This florist is around my work, so I decided to try them out, which was 4 years ago. Now they are my go-to spot always. A bit of a hidden gem a bit further down from Great Neck Plaza, they have been taking care of all the special occasions for me when I would need a bouquet of flowers, usually, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Birthdays. Compared to the outrageous prices (especially on those two Ladies' Days where other florists charge upwards of $50-$80 for a dozen roses) their quality is incredibly high and prices are incredibly low, thus making it my go-to spot for flowers. A bouquet of a dozen red roses would cost about $30 here and a bit less for other colors, even on the holidays. Sometimes they may be a bit overwhelmed on major holidays so call ahead and reserve your bouquet like I always do. read more

My experience is exactly "U get what u pay for". I stopped by for a bouquet on the way to my friends house warming party. For great neck, the price was cheap as other yelpers said, but cheap price means cheap service & product. Shop keeper didn't pay attention to me and tried to sell me the pre-made bouquet which did not look fresh nor pretty. If you want a supermarket quality flowers, this is the place. read more

Terrible business people. Buyer beware! I bought a pretty orchid plant and within a week the petals all shriveled up and the bright green leaves were wilted and dropped. One week! I have other orchid plants and they've lived on for years. When I brought the plant back, they insisted that it was caused by lack of proper human care. Their plants were superior and there was no way that it was the plants fault or theirs for selling a dud orchid. The female owner was unconcerned about my predicament and pointed to her sign on the wall: "All sales FINAL". Not even a care that a product they sold could have been defective in any way. Not a good way to do business! Therefore I will not step foot in this florist and I warn others that once they plunk down their hard earned money into this woman's pocket, you're screwed! read more

Don't shop here! Owner was very rude! Went in there to buy flowers and to have it delivered on Valentine's Day, a week away & just a few blocks away if that matters. Wanted to buy a dozen roses and a worker said there is a charge for deliver, which was no problem. Then the owner said afterwards they might not get to it cause they are super busy. She was hinting to me to buy more flowers and a vase, but wouldn't give me a price or talk to me like a human being of what I need to buy to have it delivered. Arguably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had to endure in my life. It may even be worse then Comcast. They made me stand there for 30 minutes while taking customers who proceeded to walk in after me as if I don't exist. Moreover, the owner then decided to try and think it was ok to rip me off and give me the cheapest bouquet possible for double of what she would charge other customers. My best friend had flowers delivered from there, she spent a lot of money.They were predominately roses. ALL DEAD within TWO DAYS. I called the store,the worker said "Roses only last one day". I asked for the owner Lee to call me back..I have left numerous messages. Tonight I finally reached her,no apology,no offer to credit or replace. She said we sell them cheap (my friend is very generous). I said this is a terrible thing to do to people who live in your town,she said, I don't care & hung up on me. Terrible. The owner of the place is Mrs. Lee and boy does she have an attitude problem. Yes the flowers are cheap compared to the other florists out here. But, always keep in mind you get what you pay for. I have come here a number of times and sometimes the flowers will last but most of the time they just wither and die. They have this sign on their wall that says "NO PRICE NEGOTIATING". The funny thing is, she will give discounts to only some of her "favorite" customers. Don't even think about bringing your own ideas to her, because she will completely ignore them and tell you that you are wrong and force you into getting something she is comfortable making. She thinks she is doing everyone a favor by saving us some money but the quality is horrible. I would rather have quality over a couple of dollars. Also the way she treats her workers... ugh! Jeffrey, a boy that works there was helping me make a bouquet, and he was doing a splendid job. I did not have a problem with how he was making my bouquet, but she decides to intervene and scold him on how he was doing it wrong and she took it from him and made it herself which I thought wasn't that much different from what the boy was doing. All the while she was still helping another customer with their arrangement! Having them wait to finish my bouquet! Terrible! Jeffrey was very nice and helped me to the end and I thank him for that. She thinks her customers are wrong, her workers are wrong, the only person she believes is right is herself. Such arrogance! I hope her employees find a better place to work. Seriously? they eat on the steps of the store they never leave the store, it's terrible. No table or seats for them... is that even sanitary? I am never going back there.
