I got my hair done by Ali, while my mum and my bridesmaids got their hair done by the other stylists and all of the ladies did a great job on all of our hair. In fact, I was so happy with Ali's job on my hair, that I returned last week to have her cut my hair before I move across the continent to Alaska. Again, she amazed me with how well she knew what would be best for me! I love it and any time I return to visit my husband's family, I know where one of my stops will be! ^_^

I originally went to this salon for a facial because it is an Aveda salon, so you can imagine how saddened I was not to get any points for that $90 package. I will add that Kathie Lee, the aesthetican who did my facial is very talky. I wanted a quiet experience, which did not happen, even after a request. As for nails, I have gotten gel manicures there as well. They only have a small amount of choices for gel, and I began bringing in my own. If you want a red, pink or nude they have them, but I am more for the purples and glitter. The manicures were done well, quickly, and with great products. I recommend them to anyone! As for hair, I had color and cut done here as well, and while it was costly, it did not strike me as being worth it. My permanent color still faded quickly (I always get red, and it lasts about 6 weeks), and my cut did not seem any better than I could get at a local Supercuts for $40 less. Generally, this salon is a good place to go for nails or speciality hair treatments like highlights or extensions. But the facials and haircuts just did not 'Wow' me. The staff is friendly and the place is lovely, but it just does not make up for the cost.

By this time I already had my next appointment with a reputable salon in March. And he gave me short. I saw this at the salon but i didn't mind to much cuz I knew they would grow in a month or so and it would be fine. The worst part is what I noticed at home. I tried to pull my hair up in a pony tail and noticed I had all this SIDE hair that was cut and couldn't be pulled into a pony tail! It's horrible!! Just horrible. I look like i got gum stuck in my hair and had to cut it out. Because he ended up cutting my actual side hair, my bangs are extra thick, so I also have to use bobby pins to pull back my side hair that got turned into bangs. It's going to take a long time for my actual side hair to grow back to were I can put it into a ponytail and not look messed up. I can't over look this.Again, I ONLY asked for my bangs to be cut. He ended up cutting my actual SIDE HAIR!!! On both sides!! I didn't even notice at all while at the salon that he was cutting more then just bangs, or else I would of instantly stopped him! I can't remember his name. I know he was a young guy. Needless to say I will never get my hair cut here again. I feel like I've been let down by a lot of hair stylists here in Camden De. I'm glad we're moving back to my home town because I've never had so much trouble with hairstylists
