After a verbal battle and 30 minutes of searching we took our shoes upfront to purchase and the line went down considerably. We did ask for help when we couldn't find a size we needed and one of the employees were super kind and helpful. The young man at the counter was super helpful trying to get me signed up for rewards to save myself 15% but it didn't work. No worries. Their prices were very reasonable.

We got stuck in there during a really bad thunder and lightening storm and my niece had to use the restroom so we had to get soaking wet to leave to use a restroom. They are busy busy busy. Not as many clothing items and all are at regular, full price. They have a nice array of shoes as well. I was greeted by multiple employees and got the help I needed from Tray. Since this is a regular store, they do not accept returns from the Nike outlet store, so keep that in consideration.

As with all continental bases, it consisted of two areas: a launch area and a control area. Here are the wonderful amenities at NP: * Restrooms with water fountains * Large playground * Skate/BMX park * Tennis courts * Picnic Tables with grills * Fishing Pier on Jones Creek * Nature trail * Mountain bike trail (the trail is about 2.5-miles but it's not a loop--you have to either turn around or follow the field out) * Softball/soccer fields * Basketball Courts * Senior Center * Recreation hall and multi-purpose room * Beautiful, old trees especially around the playground I had been to NP a couple of times, but I didn't realize the wonderful mountain bike trail, and the historic ties to the park. I will be taking my boys here soon to use the mountain bike trail, and check out the location of the underground missile magazines. NP is a wonderful park to visit, and so many things to do. We had not used it and attempted to return it (folded, stickers and tags still attached) only to be met with a strong "no, you're not allowed". We had bought it the day before and had the receipt which clearly states that returns are allowed within 30 days. On top of this when we checked out we requested to split the payment down the middle (so we could pay half-half) and the lady at the counter said yes, but when he put his card onto the machine it paid the full amount. Actually my hubby kept our two boys outside juggling and eating ice cream while I took our 3yo girl in with me. The women at Mango's were not only lovely to me, but very sweet with my daughter. They gave her something to play with, were happy to chat with her and let me take my time deciding. I finally decided on a silver beaded necklace with silver charm-and i love it. I checked out a number of shops in Duck and was sorely disappointed. Most shirts were $20+ and/or had really lame designs. This shop allows you to pick a shirt of any color, choose your design, and have it imprinted...all for $11! The process only takes a few minutes. The owner was also super friendly and helpful in choosing the right combinations. I can't recommend this place enough!

(I hung both items back up neatly so it's not that i made a mess.) I didn't buy anything. In contrast, I got a lovely greeting at Donna Designs (and bought earrings), and struck up conversations with the staff at Outer Barks (bought a harness for my dog, and a T-shirt), as well as at Amity and Allie June (did not buy anything, but took their business card). I think I looked as well-dressed as the other customers at Barr-ee so maybe the staffer disliked my hat? My linen slacks? Too bad. I might've bought something but will not plan to be back. Have never before felt this level of suspicion in 20 years of coming to OBX. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
