I booked a two-way trip from Philadelphia to JFK for my family (Two adults and one infant). We requested an infant seat and were assured that we would be at the airport within 3-3.5 hours of the pick up time. Our flight was set for 7:10 PM and the set pick up time of 11:30 AM was reasonable given the time frame. Early arrival was essential for as as we needed to make sure we get bulkhead seats for the long flight. The driver was on time for the pick up, but, despite our request to consider picking us up later in the route, we were only second to board the van. After that we proceeded to travel around greater Philadelphia area for two (2) hours, picking up multiple people and changing the route several times, due to driver being continuously redirected for different pick ups. By the time we headed towards the airport it was 1:30 PM. Several people on our ride had departure times of 5 and 5:30 PM, for which we were already late, considering long trip ahead. The driver did not acknowledge the fact that we were running late, and insisted on assuring everyone's timely arrival, despite the fact that we had to drop of one of the passengers at the Newark Airport. Needless to say, due to completely expected traffic and stopping by Newark Airport we did not arrive at JFK until 4:45 PM. Driver continued to be unapologetic and insisted on blaming the "unusually heavy traffic". Be that as it may, not including a safety time travel is inconsiderate to say the least. By the time we arrived at the counter, we were running late, and had to rush through the check in and security just to make the flight. I would not be surprised if other people did not make it at all. This level of service and complete lack of coordination and tardiness are unacceptable and I will not be using their service ever again, and would definitely not recommend their service to anyone. read more

I wish that I had read a review of this service before I'd booked a ride. It was the only name that came up on forums on getting to PHL from JFK so, naively, I reserved a seat. Although I was booked for a 4PM pick up time, they allowed me to board a shuttle at close to 1PM along with a Spanish speaking couple and their baby. The driver was very nice but he drove around the airport 3 or 4 times before he found a couple at T7 and then a pair of Haitian children and their grandmother at T8 (where they originally picked me up) that sat next to me. By this time it was feeling kind of crowded in there as the grandmother kept trying to pull the seat belt around both kids and hold it in place much to the dismay of the boy who at first starting wailing about it. Then he calmed down into a thrashing and fiddling pattern. Next, the driver went to EWR to pick up another passenger who sat in front. By now it was after 3PM. He dropped the same passenger off about 2 hours later at which point there was some discussion among passengers about how far that had taken us from where the other passengers needed to go. The mother in the back started asking for water to make powdered milk for her baby which the driver never stopped to pick up. For the next hour he spent dropping off the all the other passengers leaving only me, the first one on the bus! I stepped onto the PHL curb approximately 7:45PM. The Spanish speaking couple told me it should have only taken 2 hours to get to Philadelphia, without counting 5 drop-offs. It cost me $63 (I gave the driver what little cash I had over that amount because I felt a little sorry for him as he'd been driving since 6:30 that morning and he really was nice if fiery and I suspect the other pax gave him nothing) and nearly 8 hours of my day to take Super Trans. My co-workers warned me it would be much faster to use Amtrak and Septa. Next time, I'll listen to them. read more

I took Super Trans from JFK to Ft Washington on 11/12/2019. I picked up my luggage at 8:50am, called the office, went to the designated pick-up spot, and the van was there in ten minutes. We made one stop on the way to the Philadelphia area to transfer several passengers to another van and continued on our way within minutes. We made great time, the driver was courteous and helpful, and despite my fears based on other reviews, I have no complaints and I will use this service again. read more

I prefer no star for this company. There is no reputation or customer service in this company. I called at 930 am for the next super trans from JFK to Philly. I successfully reserved one seat on the 1100 am super trans. At 1110 am, the shuttle arrived and i was told by the driver that there was no room for me and I should wait for the next super trans, which would arrive in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, there was still no car. I called and was told that next would arrive between 1230 to100 pm. I should take the 1100 am bus and in the end, I was asked to take 100 pm bus... What's more terrible, they didn't apologize. Do not use this service. I travel frequently, both domestically and internationally and this was the worst travel experience I have had, (including experiences in third world countries). My experience from South Jersey to JFK was pure torture -- similar to the others. The van was over an hour late & crowded; driver unapologetic; they stopped at the Newark airport (without warning) to drop off two people when the rest of us were running late for JFK. Overall, it feels unsafe. We also a women with two screaming babies on the shuttle, which turned out to be a four-hour ride. Not kidding. For the future, I will take the train, which is worth every penny and actually very easy to do...or just stay in NY the night before and take a taxi from Manhattan. DO NOT USE. read more

