Worst haircut I've gotten in years. The woman cutting my hair must have been hard of hearing or just ignoring everything I said. I wanted an inch of a the top of my head, I had about 3-4 inches of hair, I am left with no more than a half inch. She might have well buzzed my hair completely off. Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with Stacy for the first time. She was so kind and really listened to what I needed as I am not blessed in the hair department. This morning when I got up, I was shocked that my hair actually looked cute and healthy for the first time in months. I was there at almost closing time too. Used to go to this one frequently, as i had time in my work schedule to get there. There used to be quite a " Chatty Cathy" who warbled about her personal life while hair- cutting. After all night binges losing keys, waking up in piles of junk food bags was not off the list for this professional. As my schedule had became tighter i wound doing what some guys do : trim my own. You've been there. It's because it's time- efficient. Last time i was there was a new cast of clipping characters. The lass who cut my hair did not agree with my " excuse" for not getting over there & broadcasted that i was " cheap". "Cheap". As i always do she was tipped v well. That was last time going there. The Mens' Product Selection is Very Good, & Well- Stocked! Who needs to be shamed like that? Got a Kid Cut there? Don't subject your kid to that whatsoever if you love your child! My kid said they hurt his head with the clipper (side). And they cut the top looked like layers didn't even attempt to blend it for a simple fade! read more

This supercuts treated my elderly mother just right, paying close attention to her needs and following through. Most of the haircutters are inexperienced, use electric trimmers, and scalp the bejeezus off their clients' heads so be careful. The turnover of hairstylists is high which tells you something. Prices are cheap and parking is in a big enough lot. Be careful leaving the lot as Morrissey Boulevard is very busy and the cars drive fast. Make an appointment over the phone to save wait time. read more

It is a Sunday so I called this Supercuts for an appointment on Monday However you can not make appointments here a day before because the girls says that their computers would not allow for this. I really do not care being a male it takes about 5 minutes to cut my hair and I can get it cut anywhere. But if you have a business where the help is not qualified to make an appointment for the next day. Then what makes you think they are qualified to cut your hair, especially if you are female. Supercuts is like the McDonalds of the hair styling industry. Although, "styling" may be pushing it a little too far. I have a regular place that I go to but I just didn't feel like making the trip. So I opted for Supercuts at the last minute. Now don't get me wrong. I don't have much hair to style. Mostly bald except for my hair on the sides and back. My head that is, not my body. LOL The only good thing was that there wasn't a long wait. The stylist asked what I wanted done. Come on now.....what options are available with so little hair. Maybe I should have requested extensions. I was going to give a rating of 1 star but boosted it to 2 since she trimmed my eyebrows. read more

Always friendly staff at this location. I only really go this place for a cut. Sitara is the only person that cut my hair. I am kind of picky on how I like my hair. She always listen and has the skills to give you a fresh cut. I'm pretty sure the other staff can cut hair too. Not everyone knows, how to cut asian hair and its hard to find asian people that can fade. Sitara can basically do all this for me. I would recommend this place read more

This review is for my haircut with Pam on September 12, 2015: Lifesaver. I had the worst haircut of my life the day before using a Groupon (never again) at... am I allowed to disparage other places in reviews? Just to be safe we'll say starts with an "L" ends with an "eeba Salon on Summer Street". Don't go there. Back to Pam: I came in desperate, hoping there would be some way to even out my already fairly short haircut without losing too much length. Pam did that, in about 5 minutes at a fraction of the cost I paid the day before at the other not-to-be-named poor excuse of a salon. In addition to making me feel okay about being in public again she also provided a sympathetic ear. I plan on going back to her again because the cut was exactly what I had originally wanted, and it was only $16.95. Everyone else who was there getting more extensive services done also looked amazing. They know what they're doing here. Go here! read more

The young woman who cut her hair was so friendly and really took the time to make sure she knew what my sister wanted. Had a terrible experience last week. Went in with a picture of what I wanted told the girl I wanted bangs. She said "no " seriously she said she would not give me bangs! I should have gotten up and left but I was so shocked. She proceeded to tell me that she will only trim my hair. She was definitely new to the hair industry. My biggest regret was that I didn't walk out. The cut was so uneven. Not a place I'll return to. read more

I had a wash cut and blow dry for $55 (i have long hair), and before i went in I've had so many bad experience where the hair dresser would either cut too much off or cut it a style i didnt want. I came in and HILLARY seated me. She asked me carefully what I wished to get done and did just that! She told me my ends were very damaged which i knew, but was too nervous getting too much cut off again but she trimmed my layers just right and the blow dry was was amazing. I've never loved me hair this much! I am still letting my bangs grow back from previous accident (I burnt my hair in the oven=( ) but as soon as my bangs grow back in I am definitely going back for another cut and style! read more

