They missed our pickup time by an hour. Then when we boarded they drove around picking up other passengers for an hour before consolidating vans. Moving us from one van to another citing a more direct route to Wayne, PA. The first bus left JFK our new bus returned to our original terminal where we were picked up 1.5 hr earlier. Landed 1 pm, missed 2:30 pickup, picked up 3:30 JFK terminal 4, back at JFK terminal 4 at 4:45 pm in a new van. Not worth price for this experience. read more

I'm giving three stars bc this service is for CONVENIENCE, not necessarily the quality of service. The service is Super Clutch for international travels, esp if you're traveling out of JFK or EWR. They have a strict schedule and you have to make sure to scheduled your departure and arrival times within their time frame. Late night/red eye flights, you'll have to find another service bc they stop pick ups after 9:30pm. The drop offs were my only issue. There's no set order for the drop off. I believe they do prioritize those that have flights, but if you're not catching a flight - you're last on the list. I boarded the van, at 9:15am at EWR and was dropped of in philly around 11:30am. I asked him to drop me off to the closed EL bc I was tired of being in the van. Lol I was home by 12pm via the EL & an Uber. So I paid $68 ($10 tip for the drive who was nice) for a 3hr ride home - not complaining - just pointing this out. read more

Last night picked up in Newark for transport to near Philadelphia. Was very uncomfortable with the driving. The van told him to " reduce speed" 6 times. That was when he hit 80 but was going 76 mph on 55 mph roads. One of those times was on the 476. I was praying a cop would pull us over! Multiple times while driving at high rates of speed driver was looking down at google maps on his cell phone. What about audio directions?? Then it started to rain and he didn't reduce speed. His windshield wipers needed replacing. I was right behind him on the passenger side and all they did was make visibility worse. I'm currently sitting in the van at JFK and it's 9:45 PM. The range of time the van is supposed to be at JFK is 8:15-8:45 PM. I had called at 8:20 letting SuperTrans know that I had picked up my baggage and was ready for pick-up, and the person answering said that that's fine, and to wait for his call since there were other pick-ups. By 9:15, I had not received any correspondence so I had to call again to make sure they didn't forget me. It was then that the coordinator of the pick-ups said that the driver went to terminal 8 instead of 7 for pick-up... after I had told them I was at terminal 7... and even with them having my flight information. Also, this driver doesn't seem to be calling people, he just drives up to the terminal and honks or waits for them. That is inefficiency at its finest. I wish the driver could communicate to us and let us know where he was going and how many other people we have to pick up. I also wish that SuperTrans would stick to its schedule or at least relay information to its passengers why it isn't sticking to it. One positive point is that I originally was going to take the 5:30-6:00 shuttle, but due to my flight being delayed, I couldn't make it. I called them and asked if I could take the latest shuttle and they allowed me to make that change. I probably wouldn't take them again unless I was really desperate. Don't book with Super Trans. It is simply terrible, the worst of shuttle services between JFK and Philadelphia. After 6 hours of waiting at JFK my relatives were picked up, although per reservation they were supposed to be picked up within a couple of hours of their arrival. And then for a 130 mile commute, they had to endure another 6 hours of travel, because the driver had to pick someone in Newark, NJ airport and then stop everywhere before dropping them. Super Trans has the worst type of service and no respect for individual customers. Sadly, its customer rep (male guy) was so arrogant that he won't even apologize for or empathize with the customer's experience for anything. Two days before trip (that I booked transport months ago) got a random email - NOT even a call. Time was moved by 3 hours- not leaving me any leeway for any error on way to an International flight to JFK. Actually, leaving me SHORT of the recommended time, even if not one thing went wrong. They could move me to another transport 12 HOURS before the flight and 40 minutes from my original pick-up point. I had to quickly find a private service and spend much more money than I had planned on spending. They were nice, but this is unacceptable. They need to manage the bookings. They said they had to group me with another run, "because no one else was going at the time I needed". Also, the information in the email was incorrect and the time was printed small and still had old time as well - requiring a whole lot of back and forth and angst. Not cool. The worst experience ever and it happened today Saturday 3/25/2023 on a pre-booked trip from JFK airport to Bellmawer in southern New Jersey. First, although they had my flight information, I waited for an hour and half at the airport before they finally showed up. Then the driver, I don't know where to start or where to end. Should I start from texting while driving or making and answering personal calls while holding the phone to his ears? Or maybe eating while driving or not wearing a seatbelt in a passenger van. Or driving recklessly way over the speed limits, changing lanes without signaling and beeping at other drivers. Better yet, stopping at a service area on the Jersey turnpike to fill up with gas then allowing other passengers to get off to get coffee and tea. And to top it off, the driver was not sure which passenger is going to which address and which passenger pre-paid and which owed him money Please save yourself the aggravation and wasted time and stay away from this company read more