Got picked up at 1pm. Didn't make it to JFK until 7 pm. The driver had no idea where he was going and circled Philadelphia for almost 3 hours. Half the passengers he was supposed to pick up cancelled their reservation. The driver also decided we needed to stop at wawa on the way for a 15 minute break. If the option is between using this shuttle service or never traveling ever again I choose the latter. read more

Please think twice before taking super trans shuttle service.My husband and son took 18 hours flight from India and super trans was supposed to pick them up from JFK instead they left without them . Not only they messed up our reservations but My husband and son were stranded in the airport for 10 hours because they could not find a hotel room and the next shuttle pick up was 8.00AM. Reserved a 20 person bus for our wedding photos about a month out. Called and confirmed a week out. And then was met with a nine person van. After five or so calls being greeted with a "well, what do you want us to do about it?" attitude, they eventually sent out an additional van about halfway through our reservation. Driver was nice, although I'd call his route selection was questionable-at-best, especially given our time constraints caused by the multiple trips to get all the people. I don't know why there are so many negative comments. I've been using Super Trans now for about 5 years on my trips to/from Philadelphia airport. I only had one unfortunate experience (which really wasn't unfortunate, just that I wasn't used to having to pick up people and take 2 hours to get to my car). But Joe stood by his word and discounted my next trip. They are ALWAYS on time...(sometimes even early) going to the airport. And returning, I never had a problem worth complaining about. They are always either waiting or no more than 10 minutes to pick me up. I didn't use them for JFK but there's other options out there. This is my experience to/from Philadelphia. Then it stopped at a random 7/11 in Jersey for 15mins while waiting for a passenger in Newark. Ended up reaching Center City Philly at 3pm. Definitely avoid if possible! read more

I wish I could give negative stars. I have never had a worse experience with a transportation service. I used SuperTrans when I was flying out of JFK for the week of Thanksgiving, since I live outside of Philadelphia and didn't want to worry about driving. Never again will I make that mistake. I got a 4:45 shuttle outside of Philadelphia for a 9:25 flight. If we had driven straight there, it should have taken us 2 hours or less. Instead, it took us 3 hours. This would have been understandable if there had been traffic, but there was none. My shuttle arrived about 5 minutes late. Once I got in the van, we waited another 10 minutes for a different shuttle to bring other passengers to us, and then another 10 minutes while the two shuttle drivers chatted and smoked cigarettes. We stopped to pick up another passenger, then stopped again 5 minutes later so the driver could get gas and smoke another cigarette. By this time the shuttle van smelled unpleasantly like cigarettes. We finally got on the road for good, but including the 10 minute pit stop for coffee (and another cigarette for the driver), we ended up getting to JFK about an hour after we should have. I'm now waiting for my return shuttle, which I was told would be here 80 to 100 minutes after I called (outside of the 5 to 90 minute range that they promise). For $140, this is a complete joke. I will never use this service again and I strongly advise anyone against using it. read more

This was my first time using a shuttle service. Went from Center City to PHL roundtrip. The service was phenomenal. Driver "Danny" was on time both ways (even 3 weeks later for pick-up). I had difficulty finding the pick-up area, but he waited patiently for me to arrive. I was alone on both occasions. Danny's driving was safe and appropriate, and he helped me with my luggage into the airport and my building. I would definitely book with them in the future. read more

