Worst company in Lubbock TX for any landscaping needs. Matt Tyler owns this and he acts like he is doing you a favor. Well the only favor is I will let all the neighbors know in Stratford Pointe and Kelsey park not use junk company Paradise Lawn & landscape. His bids are high, the quality of work is the worst and when you ask him to redo all the junk they place Matt is a no show. Look elsewhere. Read the last few reviews! BEWARE. He did my neighbors grass and all it is a WEEDS. Looks horrible. His trucks labeled Paradise Lawn and Landscape are all over the neighborhood--- do yourself a BIG FAVOR and drop this company quicker than you can blink your eyeballs. I contacted Paradise and Jeff came out to look at our home and discuss what we wanted. He left and said he'd be back the following day to measure. Three weeks went by and we had heard nothing. I called and a lady said they would get right on an estimate for me. Now a total of five weeks have passed without a word! Do not waste your time contacting this company! read more

We paid them to pull weeds, level my yard, and plant grass. We originally called them in June or July and they didn't plant grass until October. Never leveled the yard. I got about a 10x5 feet area of grass before it got too cold to grow. read more

Could not be happier with the work that Matt and crew have done at our home. They have been such A tremendous blessing. My husband and I haven't had any experience with sprinkler systems, and Matt and crew have been great " hand holders". They come and fix sprinkler heads, adjust our timers, adjust heads. Our yard is beautiful and our trees too. read more

This is the most unethical company. I paid a 50% deposit for a turf job they made excuses dodged my calls and directly lied to me for 8 months. I finally got part of my deposit back after getting a lawyer involved, where they overcharged me for a very minimal amount of work. They also tried to invoice me for work they did not even do. The first email I received in confirmation of quote /job was received to me March 18, 2020. Finally April 4, 2021my yard is finished after much disappointment and heartache. I hired Paradise to install a complete front yard with sprinklers, grass, trees, and border edging as a surprise for my husband. Note, my husband could have done the whole thing himself, he did our back yard, but it was a large project that would have taken him a couple of months to complete and therefore I hired Paradise because I assumed it would only take a week or two. Like I said it took over a year. I emailed exactly what I wanted planted. They planted none of it. I asked for Oak trees that they told me don't grown in West Texas, yet everyone in Ransom Canyon, where I live, has them. To begin with, they pulled up my Jacob's ladder rose bushes in my flowerbeds that I did not tell them to pull up. Then they told me they couldn't find any to replace them with and replaced them with some tiny crap roses bushes. They put in the border edging before planting the trees and before even removal of the trees in our yard we didn't want. They put in the boarder before leveling the ground and removing all the rocks in the yard (which they never ended up removing. I did it. ) They then had to pull up the edging to install the trees. They planted flowers that were dead and when I sent screen shots of them they told me they were "just in shock", yet they never grew. They planted 5 trees, not oak. I told them day one that two of the trees were dead. Again they told me they were just in shock. They never bloomed. They FINALLY agreed to pull up the two dead trees and replace them with Oaks. They gave us 3 different confirmation dates/time to come out and replace the trees, the last being in February 2021. All three times, they never showed up, or called to let us know they weren't going to show up. At my job, you no call no show and your fired. My husband called them the week after the last no show and their excuse was that they had driven down south to get the oak trees and the truck broke down. My husband asked multiple times to speak to the owner with never a call back. The office manager would say "he has tried calling/texting you." She lied to us multiple times. They finally just agreed to pull up the two dead trees and give us a credit for them. When they came to complete that a couple of weeks ago, they came unprepared and then their water hose wouldn't reach where they needed to water so they hooked up to our neighbor's water and she had to come out and tell them to stop using her water. This is NOT a knowledgeable or experienced landscaping company. They will take your money to do yard work with no expertise. Everything was done out of order and half done. We paid over $10,000 (after the credit of dead trees) and it looks horrible. My husband did our back yard himself (no trees mind you) for less than $1000. It sickens me knowing what we spent and looking at the finished project. Do not use. You won't be pleased. read more
