The initial response time was very timely. When I had a problem with the work, that was a different story. I live in a garden home which has very little yard area. I was charged $320 for bush trimming and they look terrible, I am beyond disappointed. I was promised satisfaction, and I have none. When I contacted Dave and asked him to come by and look at how bad it all looked his response was, "I will." I haven't heard another word from him. It is very disappointing that as an older single woman I am often dealing with people trying to take advantage of me and this is yet another example. Shame on you Dave, and by the way, there is nothing super about you so you should probably stop calling yourself Super Dave! I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. read more

Let me first say I have used this guy 3 times over the past 6 months or so. The first time I used him he was recommended by the city of Lubbock as the back of my house backs up to a busy street and needs to be maintained throughout the year. David was great when I reached out to him and charged me a fair amount. However, the second time I had him come mow and do a few other small things like blow leaves and pick up dog poop, he not only charged me $250 bucks, but did a poor job. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and needed him again as the grass needed to be mowed and a few leaves picked up. I also had dog poop on the turf in my backyard that needed to be picked up as well. This time, he had the excuse that his kid was at the state track meet, so I was cool with that. I then text him on Monday of the following week to see if he would be able to do my yard and he texted back saying absolutely this week for sure. I wait until Friday of last week and get a text out of nowhere from David saying he is at my house and needs to know what all I need done. I had already explained to David to text me before showing up as I have two small dogs. Strike one......Don't text me when you are already at my house with my back gate opened about to let my dogs out. Strike two is the pathetic job that not only David did but the two other hires he had working at my house. I got home and there were leaves all over the place. NO dog poop had been picked up and the yard looked like crap. I went ahead and paid David for this terrible job and will NEVER use him again. I stress to anyone looking for an honest job to NEVER use this individual. He can't communicate properly, he does a terrible job, and like I said......I will never use him again. If you want a great job at a fair price.....then do not use this man. I honestly feel like texting him back and saying....."when are you going to come finish the job that I paid you to do"? I'm not going to post my name, but if you read this David....you know exactly who I am. I will never use you again!!! Pathetic, overpriced labor is something Lubbock does not want or need. read more