I had a great experience with Super Transport from Ft Washington PA to JFK, and back. They were professional and very helpful. They picked me up right on time at JFK. On the way back, there were several other people in the van who needed to get to various places in Philadelphia, so when we got to Trevose, another van was waiting to take me separately to Ft Washington. This saved me at least an hour and I'm very grateful to Super Transport for not making me endure a bunch of stop-offs. read more

This is my THIRD experience with this airport shuttle. Of course after the first two (they are the only game in town for Philly/South Jersey to NY airports) I just knew there'd be a problem. This time I was not the passenger, but the poor sod waiting for the passenger to be picked up so I could get to work. Fifteen minutes after the scheduled pick up time, he called Super Trans only to be told they'll be another half an hour! So here's a provider who KNOWS they are running 45 minutes late, yet does not call the customer to let them know? Who the heck does something like this? I used Super Trans for the first time because it was convenient. Shared with my neighbors, who couldn't wait to hear about my experience after my trip because they would consider utilizing Super Trans as well. Bought a RT fare from Bensalem to Newark Airport. First leg, not bad. Second leg after traveling all day was a huge disappointment. My flight was 2 hours late and Super Trans was not able to pick me up. I had to take a Uber home. When I contacted Super Trans the next day requesting a partial refund, Teresa was rude and nasty. I wasn't asking for an entire refund, just the refund that was due to me, since they weren't able to pick my up from the airport. Teresa explained that there were 6 passengers that were picked up at 6:30pm and the driver was not going to wait for my arrival at 9:40pm. She (Teresa) also explained, that was the chance I took for a late arrival. Are you kidding. Oh and then she hung up on me. I wasn't asking for an explanation Teresa, just an apology and a partial refund. No worries, I called AMEX and will receive my refund. I'm surprised Super Trans stays in business with Teresa as their customer service rep. This would have been a great service for me, since I travel frequently, never again Super Trans. read more

My family and I have been using SuperTrans for YEARS, since when their Philly to JFK was still $40. The services was always just ok with really long hours on a 3hrs ride. Today, the lady I spoke to hung up on my twice, told me I was annoying her and needed to make up my mind in regards to being picked up from my home vs. at McDonald's on the boulevard at 5am. I was always picked up from home and dropped off as well so it was very surprising that I had to pay extra to get the same services I got when the rides were 50% less than what they are now. With drivers holding on to your change and keeping it as tip without it being given to them. All that I can do with. This lady was very unpleasant; told me I was annoying her and it was not a complicated situation, told me to make up my mind and then hung up. I will rather pay $1000 elsewhere than ever Support this very rude, very unprofessional, and very meh business. read more

Unfortunately Yelp won't allow zero stars. 1.5 hours since our flight landed and still waiting for our pick-up. The only thing you get when you call their info desk is attitude from somebody that can barely talk, and clearly can't comprehend, the English language. We actually had the misfortune to book these losers for a round trip from NJ to JFK. For our outbound flight they picked us up (from a random local hotel) at 1230... For a 730 flight! We figured we would be at the airport quite early; boy were we wrong. They drove us through the bowels of north and northeast Philly before stopping at a random Dunkin Donuts location for 1 hour, after which we moved our belongings to a different van. We ended up at the airport at 530, just enough time to check in, but only after spending 5 hours inside two vans, both of which reeked of cigarette smoke and body odor. If I could give them a 0 I would --- DO NOT risk your life with this company. I can't begin to start with the number of problems with this shuttle service --- so many - I will *never use it again. Considering the fact that most everyone else has provided this level of rating, it looks like it's universally terrible. *Never use it. From some of the reviews on here, it seems that most people don't understand that unless you pay a LOT of money, these airport shuttles make several stops en route, and sometimes even with GPS, drivers get lost or stuck in traffic. I've used both major shuttles in Philly that serve the NYC area airports, and I can't complain. I've never had a bad driver, they're all willing to make a rest stop en route, and they're all willing to help you with your luggage. Supertrans has a fleet of clean, comfortable, modern vans that make for a comfortable ride. The drivers I've had were courteous and sociable. I will caution those arriving on red eye or early morning international flights that none of the shuttle companies has a pickup before 7-8, so you might want to think about that when you book. If you carry several bags (I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow where I'll have one suitcase and two carryons), waiting a couple hours will be a LOT easier than trying to get back to Philadelphia via Penn Station. read more

