It was so much fun, very well organized, and a family, friendly, and clean and exciting venue for our big event. The actual venue is spacious and well ventilated. Four-year-olds can be extremely messy, but our coaches did a great job containing the chaos. They were great with our catered pizza and cake, and we could not be more appreciative that they spent this afternoon with our big group. Today could not have been more gross in terms of the weather, but we felt taken care of and extremely warm under the care of these talented coaches. We look forward to coming back for future events!

The classes are also smaller groups than our previous swim school, so our kiddos get to practice their skills with instructors a bit more. Helen kindly provides us with safety tips and guidance to practice skills outside of class. We are moving at the end of this year and cannot imagine seeking lessons from any place other than SafeSplash. Highly, highly recommend SafeSplash!

She has learned real gymnastics skills in class, including round-offs, back-bends and more. -- There is a great gymnastics showcase each spring, at the end of the season (June). The girls get to show off each of the events -- floor, beam, bar. This is a great way for them to celebrate their progress and accomplishments in the year. -- There are elite level teams that one can participate on. These are invite-only. We have not been invited to these yet, but it is nice to know that the program offers plenty of room for growth and additional accomplishments. -- Scheduling is very easy, done through an online portal. You're also guaranteed your spot if you'd like to keep the same day/time mid-year (a new session technically starts in Jan). -- The instructors are great. Hailey, Mackenzie, Vincent -- really supportive, fun, give good instruction but a lot of encouragement too. -- There is wifi and a table in the waiting area. This means, if you need to log on to work during the lesson, you're able to do that, which I appreciate! There are also fun toys outdoors that siblings can play with, with supervision.

Many of our sped children, including my own, thrive off of a predictable schedule. I intended to send her for the day to test out the environment. Imagine my shock surprise when she didn't want to leave. I received unprompted feedback about my kid's day and they kept an eye on her behavioral well being. I would send her back in a heartbeat. With "freedom" for the kids... that means they really just choose whatever they want. I was so excited about the various offerings... but my child (about whom we're quite strict about input of screen time, etc) chose to play video and iPad games the entire time (multiple days) he was there. Perhaps I ought to have understood more clearly that Mario Kart and iPad games were going to be options. And taken that into consideration with my child's proclivities. He also had a hard time meeting other kids and making friends. Not usually difficult for him, but he said kids already had cliques and the older/bigger kids were condescending and mean. Oh well. We tried it because we needed to. Won't come again though.

Awesome running club!…read more It's not like other running clubs - I've been on the team several years and have made good friends there. For people interested in racing (roads, xc, and track) who want people to run and train with. Team culture is the best I've found - fun, social, and supportive of all ability levels (though no one is a 'beginning' runner). Coaches are real people who race themselves, not obsessive high-pressure college coach-types. If you're interested in a running club definitely email the coaches and try to come observe a practice.
