Went for color, not great experience…read more Can't remember the name of the girl I went to, but I specifically asked for someone that has experience highlighting dark Asian hair, it pulls very brassy when hair is bleached. Anyway the colorist they gave me had little experience overall bc she was young and ended up toning my hair about 3-4 times that visit. She was apologetic but that doesn't fix the damage done. I cannot recommend nor would I go back.

Anyway, my mother came with me and showed her some of the ideas from photos and after she looked at my head she was like a Leonardo Da Vinci at work sculpting away at a masterpiece. Talk about a master at work!! I had an extreme makeover and it matched the shape of head/face. Vita is great!!! Thanks and I'll be back for more services. Then... I was turned over to an amazing colorist "Marilyn" and she helped rock my look right out of the ballpark! This place is amazing and I'm happy they are so great at their craft!! She was putting a lot of pressure on me about this, and although, my hair is suffering from the effects of an overactive thyroid, I felt it was a conflict of interest. Especially because all the product in the world is not really going to fix hair that has been breaking due to a thyroid issue. I did indicate several times I had no interest in the products, then I bought one hoping she would give it a rest, but it had the opposite effect. This place is a bit further away from my part-time residence, but Cathy has been very nice to me, even though she knows my hair is not on the best shape. She is also A LOT less expensive than my old place, and she isn't pushy about hair products either. I find it much more relaxing to go to someone so nice and low-key. She said, "In this business, you pretty much have to give the customers what they want." I believe this to be true in any business, but it was nice to hear someone take a customer friendly attitude. Especially, because, like most people, sometimes I have gotten a cut that was not what I was expecting. She really seems knowledgeable. It's also a smaller shop and I rather prefer that to a giant salon. If you are near this area I would recommend giving this place a try. It is sort of hard to find as the strip mall iis set back from the road, but after you find it, it's worth it. :)

Under Deb's care my hair color is amazing and the cut is just incredible. I have difficult hair due to a lot of cowlicks that have a mind of their own. Deb figured it out and worked WITH the cowlicks and the style is just perfect. I have had numerous compliments in the past week about the color and the cut.
