It's not that the staff at those places lack skills, it's just a barber has different skills. I'm becoming more discerning, you see, distinguished you might even say. Or I guess that's the hope. I tried another place a few times before making an appointment here, and am I ever glad I did. Part of what makes a barber special is that they'll take a straight razor to the back of your neck, making things oh so neat. But sitting in this chair was the first time anyone said, "well, your hair does this cowlick thing in the back here, so let me shape it based on that." !!! It's possible all the others over the years had also seen the cowlick and just not commented on it, but that attention to detail, a detail specific to me and my head, is what has made this my new go-to.

Where do I begin? We had scheduled an appointment for 3 of us (3 pedicures, 2 fills, and one gel…read moremanicure) and when we got there, there were only 2 technicians. I didn't think this was an issue at the time. My mother and I were sat in pedicure chairs while my sister got her nails done first. My mother's pedicure took an hour and forty minutes (for a pretty routine pedicure) which meant I was sitting, soaking my feet for an hour and 40 minutes with no service. Finally I got my own pedicure done (again, a basic pedicure) and it was nothing to write home about, I still had dead skin left on my feet when it was all said and done. When I finally got to sit for my nails, I chose a simple dip powder refill. I've gotten my nails done in dip powder multiple times so I know that every time you get them filled, the technician starts from scratch. She did not. There was powder left from the time before (it was lime green, I can still see it) and the original tips were left on. By the time she put the clear coat on I could see every little scratch the rotary file had left on the nail and I was not happy. She offered to do a gel coat on top for free which I accepted. Fast forward 2 days, all of my gel coat came off. What was left was a matte black scratched mess. The day after, 2 of my nails broke which would not have happened if she started from scratch because I have never had a dip powder set break on me. The day after my nails broke, my mother's gel polish started popping off. Unacceptable. In summary, the quality of services rendered is subpar, the prices for these services are much higher than anywhere else, AND I was charged for removal (which is essential to the service) which has never happened before either. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous too, I can't think of a single person who would want to sit at a nail salon for 4 hours. Save yourself time, money, frustration, and dissatisfaction and do not go to this salon.

I recently tried to cut my own hair into a long bob and while not terrible, it wasn't great either. I booked an appointment with James to get it fixed and I fell in love with him and everyone else at Bii! He was super, super sweet and helpful and gave me a great cut. I was also really impressed with the girl at the front desk, Delaney. She was very sweet and actually gave me a paraffin dip while James finished with another customer (even though the wait really wasn't that long.) It was super thoughtful and a great add-on to the experience. While I was sitting with my hands in the baggies, another stylist, Adam, came over to introduce himself. Many salons feel unwelcoming and Bii could not be more opposite. From the service to the use of eco friendly products that didn't aggravate my asthma, my experience truly could not have been better. I booked my next cut before I left and I can't wait to go back! :)

They made another appointment for me 3 months in advanced ,they did not send me any reminders for my appointment so I could have rescheduled it so I didn't have to miss my appointment . I was out off country with my mother in Mexico and the appointment was on the day we returned so they charged my credit card without my permission for the full amount of my service $107.00. when I called they told me They did this because I missed my appointment. When my daughter was about 17 and decided she was bored with her beautiful dark honey blonde hair and wanted to try going platinum blonde, with a kit at home....it didn't go well. She was truly despondent. I told her we'd go to my friend Denise, she's GREAT with color. It took all afternoon, but Denise knew what to do and when we left, my daughter's hair looked absolutely beautiful. My daughter was SO happy. I was "mother of the bride" last June but the wedding wasn't local, it was near Kansas City. I thought what am I going to do without Denise to make my hair perfect? We started a few months before the wedding, working on color and highlights primarily and then the perfect cut. I went in about a week before leaving for KC for touch ups and tips on how to style my hair myself. Most weddings have something that doesn't "go right", but not my hair. It was perfect. Anyway, my mother came with me and showed her some of the ideas from photos and after she looked at my head she was like a Leonardo Da Vinci at work sculpting away at a masterpiece.
