Called beforehand to ask if they had my glove weight in stock in their low price gloves. I was told they did so I took my bus to the store just for the guy to tell me somebody had come in and bought the last pair. Had he told me there was only one pair left I would have asked to put them on hold since I'm a commuter and was on the way. Tried to save the loss with a purchase of the knockoff hello kitty handwraps but the quality is not consistent at all and the print is messed up and stained as soon as I unrolled my new hand tapes. Store is really beautiful and easy to shop but my experience was just not stellar by any means.

Best place to buy everything you need for fight time and love all the t-shirts and shorts. Jesse is amazing and always helpful when I come in.

Title: A Nightmare Return Policy Experience - Unfair and Customer-Unfriendly! Rating: (1 star) I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a SUPERARE FIGHT SHOP that boasts one of the worst return policies I have ever encountered. It became evident that the company's return policy was designed to give them an upper hand, leaving customers feeling frustrated, deceived, and ultimately stuck with unwanted products. First and foremost, the company's return policy was excessively strict and inflexible. It seemed as if their primary goal was to discourage customers from returning items altogether. They imposed a ridiculously short return window, making it nearly impossible to thoroughly evaluate a product and decide whether it met expectations or not. By the time I realized the item was defective, I had already missed the return deadline, leaving me stuck with a useless product and a dent in my wallet. To add insult to injury, the company also imposed exorbitant restocking fees. It felt like they were trying to punish customers for their dissatisfaction or for simply changing their minds. These fees were not only unreasonable but also completely unjustified, as they did not accurately reflect the actual costs incurred by the company for processing the return. It was clear that their intention was to dissuade customers from returning items, rather than providing a fair and customer-friendly experience. Furthermore, the return process itself was a convoluted and time-consuming ordeal. The company required me to jump through multiple hoops and an unreasonable amount of time for their approval. It was evident that they were intentionally making the process arduous and inconvenient, hoping that customers would simply give up and accept their losses. Lastly, the communication and customer service surrounding the return policy were abysmal. The company showed a complete lack of empathy and understanding towards customers' concerns. Their representatives were unhelpful, dismissive, and even downright rude, leaving me feeling devalued and unheard. It was clear that the company prioritized profit over customer satisfaction, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. In conclusion, this company's return policy is nothing short of a nightmare PLUS NO SUPPORT FOR MILITARY VETERANS / MILITARY DIIt is customer-unfriendly, unfair, and designed to take advantage of unsuspecting buyers. The strict return window, excessive restocking fees, convoluted process, and poor customer service all contribute to a dreadful experience that no customer should have to endure. I strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before purchasing from this company, as their return policy is a reflection of their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. Here is a response from the business owner after waiting for more than 30 days for an email. Now he is making an attempt of customer service but sir Zachary, I still waiting for a professional email from your company by email. My email is: Semper.fuerte0325@gmail.com

This is by far my favorite shop! From the limited edition fight gear designs, to the nods to nerd culture, I will definitely be a repeat customer! We were promptly helped and all of my questions were patient answered as I was able to try rhe fit of various gear and tops. Definitely going to be a regular!

Dylan and Jesse are the guys to go to for anything boxing gear related. Straight to the point and no salesy talk, they're there to answer any questions you have and throw out recommendations for what they believe is good gear. Incredibly refreshing since even though they carry their own gear but they don't have an ego and try to push it on anybody that their stuff is the only thing to get. That being said, their gear is VERY good. One of the happiest purchases I've ever made and Dylan made sure I was happy as hell with what I got by letting me try on everything. I will definitely be back.