The trip from JFK to Philly takes forever and you never know how many stops they are doing on your way home, sometimes JFK-Philly take 5 hours. And they are extremely rude in phone, before you have start to talk to them they are rude. They answered the phone by: Wait! and I was waiting for 7 minutes then I didn´t have time to wait any more so I hung up. Hi I'm just writing to let you know I've used your service quite a few times for the convenience, but your people answering the phone need to learn how to listen before speaking and stop being rude. I got put on hold 4 times, the lady never listened to my request and constantly talked over me and then hung up on me when I told her she was being rude. The time of my call was at 220pm on March 25th. I own a business and there is never a reason to be rude and I'm sure the person will make an excuse as to why she was rude, but it was uncalled for. Disappointing experience. When I arrived from overseas at 7 am a dispatcher said to be at D-for-dog passenger pick-up at 8. At 8:10 I called to hear I'd spoken with the overnight dispatcher and got wrong information. Told to be at D again at 8:40. At 8:50 I called again and heard the driver had been there and didn't see me, and now was held up because ramps were closed. I asked other drivers coming through who said all ramps were open. I called and this time the dispatcher gave me what for and hung up on me. I had to figure out an alternative to get home. One thing you need in a shuttle service is reliability -- courtesy and accurate information too -- and at least in this case I didn't get that. After a 10 hour flight and immigration I got lucky and got picked up right away....just to find that we needed to wait for other passengers arriving 2 hours later....so we waited on a McD parking lot... Then they asked me more money because that was the morning shuttle. After my complaint they update the website to charge extra $25 not on only for early shuttles (before 8AM) but to all shuttles before noon. but I still had to pay the extra 25. They stated that they do not more than 4 stops, that's not true, they did 5 on my arrival and it took almost 2 hours to get home once we got to Philadelphia. Besides that and even worse, my wife's shuttle was schedule to pick her up 4 hours after she called to get picked up. Wish I could give negative stars to this thief!!! Our wedding day was absolutely amazing, with the exception of this limo company. The owner is a rude and sleazy business man, who will try to take advantage of you. Save your money and time by not looking any further into this company. Below is a list of the issues we had with them: - We paid for two 36 passenger busses and they tried to get away with sending a smaller bus. After confronted, they declined the accusation until we provided picture evidence and then would only reimburse the over charged amount. - The limo bus was broken upon picking up the wedding party but during the hour is was sitting outside of the church, no attempts were made to find a working bus to safely get the wedding party to the photograph sites. Instead we ended up stuck on the side of the road 3 times, and the bus was able to start after sitting for a few minutes but would not go out of first gear and would cut out causing an abrupt stop. Most of the wedding party was able to escape without any injuries but every time it stopped abruptly, the entire bus would fly out of their seats and of course caused all of their food/drinks to be thrown on the person next to them. When we asked for restitution for this, the owner denied the entire incident. We paid for 6 hours of the bus but it only worked for 2 hours and then limped back to the shop, yet the owner still tried to charge us for the full 6 hours that we had previous paid. - LATE ARRIVALS FOR EVERYTHING. The driver arrived late for every location and caused delays in every aspect of the wedding and missed photography locations entirely. When the owner was asked about this, he claimed that he was only 25 minutes late to pick up the wedding party and "that's not that bad." All in, I cannot fully express how horrible this limo service is and how much I would warn anyone from wasting a single penny with this atrocious company. read more

