Danato took his time in explaining the entire process to me before starting the treatment, which included multiple cleansing washes accompanied by steam throughout. He finished the treatment off with a bouncy blowout. I have thick and coarse caucasian/asian hair, and he was incredibly patient and enthusiastic in creating the look that I wanted. The whole experience was relaxing and pleasant from start to finish. Danato was very attentive, polite and detail-oriented. I would highly recommend him for a hair spa treatment or blowout!

Got a long bob with, albeit, layers... some of the bangs cut dried and curl into my nose. Again, it's part bad ask and bad haircut. The stylist was working with me and tried to achieve what I was asking for, I just wish there was a bit more conversation about how to achieve what I want. Instead, I was impressed with how the stylist reiterated the hair cut back to me in bullet note like fashion, but it didn't initiate more conversation but instead felt like a: I'm telling you what I'm doing so if you dislike it in the end, it's your fault not mine. Giving 4 stars because I only had the stylist the one time! Don't knock this place until you try it, but this was my experience. I'm posting some reference pics along with my haircut. Then this last visit I showed her a photo of what I wanted - a very blunt shoulder length bob. Pretty simple. I was there 20 minutes tops and wasn't shown the back with a mirror, and when I got home and looked with my own mirror, I found the cut was uneven, angled, and longer at the front. Sure it looked nice after being blow dried, and I typically play around with my hair afterwards to to be sure the cut flows nicely, but I felt uncomfortably rushed with her standing at the register waiting for me. The floor should also be swept between each client. That was definitely my last visit there.

I want to give 5 stars but I also felt misled simply because a good chunk of my length was lost from this and it was not worth the price paid for. It does not sit well with me. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because the way my ends were cut were chopped off. They weren't trimmed. They were just chopped off. That'd be okay if I weren't charged $400. $400 charge was to maintain my length, but wasn't. UPDATE: Edited mine to 4 stars because I really do love the color. Sam did an amazing job with my color. Hopefully I can get my ends fixed though! After washing my hair, my color still comes out beautiful. Photo is posted.

I went in with an appointment when it was opened and it does get busy fast so even though they do welcome walk-ins, I suggest making an appointment or calling ahead. I called to make a last minute appointment and Dana graciously invited me to come in so she could assess my hair and recommend the best option for my thick, straight Japanese hair. I was looking for volume with defined curls, and she suggested an airwave perm, which ended up being the perfect choice. I was given a wonderful shampoo and conditioning by a kind employee. Following the wash, Dana gave me a quick trim to add some layers and remove bulk from my one-length cut, and then really got to work. About 2.5 hours later, I walked out of the salon with beautiful, bouncy curls that looked just like the reference photos I brought in. Even better, I was told the perm should last about a year with proper care, which makes it totally worth it. I was also provided some fantastic Japanese hair serum, which was so kind and appreciated! The entire team was attentive, kind, professional, and made the experience so enjoyable. I highly recommend Beautiful Cuts and will absolutely be back!

When I got to the salon, she was in the middle of cutting another patrons' hair. I waited about 10 minutes before the gentleman washed my hair. Dana is very quick, from start to finish I was done in 30 minutes. She styled my hair at the end so I didn't notice the rushed work. After washing my hair, I noticed the jagged layers that don't fall right on one side. I wanted a simple cut with layers... I guess I will be wearing my hair up until it grows out. Unfortunately don't think I'll be back to this salon.