updating my review from 2 years ago. my family and i took them RT philly to JFK and both legs of the trip were nightmares. First AGAIN, they did not call to confirm the day before, and when i called them they had us listed to leave A WEEK LATER. so...i'm glad i called. They are so confused, i don't think they have a computer or even a dry erase board to keep track to call them to ask whats up. over and over. 3. on the way back they were 3 hours late to pick us up from JFK. i know they have to coordinate pick up with other arrivals, but dont say you will pick us up then. we paid $140 for the four of us to get home- we could have gotten an Uber or a Lift. Jesus, maybe even a regular taxi. 4. The driver did not care, apologize or even pretend this wasn't normal. He had a friend with him in the passenger seat that watched TV loudly the entire time. The driver went waaay out of the way to drop of his friend, whom im sure was not a paying customer. 5. from jfk to philly took 5 hours total and this was in the middle of the night, no traffic. they are the WORST. take the mega to Penn Station and there is a $14 shuttle bus to JFK or Laguardia from there. OR a Lyft or an Uber is about $100, so if there is a few of you just do that. ANYTHING but dont use this confused, unapologetic company that charges SO much money for the worst service ever. my first review was entirely too generous: one star for their phone customer service. im not even sure they use computers, maybe just scraps of paper for notes. they are so discombobulated. However, somehow they did pick me up at home on time to take me to JFK. many pickups on the way, took forever, but that's why they pick you up extra early. And if you are faint of heart just close your eyes during the ride because we were darting in and out of lanes, almost scraping the sides rails, breaking hard, speeding fast. really scaring, but i needed the rush. nice driver, im sure he knows what he's doing. but get a confirmation number and call to confirm before they call you the day before. before they call you. they didnt have my reservation at all and i had to rebook everything. they also add lost of charges, but they are all listed on their website. there's not many choices for shuttles to jfk, so - whaddya gonna do? read more

Truly horrible. DO NOT USE!!! NEVER. NEVER. NEVER use this transport company. Horrendous experience. Promised to pick us up at 1 pm from international flight. Driver picks us up 1 hr late. No apology. No explanation. Not courteous. Then proceeds to take us on a tour of JFK going to THE SAME TERMINAL multiple times. Also the driver took this as an opportunity for several smoke breaks. Bus does not have working air conditioning. There are 10 people crammed in a bus that should not be in use, especially for travel from NYC to Philly. Just when we think we are in the clear, the driver makes another stop. And takes us to Newark!! We are sitting in traffic on 95 at 415 pm and our flight got in at 12 pm. Edit: we then stopped for half an hour to get gas and wait for another driver to come take some of the passengers. The whole experience was atrocious. After making a reservation online, the confirmation read something like "we will contact you for a confirmation if needed" wtf! I had to call to get a price quote and was quoted 140$ for an unaccompanied ride to JFK, not bad -wrong. Upon arrival I was asked to sign a receipt for over 400$! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Where do I begin? Let's start at the 11 am pick up time. Our driver arrives and we board the shuttle. We are the first passengers and are traveling from NE Philly to JFK. Driver continues picking up passengers as far south as Hanover PA for the next two hours, only to loop all the way around for the final stop that is located TEN MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE! SuperTrans wasted two hours of my time I could've used for more important things like a half day at work, etc. Strike one. Strike two is then telling all passengers that we are headed to Newark airport first, and then JFK! In my email correspondence with SuperTrans I was told "total trip duration will be 3-3.5 hours." Two hours into a trip *solely picking up passengers* and you expect to get me to JFK in another hour and a half? YEAH, OKAY. It's now 3:15, we are an hour from JFK and I am BEYOND LIVID! Strike three is two-parted: 1) MINIMAL AC IN A VAN WITH TEN PEOPLE!! 2) Customer service is ignorant and told me I could pay an additional $200 for a private car service if I am so unhappy. Have been using this service from 2010. This is the only shuttle service to that covers South Jersey to go to JFK. My last experience was 3 weeks back from JFK to SJ.. Yes, they went to pick up passengers from a Sea Port past NY City and then Newark, but I understand that they need to cover their costs. Seems like they read reviews - they no longer drop you off at home, unless 3 or more passengers - Though I'm dissapointed,this is a plus for the folks going to Philly and beyond. I never have missed an international flight by travelling with them. Feel sorry for the folks who had to face. Its all relative; I nearly missed an international flight on a day I rented a car to drive to JFK - due to fog and and accident in turnpike on rush evening hour. Let me just say, first, that I had no problems with the driver himself. He was organized, helpful, and polite. He also drove extremely fast to catch up as we were EXTREMELY behind. In normal circumstances I wouldn't think that would be a good thing, but since we were running very late I thought it was helpful. It was thanks to him that we ultimately made it on time to JFK from Philly, even though it took 5 hours instead of 3, as the person on the phone told me. First off, I had problems making the reservation over the phone. Called, reserved for the next day, was told that it would take 3 hrs, and that the driver would call me to confirm. By evening no one had contacted me, so I called again. Turns out they made a mistake and my name was booked for the 26th of Dec instead of the 16th. Person on the phone said he would figure it out and find a spot for me for the next day. He said to give him 10 mins and he would call me back. 20 mins went by and no one had called me, so I called them back. Spoke to the same guy who began sounding very annoyed that I was being pushy and whose tone became very paternalistic, saying things like, "We just put down the phone 2 seconds ago!" And "I told you I would find something for you!" While I appreciate his being on top of it, I thought his customer manners were beyond abysmal, considering they were the ones to make a mistake in the first place. He eventually called me back saying that he found a spot for the next day at 12:30, and confirmed that it would take 3 hrs to get from Philadelphia to jfk. Driver picked me up at 12:15. There were other people on the van but it wasn't full. Off we went to pick up another person, and another, and another, and another, and another. We went all over the place, even to Manayunk and then back to Center City. By 2 we hadn't even left Philadelphia!! And I was told it would take 3 hrs total! We made it to JFK, as I said, 5 hours after I was picked up, which included spending 1 hr in traffic around Staten Island. I was SURE I wasn't going to make my plane and I was beyond pissed. I wouldn't recommend this company and I wouldn't take it again--it took me almost as much time to get from Philly to JFK than to fly overseas from New York. I'd much rather get to Penn Station by myself and then take Subway/AirTrain. read more

