bads to each place. This time however, it was different. My fiance and I were here for the first time Friday. Just walking in I was impressed with how nice it was and the immediate attention from the friendly staff. We were seated quickly, now onto the food. I can't even explain well enough how absolutely AMAZING the food was. Where to start? The mouth watering peanut butter chicken, the yummyy sweet and sour chicken?How about those delicious dumplings, the cream cheese wontons with their creamy interior and light yet crispy outside. I've been here several times, none have been anything I'd write home about. The food is alright, even if the chicken can be gristly at times. Today, however... I showed up and sat down with a plate of food at 7:30...just in time to be told they were closing at 8. Excuse me? This is something you couldn't have mentioned when I walked in? When I go to a buffet by myself, I bring a book and usually spend a couple hours. If you're gonna close a full hour before your advertised time, tell people BEFORE they sit down. The only upside was the server was very kind and was always nearby and ready to help. Pleasantly surprised at a $6.99 buffet (M-Th weekdays). The selection for the price isn't bad. The food varies - there are sesame balls (my favorite, but not done well), a Mongolian grill (this was a good mix of vegetables and more), and seafood and more. The place is clean, though the floor gets a bit slippery with the melting snow. Some sushi and hard ice cream options. While the salad bar is light, the hot food isn't bad - I particularly liked the honey-walnut shrimp, too. I was traveling through with my dad and saw the generally positive Yelp reviews and decided to stop in for some dinner. The food was decent, overall. The items were pretty typical buffet fare with a few random (fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, potato salad?) items thrown in. A lobster dish on the buffet was underwhelming. The lobster was way overcooked. The coconut shrimp was an atypical preparation; the lightly battered shrimp were covered in a delightful creamy coconut sauce. The one real standout was the Peanut Chicken. It was a really flavorful dish and if I ever happen to pass through again, I may just order it as an entree. There was some sushi out on the buffet, some were better than others. One of them had a topping of shredded cheddar and mayo, which i unfortunately mistook for a spicy krab salad. Other than the shredded cheese surprise, it was decent quality sushi, nothing special but nothing scarily awful. The decor was nice, but the floor was very sticky! It wasn't because of the snow, because this was a June visit, but the stickiness did bother me. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and quick with refills. Both Coke and Pepsi products are offered here, which is nice. A weekend dinner buffet will set you back around 9 or 10 bucks. read more

I've always been a fan of this place, despite what most people think of it...until today. I don't think some employees realize how one terrible interaction with them can send a customer elsewhere. I created a Yelp account just for this one review. I ordered online and a few minutes later I got a call from an employee who without saying even Hi or anything just told me they don't have Pepsi. He listed off ten other sodas in rapid succession which I could choose from, none of which I could remember. The drink wasn't for me so I had to relay this to a friend. She wanted Mountain Dew so I asked if they had that. In a bafflingly rude tone the man said "I told you what we have" then he began to run through the list again. Seeing my frustration on the phone, my friend said coke so I cut off his rude rant and said coke three times before he even bothered to stop talking. I don't like when I have to be rude back just to give them what they want. I said thank you and he said "bye" I'm giving two stars because I like the food sometimes. The other three are not there because of one employee who doesn't know how to talk to a customer without being a jerk. Very good food and lots to choose from. However, the crab legs had WAY TOO MUCH salt added to the water, this made them very fishy and the shells were like paper. Otherwise, the food was very good. The atmosphere could be better, most restaurants have music playing quietly but this place didn't so you just hear everyone talking. read more