Highly recommend this shop for all your fighting needs and for cool shirts and gear. The friendliest, knowledgeable staff and really awesome designs. Came here to strictly pick up their wraps because they're such good quality. It was a quick in and out. Dylan was by himself helping fit a client for gloves and seamlessly assisted us as well. He was super friendly and attentive to us, while making sure the first client got the customer service he needed. He was so laidback and great, that a beanie caught my eye as I left. He told me to ask if I needed any other help and I just love friendly staff so I wandered around the store and fell in love with their super cool shirt designs and tried some on. Ended up leaving with 2 shirts and a beanie on top of the wraps. I was sad one shirt just went out of stock but Dylan assured me it would be in stock again soon. Always a fun great experience in here, even if I don't buy anything. They are so helpful and I am willing to make the drive out to LA for them anytime!

So while I was out in LA, decided to check out Superare Fight Goods! It was my first time being in the store and its a beautiful store. Jesse helped me check out some cool T-Shirts and tank tops. Definitely had to purchase a T-Shirt as a souvenir and I can tell this is a heaven for fighters looking for some fight gear as well. Highly recommend this store!

Gloves and shin guards are great. Comparable to top name brands. Finish and quality look amazing.

Like that the store had clear COVID safety protocols to limit # of people inside at once and required disinfecting of hands as soon as you walk in since one of the biggest benefits of going to a fight goods store in person is to be able to try on gear. Good selection of quality gear from other brands as well as their own bespoke brand. They had sub-$100 gloves up to top end Winnings. I found the prices were comparable to online retailers for the same products, and it was much nicer to be able to see them in person and try them on vs ordering online and hoping they would fit me. (Note: I specified quality gear as they don't carry the super mass produced bargain fitness gloves....if that's what you're looking for, stick to Walmart or target and good luck not having your hands get destroyed while you train.) They also have a cool selection of collaboration clothing if you're looking for something a little more unique. Staff is friendly and helpful; I've interacted with Alex and Jesse. They are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and allowed me to try as many pairs of gloves and diff weights as I wanted while helping advise me on gloves to consider based on my needs and budget range. Would definitely recommend stopping by the store and shopping in person if you're in the LA area, or they have an online shop too.

You won't get the vibe Superare has at any other fight shop, which are notoriously utilitarian and uninspiring. Dylan, the owner, has a background in high-end luxury retail, which is reflected in the store's well-curated inventory and strategic visual merchandising. From the seemingly endless rows of rainbow-colored gloves to the wall of unique graphic tees (most of which are designed in-house) to the constant fight footage projected on the wall, the place can fuel a kid-in-a-candy-store response in anyone, whether you're a seasoned MMA practitioner or random passerby. They really stress transparency and competitive pricing; after shopping around, I've found many of their products carry little to no markup. It's also nice to be guaranteed what you're buying is legit, and to be able to walk right out of the store with it and not be waiting weeks on end for international shipping. Their in-house brand of gear (gloves, shin guards, shorts, etc) are all also super high quality and used by big-time fighters, celebrities, and beyond. I've gotten pretty much all of my Muay Thai gear here, including limited edition Fairtex gloves, Hayabusa shorts, wraps, etc. It's hard to stop yourself from coming back and constantly buying more; they keep stocking new stuff and exclusive collabs and it's annoying. I've gotten to know the staff there well (hi Kenji, Julian, Gene, Dylan) and they're all friendly, well-versed, skilled fighters themselves. They also hold great relationships with much of the martial arts community in LA, so Superare has easily become the go-to spot to get gear. Don't bother going elsewhere.

