Staff is friendly, place is very clean. My only concern is that they only have 2 people working in the evening (well every time I've been at least.) So if both are doing a hair cut it can take a while to get in and get something quick like eyebrows. But the price is great and I will continue to keep coming back. read more

I have to say that I have had such a great experience with Sophia. I have short hair and most places I go to, I have to return back to get the back cut down and cleaned up afterwards. With Sophia she has been able to put what she has done to my hair in the system and the next time I go in she can refer to that. She leaves my hair just right. She does a great job cleaning up afterwards and is great at making recommendations and suggestions to go with my cut and face shape. You can see it when she works on your hair and greets customers that she loves what she is doing. She is not just robotically cutting your hair, done and next. She takes her time to ensure she is leaving her signature mark. It is a rare find. Especially for this price point. Much success to Sophia. Keep up the good work. You are an artist. I have been to other SuperCuts but this is one of the best in town. Prices are reasonable, customer service is great. People are friendly. The salon is clean. They are located in the Vineyard Plaza in Escondido. So even if you did not make an appointment and they are busy with a filled lobby, they can schedule you in and give you an estimate of when you are up next. So you can go next door to get your eyebrows done, go grab a Starbucks drink, go shopping at Albertson's, Home Depot, Walmart, go eat at Popeyes, Submarina, Del Taco, get your car filled with gas, go get Ice Cream at La Michoacana, go get a phone at MetroPCS, go to the bank, are just a few things you can do while you wait your turn to come up. You no longer have to just sit and wait inside, which is the cool thing, for your turn to come up. It makes it go by so much faster. Some times I take my recycling and go to the nearest recycling center and then after done there return back. There is plenty of parking. read more

I'm very impressed with this place ! It's truly a hidden treasure! I get my hair done by Mariah, and she is awesome ! I can't thank her enough ! I've been dying my hair back from black to my natural blonde color,and she has kept my hair healthy and lightened it so quickly! If I would have gone to a salon they would have charged me 4 times as much and would have damaged my hair. If you are dying your hair you must see Mariah !!! My hair is actually thicker, healthier, and softer than when I started going a few months ago. Mariah really knows her stuff, and cares about your hair. She makes sure to do exactly what you ask while still keeping it healthy. She also gives great hair cuts. I haven't let anyone cut my hair in 5 years, and I let her. She's great!! Kind of a funny location - I have had my hair cut here at least four times this year, never have I seen the same people working here. In any case, the cuts are always good, so they seem to hire the right kind of people and train them well. I enjoy the conversations with the stylists, most of whom are local and have grown up in the area and stayed in the area. That adds a sense of community and makes me feel at home as opposed to just having my hair cut at some chain. I like this place -- good people, convenient location and a good cut (at least in my experience). read more

Rude and inconsiderate! I made an appointment instead of walking in because I have a 2 month old and she eats on a schedule. It's hard enough to get out of the house on time with a baby but I made it on time for my 2:45 appointment. When I got there the two stylist were mid appointment with their customers they said I would be seen shortly but clearly not by them. At 3pm a very large and out of breath red head comes through they door clearly running late. After waiting 10 more minutes watching her pace back and worth I finally gave up and let one of the other stylists know I could not stay, she shrugged her shoulders and sarcastically said sorry. My husband got a nice trim by Samantha. I, however went there at 4:30 yesterday and didn't see anyone inside as I parked. I went inside and heard talking in the back. I waited and waited. I could see them moving around through the 2 way mirror to back room, but they weren't paying attention to who came in. I gave up and left. You lost my business. Bummer. read more

I spent two hours there. There was no line. The single employee was cutting a kids hair when I arrived. She told me she'd be right with me. An hour and fifteen minutes later she was ready to cut my hair. I have simple hair. I've never had a haircut take more than 15 minutes. It took her 45 minutes. I told her that there was notes in the computer on my hair. Then she kept asking me questions that were in the notes. She asked me twice if I wanted the back rounded or squared. By this point I didn't care. By the, it was in the notes. I answered rounded twice, then, right before she cut she said, "squared, right? " for real?! We all have bad days, don't let it affect your work. I will never let that girl cut my hair again. The only reason I didn't give it only 1 star was because I've been to other supercuts that did a good job. read more

I usually like a clean "military" style haircut, because that's how I had to have it in the Marines. And they can do that and more. I have been here the last 3-4 years and everything and everyone has been wonderful. One day someone offered to trim my eyebrows and I said yes. I never thought about trimming or waxing my eyebrows and, as a straight male I didn't think I ever needed that but, when they did it I felt really great. I didn't think my eyebrows would make such a big difference. read more

The lady that cut my hair messed up, I told her the way I wanted my hair to come out but it didn't. She didn't take her time and I was the only one inside the store getting a hair cut. When I had walked in I was waiting at least 10 mins. Because they were in the back talking, I had to shout out so they knew I was there. read more

This is the most unprofessional "salon" I have ever been to. Coming here was a last resort due to Summer heat and extremely long hair for my girls. I was specific on the length for my girls because I did not want them to go too short- my biggest fear coming to a place like this. My first red flag should have been the lack there of professional appearance and the staff's main focus being their own conversations versus the customers in front of them. As they are getting their haircut, the employee stops to go eat something and comes back to resume cutting hair. Who does that?! The stylists are talking among themselves saying things like calling each other "stupid." I understand that it may not be a big deal but with little kids around perhaps they should act appropriately. I asked the girls match similarly in layers. The first stylist I asked the second to refer to, says "o I didn't even ask her what she wanted, I'm just cutting as I go without a pattern." I am RIGHT here and can hear it all. Super unprofessional. Upon my second daughter being done, her hair was far shorter than I requested! Extremely disappointed and disgusted with this "salon." Needless to say, I will never use another Supercuts again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. read more
