Unfortunately it just didn't work out and we decided to take our child out after four months of enrollment. It was just a series of events that led to this decision, but the worst part is how it ended. Since he started in April, we felt like he's been out of the daycare more days than he attended(2 weeks for covid closure(thankfully my son didn't have it), a little less than a week for coxsackie closure(unfortunately he caught it from one of the kids), a random day in June, these upcoming two weeks for training and Labor Day, and possible two weeks Christmas Eve thru New Years break) and we're still paying for all of those days he's not attending on top of paying for a sitter while the daycare is closed. We wish we were aware that they have extended breaks instead of just major holidays like the other daycares in the area. What make matters worst is that they have a system where you pay for the month in advance. We notified them in August that our child will no longer attend the center in September(the month we recently paid for) and requested to get the money back. First we was told that our agreement states we have to give a 30 day notice(which it absolutely doesn't). When we went over the agreement and explained how it doesn't, we was just told that accounting team won't give a refund with less than a 30 day notice. I honestly feel scammed for my hard earned money and this experience has left a real bad taste in my mouth. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had and no parent should have to go through this.

If you're looking for a prek for your little one instead of a daycare ... this is the place. They have a structured school day/meal times/nap times. His teacher has been working with him with potty training which is amazing. They even offer before and after care which was very important for me with my work schedule. Although it's small there is a little outdoor play area they go to when the weather is nice. My son always is excited when he gets to go out and play there. It's nice that they communicate with parents often. We get a calendar every month of what the kids will be learning and any important dates to remember. I love getting the weekly picture updates. There are lots of fun activities for the kids during the school day also. I like that they have enrichment programs once a week (with an outside company that comes in) you can pay extra for (my son has already done gymnastics and soccer skills). Another plus is that there is summer camp which runs similar hours and you can choose which weeks to send them (1-8 weeks). The teacher and director are always available to answer questions and get back to me quickly when I send a message or email. All of the teachers and aides are so sweet and caring towards my son and the other kids. My son never cries that he has to go to school and always tells me he had a good day and loves school. I would highly recommend Preschool learn time.

I looked at over a half dozen schools and as soon as I walked into CBS, I just knew this was "home". We started him for summer camp, and he's done so well. I informed the school of dietary restrictions for my child and also had given all forms required by them prior to starting from the doctor. Unfortunately this allergy was not taken seriously. On multiple occasions my child was served foods that they were allergic to. After the 1st time I was then told that the allergy chart was not up and that there was a miscommunication and it was understood that there were no restrictions for the child's diet. (Even though there was doctors notes in place) I was also told I would have to bring food from home or that they can serve the sides of the day excluding the protein. I was also told that the child would be separated from the rest of the class to make sure of the possibility of the child eating someone's else food wouldnt happen. I thought this would be a good idea but still from then on I was so paranoid that I would remind the staff the day of and call after lunch each time this item was on the menu to assure my child was ok. On the second occasion I spoke to the teacher who ASSURED me that my child did not eat the allergic item. 30 mins later I get a call that my child actually did and was experiencing allergic reactions. I was told that the teacher, yes the teacher was out of the room durning lunchtime and that the aid served lunch and fail to check the chart. With all that being said if you don't want to micro manage your child's school just skip this one. The staff is undertrained and the most important things get overlooked.

The staff was about to leave when I walked in for a holiday break over the summer, but Ms. Donna welcomed me in to show me around. I was impressed with how clean each of the rooms were. They have hard wood floors throughout with the occasional area rug for children to sit and play or read. Each child has their own hook for their coats and backpacks. The infant room as a dedicated location for each child's belongings (Diapers, cups, snack, pacifiers, etc.) They have an outside location for the children to play during the warm weather. In the summer they do water play. Once a week the music teacher comes in and the kids have a blast. Tiny Tiki is a fun place to be. After a short discussion with my husband we decided to bring our daughter here. Day one was rough for me to leave my daughter at 3 months old, but Ms. Donna was quick to send me pictures of how happy she was throughout the day. Over a year later I can honestly say choosing Tiny Tiki was the best decision. My daughter is so happy to go to day care each day. She knows all the teachers and can say their names at almost 2 yrs old. They all care for each of the children as their own. There are even times when she cries because she doesn't want to leave. The teachers are fabulous, very caring and loving. The Director is fantastic (two of her kids also go to POA at that location) and runs a well organized school. I was torn between doing the nanny thing or daycare and this school has set the bar very high. My little one eats better and naps better at school than at home. The experience has been wonderful. I have no complaints at all about this place. I'm sorry to see the negative review below. My daughter is thriving.. eating well and is an early walker, very social, very happy all the time. Both of my daughters have attended Parkside Preschool within the last four years. Parkside establishes a consistent routine that has teachers from neighborhood schools asking if my daughters attended Parkside. The school organizes many field trips that making learning interactive and fun. They also have numerous activities that allow the parents to be engaged in what's happening in the school such as parent nights, holiday parades and shows, magicians, multicultural events, and spring carnivals. They do have occasional bake sales to raise money for these extra events but they are only a few times a year and my daughters always loved being able to pick out a cookie or cupcake to bring home. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area with 3 year olds to consider Parkside!
