She explained she doesn't come to the shop if there is inclement weather. I understood and tried again to use her service this week. I showed up during normal hours on a weekday, on a perfectly sunny day, and again found the shop to be closed. Again no notes and no voicemail message explaining an absence. At this point, I decided I will not be using her service anymore. She is a very nice lady and is very good at what she does, but she has proven to be too unreliable. She seems to be absent from her shop more often than not. I visited a total of 5 times recently and saw her with the shop open for business only twice. Instead I went to Linda's Tailoring at 521 N Murray. The shop was open, I got immediate service, and a turnaround of only a couple of days. If you have months of waiting to burn and like to gamble on getting service, then stick with Hildegard. If you'd like to get service and get your tailored clothes back on time, head to Linda's.

I was told I needed to sign a release form &, if I did so, my drapes would be done and ready to go the next day. I thought it was odd that a month prior I had taken in another room of drapes and didn't sign a release. Well, I got drapes, but not like anything I delivered. My drapes appear to have been machine washed, not dry cleaned. The drapes have shredded tears, and the lining is longer than the drapes; they have shrunk! They are destroyed! I was charged $129.00 for the drapes I will now have to trash.