I should have heeded the advice of the poor reviews. We booked the service to take us from Philly to JFK for two adults, 1 kid and 1 infant. This is ahead of a 24 hour flight to Singapore. The journey itself was terrible, it took us almost 5 hours to get to JFK, I should have guessed as they picked us up at 1pm for a 9pm flight. I had rang the company twice the day before to confirm that they will be providing an infant car seat (that I've already prepaid for). When the driver arrived the following day, not only did he not bring an infant car seat, he tried to tell us that we didn't pay for it. We had to use our own car seat and was promised that they will return the car seat to us the following day. It's been over 3 weeks and after countless emails and phone calls, they have delivered the wrong car seat twice (filthy and old). I just want my car seat back!!!!!!! Now I have to go get a new car seat for my baby because they have stopped responding to my emails. I would NEVER ever travel with them again and i would rather pay more to fly out of philly than JFK so I can avoid using this company. read more

I am a frequent traveler and was using SuperTrans with no problem, but started having problems the last two months. There customer service and management is horrible and I will NEVER used them again... 1. I had a roundtrip reservation with SuperTrans to PHL. I was picked up with no problem. We had to stop and pick up another couple from a different shuttle driver. For some reason, while loading the belongings of the couple, the driver from the other van took my suitcase and put it in his van without communicating with me or my driver. I get to the airport and have no suitcase and the driver of the other van is in King of Prussia and won't make it back in time for my flight. My driver was apologetic but management never apologized. They were supposed to send my items via FedEx but came up with every excuse not to send them. Then management said they would reimburse me for purchasing new clothes for my trip. However, I was never reimbursed from SuperTrans for my purchasing I said I will give them another chance. I had no problems for a month or two. 2. I reserved a shuttle for a one-way to PHL for a flight that left at 6:50am. Shuttle was supposed to pick me up at 3:45am. No CALL NO Show. Called SuperTrans multiple times with no answer. Called multiple shuttles, all who were unavailable because their schedules were already made & had no one was available for last minute travel. Taxis cost between $80-100, for a one way trip, which I couldn't afford. Missed my flight by five minutes after finally reaching somone to take me to the airport in the early morning hours. SuperTrans only response was, "Oh, that is my fault, I forgot to tell the driver." I will never use SuperTrans again. They are unprofessional and unapologetic for their misdoings. This is the worst shuttle service ever. I have to use it once in a while and very time it has been disappointing. They pick you up very early because then they would pick up other people all around the Philadelphia area. It could take up to 3 hours just to get out From Philly. Moreover they fit in a single bus 9 people so that they have to put the luggage among the seats. Beside being annoying this is also dangerous. When you have to go back to Philly from JFK it can take up to 2 hours to get out from the airport because they will wait for other passengers. Terrible, terrible company with no respect or professionalism towards customers. Use another service or share an uber, just anything so that you don't give your money to these cheats. I had a reservation to go from JFK back to Philadelphia, but my flight back to JFK was delayed by 3 hours due to snow. As a result, I was put on a later shuttle than the one I had signed up for. When I spoke to them on the phone, they said that the shuttle would have to wait around in JFK for another 2 hours minimum to pick up all the customers. Joe, the manager, also told me that if I needed to get back home earlier, using an alternative method, he would refund my money. As a result I took an Uber back to Philly instead - I even have the receipt. An entire week of calls later, he pretends he did not know I took another way back home. He refuses to refund my ticket and said that I am wasting my time trying to get it back! The entire team at Super Trans is extremely rude and does not understand customer service. I have since made a Consumer Affairs complaint and posted on Philly's university facebook groups to avoid this company. Too bad Yelp compels me to give them a star. The worst experience ever, this was the first and last time we will use this shuttle and believe me I'm making sure I get the word out. Booked this for travel from JFK to Plymouth Meeting days prior to arriving. I was thrilled to hear they would have a car seat for my 8 month old baby at full adult cost and based on this went ahead with the booking. We arrived on time at JFK and called the service after clearing customs, however, we had to wait for 1 hour prior to the shuttle showing up even though they already had our flight details. That was just the start to a miserable experience. The van did not have a car seat and the extremely rude driver said he was not informed after which he kept trying to push me to sign a receipt charging full price for my baby. After 20 hours of flying time and multiple transits we just wanted to get home. They put my baby's life in danger by not providing a car seat and extremely reckless driving. The driver was an obnoxious old man, who was equally insulting to all passengers on board. I actually feel sorry for him and hope for the sake of his family and any potential friends he can change for the better, atleast this late in life. It took us 6 hours to be finally dropped off after circling and picking up passengers for 2 hours at JFK. The driver was speeding , taking bends at extremely high speed, making last minute swerves almost running into dividers and having all of us praying for our lives. The driver also almost left a passenger at the gas station even after he was told by other passengers they were on the way. I will not forgive myself for putting my baby's life in danger due to the deceitful practices of Super Trans and hope no other parents face this ordeal. What a great idea for transportation from JFK to Philly/suburbs, I hope someone else will start a service with good customer service and put Super Trans out of business. I would never wish for someone to lose their job but for the good of society and peoples safety I hope action will be taken. I booked a two-way trip from Philadelphia to JFK for my family (Two adults and one infant). We requested an infant seat and were assured that we would be at the airport within 3-3.5 hours of the pick up time. Our flight was set for 7:10 PM and the set pick up time of 11:30 AM was reasonable given the time frame. Early arrival was essential for as as we needed to make sure we get bulkhead seats for the long flight. The driver was on time for the pick up, but, despite our request to consider picking us up later in the route, we were only second to board the van. After that we proceeded to travel around greater Philadelphia area for two (2) hours, picking up multiple people and changing the route several times, due to driver being continuously redirected for different pick ups. By the time we headed towards the airport it was 1:30 PM. Several people on our ride had departure times of 5 and 5:30 PM, for which we were already late, considering long trip ahead. The driver did not acknowledge the fact that we were running late, and insisted on assuring everyone's timely arrival, despite the fact that we had to drop of one of the passengers at the Newark Airport. Needless to say, due to completely expected traffic and stopping by Newark Airport we did not arrive at JFK until 4:45 PM. Driver continued to be unapologetic and insisted on blaming the "unusually heavy traffic". Be that as it may, not including a safety time travel is inconsiderate to say the least. By the time we arrived at the counter, we were running late, and had to rush through the check in and security just to make the flight. I would not be surprised if other people did not make it at all. This level of service and complete lack of coordination and tardiness are unacceptable and I will not be using their service ever again, and would definitely not recommend their service to anyone. read more