This company is terrible! I have done some rides with them and they always have an excuse for the things that go wrong. They make you wait in the airport for hour so they can pick up as many people as possible. They laid about the pick up time when you schedule your shuttle! Hi I took the round trip service to PA to JFK. While going to JFK it was 3 .30 hrs ride, which is very good. but while coming from JFK to PA, it took almost 7.30 Hrs. I called the service at 5.30 Pm , told the shuttle was coming at 7. after getting on to shuttle at 7.20, we reached Phili at 12.00 in the night. Most of the passengers are international and travelling almost 15 hrs flight. it is the most difficult thing to travel 7 to 8 hrs after flight journey. Hope you understand and do corrections. I never write reviews, but after reading about all the negatives I thought I would share my positive experience. I needed a lift to JFk for a late evening flight. I was picked up at the Holiday Inn in Ft Washington which is their last pick up location. The driver was only 10 mins behind schedule which is what the operator told me when I called to check on him. We made one stop at a turnpike rest stop for 5 mins. I arrived to the airport earlier than planned. The van only had 4 other passengers and was very comfortable. I'm sure if you do not plan accordingly you could have an issue due to traffic or waiting on someone else, but that can happen if a friend drives you. $60 is an excellent price to get from PHL to JFK. read more

Third time trying SuperTransPa. Again had to chase down advance online reservation that wasn't acknowledged. Getting from PA (Philly) to either JFK or EWR has not been a problem. The return trip all three times has been BAD. Many minutes on hold when calling upon arrival, and then anywhere between 1-1/2 hrs and several hours, or sticking you with a different company who won't drive to your door without extra money. I will choose an alternate service in future. Will also spread the word among my tour company colleagues and customers. read more

