Every grocery item arrives fresh, carefully chosen, and handled with obvious attention to quality. What truly stands out is how seamlessly the pharmacy integrates with delivery. Prescriptions arrive double sealed for safety and privacy, and you must sign for them upon delivery, which adds an extra level of security and professionalism. Even more impressive is the care provided by the pharmacists. If a medication is new, they personally call to review possible side effects and discuss any potential interactions-exactly the same level of diligence you would receive if you were standing at the pharmacy counter in person. It is clear this team cares deeply about their customers and their health. The convenience of delivery paired with such thoughtful, responsible service is something that deserves recognition. When we walked inside, we noticed a lot of elderly men hanging around at the tables near the front and they were staring at us. Even the men exiting the store were staring! The only lady we noticed in the store besides myself was the young cashier. We grabbed a quick meal and checked out. Worth mentioning, this location does take Apple Pay! I took note that this location of Brookshire Brothers reminded me of Piggly Wiggly. However, it caught me off guard given there were also more men hanging out in the parking lot, talking at the corner. It was different! I didn't feel unsafe, but I didn't want to linger longer than needed as I wasn't sure what was going on.

I guarantee that she knows 90% of the customers by name. If I were to leave any constructive criticism for the management staff at Brookshire Brothers it would be to have more than one (or two) registers open at a time. There is ALWAYS a line of people waiting to check out. Use all 5 registers all day, everyday. In the down time you can use that register staff to stock and clean shelves and work on the overall cleanliness of the store.
