She gave me a true trim (not like some places where a trim is 7 inches off the bottom!) and thinned my hair exactly as I asked. I asked the receptionist three times - between asking on the phone , asking when confirming and the day we arrived - what the " price " would be. They are shady and have always been shady when it comes to switching things up on you without telling you. I was told we were both booked with level 1 hairstylists. That my daughter would be $25 and I would be anywhere from $35-$70. I said what determines the price of mine , I was told " difficulty" of desired cut. I said ok well I just want a trim - 2-3in cut - nothing else. They said ok so it should be on the lower end but you'll be told by the stylist if it's not. We both get our hair done. He added face framing which isn't really my cup of tea , and my daughter got a simple trim of 2 in taken off. We go to check out- our total is $90. So I ask for a price breakdown- my daughter was charged $35 - I said I thought kid cuts are $25 , and I was told they are allowed so much " wiggle room " from the " guaranteed " price . Which then meant mine was $55. Because of this I left no tip- what I was anticipating leaving as a tip they charged me , so I felt bad but it was just another reminder why we no longer come here.

She rejected my requests because she did not have enough time for me, even though she explicitly stated she would at the time the appointment was set, or because there are extra costs, even though I had already agreed to paying them. On top of this, the color noticeably faded after the first wash, which was 4 days after the service. I paid about $120. This includes the extra $25 for toner. What I received does not look like balayage to me. I have chunky highlights on top, and the remaining 3/4 looks about the same because she re-bleached my previous balayage but somehow it barely lifted. This could be due to the fact that my hair was dyed black years ago but she also didn't ask about previous work I had done. The placement is very sporadic and "crazy" as she put it. The original price for this according to Groupon was almost $200. She was also rude and spent time trying to debate about everything I asked for instead of using that time to make sure I was getting my desired look. She reiterated that if I didn't like it I could come back at a later date. Why not just put in the effort to get it right the first time? I ended up using a semi permanent color for the time being until I have it redone. Only because yelp is asking, the vibes were wrong. I'm done with Groupon.

The pricing is great for the quality of service and product that you get. They have a bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and immediately greet you with such joy. It was my first time there so i took the next available stylist and there was no wait. My two boys were getting haircuts and they were very fast. They asked me what I wanted and then they did their thing. Again, they were so fast. They don't check with you to see if you like the end result so I made sure to let them know I wanted my kids hair shorter and the stylist went ahead and cut it shorter. One of my kids hair looks good. The other is a little choppy but it was $6. I'm okay with it. You get what you pay for. I did leave a tip for both stylist and left. They take credit cards with a $20 min transaction, so do plan accordingly. Fast and simple service. I'm from out of state if not this would be my kids haircut place. It's so cheap.