They used to have separate stores for men and women, not sure if that's still a thing but it made it easier to browse depending on your style preferences. I've sold here plenty of times, and the commission is fair for what you're getting. The shopping experience is smooth, and the store offers a great mix of authentic, pre owned designer pieces. Most recently, I received an Officine Générale turtleneck that had been described as being in "Very Good" condition. It arrived with significant pilling, appeared dirty, and smelled strongly of cheap women's perfume. It was not remotely consistent with the condition advertised. What happened next was even more troubling. I contacted Customer Service expecting a straightforward acknowledgment and resolution. Instead, I received responses that repeatedly failed to address the actual issue being raised. The conversation devolved into a discussion about whether I would accept compensation based on the purchase price of the item, despite my making it abundantly clear that I had no interest in keeping it at any price. The concern was misrepresentation and quality control. I cannot recall another customer service interaction that felt this tone deaf. As someone who has worked with major organizations, including Apple and Spectrum, on matters involving customer experience and communication, I can honestly say I will use this exchange as an example of exactly what not to do. Customers understand that mistakes happen. What they do not forget is being ignored when they clearly articulate a legitimate concern. My concerns extend beyond this single transaction. As a consignor, I have increasingly questioned whether the standards applied to sellers are consistent or fair. A pair of Tod's loafers yielded a net payout to me of just $9.72. A brand-new pair of Theory shoes, still in the box with tags and obviously never worn, was graded only as "Good" condition and generated a payout of $7.00. The RealReal positions itself as a luxury marketplace. Luxury is not just a logo or a price point. It is attention to detail, thoughtful service, accurate representation, and respect for both buyers and consignors. Unfortunately, this experience failed on every one of those measures. Mistakes happen. Indifference should not.

Does Flirt Clothing live up to its name?…read more If you're expecting an inanimate building to ask your name and number, then no. And if you're expecting the employees to ask you "come here often?" before motioning the barkeep to bring you another of whatever you're having, then still, NO. Or maybe yes. Just not with me. Pffft. The clothes are definitely fun and flirty, though -- if you wear them. Flirt is the typical Melrose kitsch store -- one-offs and private labels abound. Not too many jean choices (mostly charcoal gray), and not that many T-shirts, but the ones they have will have you going gaga, lady. What's a boy like me doing reviewing an exclusively girl's store? Well, I have no intention of wearing that off-the-shoulder blouse or sundress (hmm... with the right belt and handbag, I -- nevermind), but the store is definitely a pleasant place, even if you're just waiting on girls to finish trying things on. You can stand there awkwardly listening to the early 1990s era boombox that's pumping out KISS FM all day (Lil Wayne seems determined to make me his fan), or check yourself out in the mirrors on the wall. "Oh you are quite the looker, aren't you..." Anyway, speaking of incredible, psychologically unhealthy narcissism (or not, whatever), the pink-curtained dressing rooms have matching pink folding chairs -- everything in the store has either touches or tons of pink, which sounds like a Hello Kitty nightmare but is actually kind of cute in a flamingo-pecked-my-eyes-out way. When you try things on, it's with a soft background of Pepto Bismo, but it does make that hotgasmic pair of koolats stand out in palatial, plaid glory. Sweet Heavens, but you're beautiful. Now close your curtain -- that weird tattoo guy with his tattooier girlfriend can see your thong. Hey, the stuff you're trying on is on sale, too! At least a fourth of the store is half off, so you'll have more money left over to blow on things like shoes, handbags, and rent. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful -- they'll make useful suggestions that aren't lame attempts at plus-selling. Flirt Clothing does lose one star because they forgot to remove a security tag on a $240 hobo bag. Now I'm going to have to come back tomorrow -- with receipt -- to have them remove it because SOMEBODY'S too busy (*cough* gainfully employed) to do so herself. I'm going to play like it's mine. It looks cuter on me anyway :-)

I bought a beautiful purple scarf with brown leopard spots on it the other day. The material was like that of a soft sweater. It was only $19.00. I could've gotten a better deal on it if I bargained with the lady there, but I didn't since the price was already low. Also, she was nice and showed me how to tie it since I wasn't sure how to wear it. I always leave scarves untied up until now. She showed me and it was easier than it I thought it would be. I really appreciated that. Also, it was great that she could actually break a $100.00 bill. Some places can't. If you're not familair with the area, you might not know that due to lots of competition, sometimes the shop owner or manager will give you a discount on clothes and other items if you ask them for one. Sometimes they are so eager to sell, they just offer you a good deal. I didn't want to appear cheap though, so I didn't bother asking. It was also nice that she didn't bug me or follow me around like a lot of the shop employees tend to do sometimes. This is a great place and I'll come back here next time I'm in LA.