I'm in love with Supercuts! Davina is my stylist of choice to tame my naturally coarse mane. She also magically maneuvers her fingers through my 7 and 15 year old daughter's heads and much to my surprise the baby doesn't shed a tear. The prices are unbeatable and I'm usually in and out in 1.5 hours. read more

Needed a relatively cheap haircut and so I called this place on a Sunday to see what the prices are and how busy it'd be. $17 for an adult haircut without tip, which isn't that bad. I think I had a lady named Sitara who was very friendly and explained what possible haircuts I could end up having. As a guy, I know a very limited amount of terms so she was very helpful in describing what tools were available. I'm relatively new to town and so finding this place with decent service relieves me. I'm very likely to come back for future haircuts. I'd like to give this a 3.5 but sadly that doesn't exist. I think the only thing preventing it from bumping it to a 4 is the price, which is average/expected. read more

I love the staff at Supercuts. The stylists are excellent. There is one that is best with my hair and that is Hermenia, she is super talented with the scissors and does a great job using products in your hair. I never thought this was a thing until I had her. She takes the time to really push and pull the products through your hair and it makes a big difference in how long the blow dry lasts. She also takes her time when blow drying and really styles your hair. I always get compliments on my hair looks after she does it. My issue is the app and the calling in for an appointment system. It just doesn't work. They "put you in for 4:00, you're all set" and when I arrive at 3:55, I am not acknowledged until 4:05. Then I am told that "someone who was here before you even got here is having a cut and then you're next." There needs to be a better system so that when you have an appointment, you have some assurance that your stylist will not be taking someone right before you get there. If I wasn't so busy with 2 small children maybe this wouldn't bother me but the reason I make an appointment is so I don't waste time sitting. The manager there is new at being a manager, so when she communicates about it there is a certain something in her tone that doesn't sit right either, like she isn't apologetic for keeping you waiting. Called beforehand for a cut and color (highlights in particular). Woman on the phone said yes, this would be fine, so I made an appointment for that day. I go in later and meet the hairstylist, who at first says they can do what I'd wanted. She then flip flops over what to do with my hair and doesn't give a straight answer to any of my questions and asks me to come back another day (why?). I say no, since I get like one day off every month and wouldn't really have time to come back, so I just resign myself to a very easy all-over color. I pick a color and she says yes we can do that (great!) but then goes back and forth four times to her boss for like 20 minutes. She says they've "run out of the color" and they "have very limited colors" and I'm thinking, okay, why did you tell me over the phone that this was something you could do? Honestly, unless you're looking for a very simple trim, avoid this place. Not professional at all. read more

This place sux! I took my children there, the first time the lady messed up my kids' hair so bad. I can tell you that one side is longer than the other. Today, my husband took our son there again and he came home with a bleeding ear. Not only that his hair was messed up as well. I can do a better cut myself to be honest. I can't believe my husband still tip the girl. I guess I can't blame anyone but my husband, but please don't take your children there!!! They will messed your children's hair up! I was coming here for the past almost 2 years. But after making a 1:00 apt, arriving at 12:30 and walking out at 1:20. Today is my last time, it's a repeated pattern of making a appointment then not having the time they sat. People walking in who had made 115 online were going before be, seems like a bad system at 1 point I saw 3 out of the 4 stylist with no clients and no one seemed to be in any hurry to help anyone at the door. Amazing service. Never waited longer than 15 minutes. I've been coming here for about 2-3 years for just hair cuts and I've never been disappointed. I've brought family members like my sister, baby cousin and elderly aunt and they love it just as much as I do. The employees really offer great customer service and are very attentive to detail. I've been to this place about a half a dozen times and every time claim they thought they knew what they were doing, screw up my hair, make me pay $180 and then I have to go to another salon to get it fixed. If you need hair color, color correction, highlights, or anything at all, DO NOT go here, it is awful and they do not care at all how they do your hair as long as they get the money out of it. I'm calling the manager today to get my money back because every experience I have had there is awful. read more

I've gone to this Supercuts for years now, and for cuts/styles, they're really good. However, I do NOT recommend coming here for hair dying. I've gotten my hair dyed twice here, and both times the color came out different than expected. The first time I asked for a brown-to-blonde ombre. The colors were fine but the blonde was not faded into the brown much at all. I was a bit disappointed that the colors weren't blended together very well, but my hair still looked okay. The second and most recent time was when I request a rose gold blonde. If you google "rose gold blonde" you'll see it's a color that is a blushy-pink blonde. I received a deep, auburn red. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I was told the color was going to fade into the rose gold I had requested, but instead it has faded into an orangish-brown. I'm not getting my hair dyed here again. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I hate this salon, because they do an absolutely amazing job cutting/styling hair! They just clearly do not have a team that is experienced in dying hair and so for that reason I will not get my hair dyed here again. read more