I wish that I had read a review of this service before I'd booked a ride. It was the only name that came up on forums on getting to PHL from JFK so, naively, I reserved a seat. Although I was booked for a 4PM pick up time, they allowed me to board a shuttle at close to 1PM along with a Spanish speaking couple and their baby. The driver was very nice but he drove around the airport 3 or 4 times before he found a couple at T7 and then a pair of Haitian children and their grandmother at T8 (where they originally picked me up) that sat next to me. By this time it was feeling kind of crowded in there as the grandmother kept trying to pull the seat belt around both kids and hold it in place much to the dismay of the boy who at first starting wailing about it. Then he calmed down into a thrashing and fiddling pattern. Next, the driver went to EWR to pick up another passenger who sat in front. By now it was after 3PM. He dropped the same passenger off about 2 hours later at which point there was some discussion among passengers about how far that had taken us from where the other passengers needed to go. The mother in the back started asking for water to make powdered milk for her baby which the driver never stopped to pick up. For the next hour he spent dropping off the all the other passengers leaving only me, the first one on the bus! I stepped onto the PHL curb approximately 7:45PM. The Spanish speaking couple told me it should have only taken 2 hours to get to Philadelphia, without counting 5 drop-offs. It cost me $63 (I gave the driver what little cash I had over that amount because I felt a little sorry for him as he'd been driving since 6:30 that morning and he really was nice if fiery and I suspect the other pax gave him nothing) and nearly 8 hours of my day to take Super Trans. I prefer no star for this company. There is no reputation or customer service in this company. I called at 930 am for the next super trans from JFK to Philly. I successfully reserved one seat on the 1100 am super trans. At 1110 am, the shuttle arrived and i was told by the driver that there was no room for me and I should wait for the next super trans, which would arrive in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, there was still no car. I called and was told that next would arrive between 1230 to100 pm. I should take the 1100 am bus and in the end, I was asked to take 100 pm bus... What's more terrible, they didn't apologize. I didn't take the bus or the reply, the apologize I expected. I can't be more disappointed about this company. read more