To start, the driver never got up to help with our bags. Consequently, our bags were left in the aisle for everyone to step over. Then he had an unscheduled pickup at Newark. OK, they have a business to run and an extra fare on the way home helps the bottom line. BUT, he went inside to buy snacks! He came back with food and drink. Really? I emailed the company a one minute video of their driver eating, drinking, talking on the cellphone, (not hands free), playing with the navigation on his phone, and last but not least READING AND FLIPPING THROUGH MULTIPLE PAGES WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH on the NJ TPK. A driver should have a professional obligation to focus on the road when taking the lives of 12 people in their hands. You know what the company response to the video was?... Nothing. So I pulled out my receipt and showed him it clearly stated that I requested 2 passengers. But then he said I only paid for one. So I had to call their customer service who was extremely rude! This was the worst service! I will never use them again. Neither would I recommend them. Stay away. The driver was 20 min late. And when he finally called, he couldn't find the address. He yelled at me as it was my fault he didn't know how to use GPS. Then he yelled at all other passengers as he was picking them up. The weather was terrible and he did try his best to take us all to JFK, but he didn't buckle up and violated a lot of rules. He dropped me off last and that is when we realized that my bag was missing. He simply gave it to somebody else. It contained all my documents. Thank god my passport was on me, but everything else was missing. He promised to find it and take it back to Philly to the address from which he picked me up. I called the office. They promised that he would drop my bag off as well. My family would have had to mail all my docs using FEDEX (and it's expensive). BUT when my sister called them the next day after not receiving the bag, they refused to bring it. They told her that she could pick it up if she wanted to! This is still not resolved. Such a bad service ! I was told that they would pick me up at 3:30 and I was there 10 minutes before. 20 minutes later I called them and the driver said he already left at 3:20. When I asked him to come back he said it was not possible and since I had to get the flight I had to take a taxi to the other side of the city to catch the shuttle. Booked transportation from Bordentown, So. Jersey to Newark. Van arrived at the Hampton Inn 45 min. late and when they finally pulled in, four passengers got out to use the restroom! I couldn't believe it. It was like they were on a tour bus or something. So we finally left 55 min. late. The driver was very nice, though, and rushed to get me there on time. I was so stressed and got to the gate within minutes of boarding the plane. ( Their reservation clerk had asked me how long before my flight I wanted to arrive & I told him 90 min.). I agree with the "would-give-zero-stars" reviews. A group of four of us used this 'service' recently for a Philly to JFK run. Going: driver late and lost claiming address would not come up in GPS. Mind you the home is in an established neighborhood with homes built in the 40's. Anyway, arrives in nice van with 5 seats so I thought wow this is going to be great. Wrong. Drove to pick up one more person, then to a Dunkin Donuts lot to get more people, switch vans, etc., etc. Super crammed and feels quite unsafe. Drives like a maniac to JFK. The return home 13 days later was doubly abysmal. A 15 minute wait turned into 45 mins. Same raggedy van with huge east/west crack across windshield. Shoved 13 people in, all with tons of luggage. Drove consistently at 80-90mph at night...in the rain...with no defroster. Another stop, smoke and switch drivers/vans at a Wawa. New driver was too hype, drove worse than the 1st one, speeding, slamming on brakes, complaining the entire time he had to drive back to NY that night. Manages to break one customers' handle on his luggage, instead of apologizing, insults the customer by saying the luggage was cheap! After 4 harrowing hours we finally arrive at our destination. I practically jumped out of the van while it came to a stop. Will never, ever, ever use this company again. THE WORST. read more

I was picked up from the airport terminal within ten minutes of calling the toll-free number and delivered to my front door without hassle. Never give you actual timing when you call them (wrong by factor 2-3x) and get very rude very quickly. Used them once and never again. This was a very very bad experience I arrived to the Philadelphia international airport 3 minutes after my pick up time which was at 5:45 and the van already left me and I thanked the driver multiple times for circling back for my husband and I . Then we made over 6 stops stopped at the half way point for maybe 15-20 minutes thank GOD I had a overnight flight ...made it in time ....oooohhhhh sooo the return I arrived in JFK at 9:00 am I called them they advised me to call once I got my bags soo I called back maybe 9:30 they advised me that the driver will be there in 10-15 mins soo make sure I'm standing outside in zone 7 remind you I'm returning for Bali where the weather is in the 90 not know it's freezing here in JFK So I'm outside freezing not realizing that's it's 10:46 a whole hour went passed I called back and they have a attitude with me as if I'm doing something wrong and advised me that the driver will be pulling up in the next ten minutes sooo maybe around 12:00 o'clock the driver pulls up and I'm very happy to only realize that he turning back into the JFK AIRPORT to wait another 45 minutes for someone else flight to land why didn't I get that service..but to sum up my story up I didn't get home until 5pm that evening !!! read more

Dear god, they are so bad. So bad. Like being on a plane for hours, landing in dirty JFK airport is bad enough... but no, we then wait an hour for the guy to show up, only to find out he's got others to pick up at other airports. Our plane landed at 6:30, we got picked up at 8, and it's now 10pm and we're about 1.5 hours away from our car in Fort Washington. Jet lagged, pissed off at the inefficiency of this crappy "service". You'd think a reservation would mean, you know, timely service, but this pos company doesn't seem to know the meaning. If you don't follow your fellow Yelpers' advice and go ahead and book anyway, a word to the wise: you have to call their main # repeatedly once you land to get anyone to pay attention to the fact that you're in need of a ride (that you booked!) if you don't call, they treat you like a no show. Wtf. Luckily we're persistent mofos. This is just tye worst. $210 for two people, round trip, ft Washington to jfk. Taking Amtrak to penn to subway next time. Or just renting a car and dropping it off at the airport, which may actually be cheaper/easier. Bottom line is that they're the fracking worst.
