I reserved a 24 passenger mini bus for my wedding on Friday. The driver Hector was making me very nervous and anxious. We were picked up from Normandy Farm, Hotel and were to go directly to the Immaculate Conception Church in Jenkintown. A trip that should've only been 30 minutes. We didn't stop in front of the church until 2:46 PM. We boarded the bus at 2 PM. The driver took a really long way to get to the church. He got on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which added an additional 15 minutes to our trip. My photographer who was on board the bus at the time, I had told her she would have 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to meet with the groomsmen and take before pictures. She was rushing as much as we were by the time we got there, and as a result, she wasn't able to get any pictures of the groomsmen before the ceremony started. Had we been another minute or two late, the wedding coordinator at the church and the priest officiating us, would've been in full-blown panic mode. On our way to the reception at The Blue Bell Country Club, The driver got completely lost. He put in an address that was totally different than what I had provided. We ended up in front of somebody's house deep within the residential section. All the driver had to do was keep going straight once he got through security. Instead, he made a left turn onto a residential street and then ended up in some cul-de-sac. The driver didn't really make me feel like special at all. I was expecting a little bit more. I noticed there were LED lights in the bus, and I was hoping that we could play some music so we weren't just sitting there in silence between trips. It was pretty awkward. The driver also didn't get out of his seat to help any of us off the bus. To top things off, I told the company at least twice, That we only needed the 3-hour minimum. Then each confirmation receipt they sent back to me showed an additional hour tacked on. Were they trying to waste our time so they could charge us for an extra hour? If I ever use this company again, I would not want the same driver. Also, I probably would put out the extra money for a legitimate party bus. read more

Really wanted to like this company because they offer a shuttle service from NYC to the shore but after taking it multiple times last summer, I had such a bad experience I reverted back to driving / the train. On a trip Saturday morning from NYC to Margate, the bus broke down. They were completely uncommunicative with us and eventually the bus driver pulled off into an exit and parked in a empty lot. The company kept telling us the replacement bus was 10 minutes away but after over 90 MINUTES of sitting outside in a lot since the bus broke down, there was still no sign of a new bus and everyone just began getting $100 plus Ubers to our destination. After reaching out to the company about this, they refused to even offer us a refund for the bus ticket and were quite rude in all exchanges. Not worth the hassle. read more

I contracted with Park Avenue Limo weeks ago for a party bus and a luxury car for my son's wedding. Less than two days b4 the wedding Brianna "Vice President" (that's how she refers to herself) calls to say that the party bus is not available because it was in an accident 2 days before! She told me they can offer another type of bus but not a party bus. She said she looked within her preferred vendors but didn't find one. I asked her to help me search further but she said no, she wouldn't recommend other companies b/c she can't guarantee their reliability???? their reliability, really? When I said that to her she said "I can't believe you aren't more sympathetic for the bus that had the accident" yep. btw I actually was, but still needed the bus for the wedding. I spent 4 hours looking for another party bus when I was super busy with planning and settled for a lesser party bus b/c it was last minute. I asked Park Avenue Limo if they would give me a discount on the "luxury car" for all the inconvenience. They said flat out no. On the day of the wedding the driver of the "luxury car" arrived on time and told me he was at the front door of the hotel. We were running about 15 mins late but I had allowed some buffer. We get to the front of the hotel - no driver. He was at another hotel and took him 10-15 mins to get over to us. The luxury car was not what I expected. It was a Volvo, dirty on the outside with comfortable seating for only 3 guests if you are dressed up for a wedding. The backseat was small - we squeezed in for the ride to the church but the father of the bride got another ride from the church to the reception so we weren't cramped. The driver was a nice guy and did his best with the misinformation that he had. So beware - have a backup if you are planning an invent like a wedding where reliability and quality are super important and Uber isn't a backup. I put a review on google and right away Park seems to have posted a positive review and then commented back that it was my problem not theirs. This follows the same general theme. read more

I arraigned for a car to pick up my daughter who flew from Cal to Phl. International to come visit her dying grandfather, no ride waiting . I have used this company for five years, with only a few issues. My daughter called and said there was no driver, I called. I was told it was not in the system, and was asked did you get a receipt/ confirmation. That was the response. My reply was do you see my account and how often we use your service. I asked for a manager, the darling I was speaking to said she was the Vice President, and then she asked me when did you call time and time of day. She spoke to me like I was a child, after I told her when I called .... it was her. The smart mouth who didn't record the pick up. Apparently she doesn't care about her customers. I've been a customer who tips drivers above the included tip, even when the drivers are sub par. I will never use this company again. This happened to me in LA, the service I was dealing with apologized and had a vehicle their in 30 min. By the way it was only $60.00 for the airport car service to Bucks county. Wow what great service! Are flight got cancelled (group of 9) and we had to change flights. The new flight required us to leave 12 hours sooner. We wanted to hire a transportation service that was as local as possible and within our budget. We decided to utilize Park Avenue and had booked a 27 passenger mini bus (not a limo bus) to transport our wedding party & guests to and from the hotel to the country club (vice versa). Like most limo services, they required a minimum 3 hour package. So, we broke up the time into (2) 3-hr. packages (3:00pm-6:00pm & 10:00pm-1:00am). - Park Avenue Limo is listed on the National Limo Association website. -Adam Greene (General Manager) was professional and immediately responded to my initial inquiry and kept in contact with me within a timely manner throughout the process. - Park Avenue provided up-front quote with a flat rate (reasonable/competitive) and no hidden charges. I have used Park Avenue Limo twice. The first time was locally in Philadelphia to take clients to the Eagles Game. I am not from the area and needed transportation for airport transfers and the thrill of a limo for the game. Once I was connected with their reservation specialist Christina it was smooth sailing.
