Update-as an update to my recent negative review I would like to share that the franchise owner called me and expressed a personal apology for the rude behavior I experienced 1/24. He was very supportive and genuine and I deeply appreciate his apology. I accepted his apology and told him that I visited one of the other locations he owns and he and the stylist, Denver, has earned a repeat customer as she was amazing. I have been searching salons to find someone for my 4 year old son's haircuts, and on a whim called here today and got in fairly quickly with Tanner. Hands down, the best little boys haircut EVER. He took such good care of my son, took the time to actually do a good quality cut, was caring, kind, and clearly very good at his job. He is very detail oriented and I really appreciated that. This is great salon!! It's super convenient location on 86th is a bonus. They have an app that you can check on that makes your wait pretty much nothing. All the stylists are great - but I have to give a giant shout out to both Stormi and Libbie. Their styles are completely different from each other - but I love them both equally! Libbie does an AWESOME job of colouring my hair - she works with my hair to accomplish exactly what I'm looking for. My wife, daughter, and I were looking to get our first haircut since doing our own at home during quarantine. Typically, we go to a local chain store near to our house. On this particular day, they weren't able to fit us into the schedule so we decided to try to Supercuts. We are very glad that we did. They were able to make an appointment for us right when we called. When we arrived, they had a spot waiting for us. Plus, they were able to take the other two of us as walkins. Alt quickly gave me a buzz cut of the perfect length. Than at sprang into action; shampooing and cutting my daughter's hair with speed and skill. Shelby advised my wife on some potential styles /products and delivered a satisfying cut, style, and shampoo. She clearly enjoys her work. Along with everything else, the store was super-clean and clearly observed social distancing and CDC health guidelines. We will definitely return. read more

I came to this location after getting a horrible color job done somewhere else. The girls were quick to look at it and reassure me that it could be fixed. Jessica quickly went to work and began to do what she could to salvage my hair. By the time I left she had made my hair look more natural, healthy and I was happy with the results. I came back for the second set of lightening and despite being short staffed Jessica and Stormi continued to joke around with me and reassure me that they had time to do my hair and to make me comfortable. I have been bringing my kids here for awhile and I knew they did a wonderful job but in this case they went above and beyond. I will be coming back to them over and over and would recommend them to anyone. read more

I love the Johnston office! The staff is very friendly, provide great haircuts and there are always coupons to use. I've been getting my haircut at Supercuts in Johnston for around 3 months now. Being in the military I have to get my haircut frequently, typically a fresh haircut every week. The staff there is great and they do offer a military discount. I personally recommend Libbie/LIbby not sure the correct spelling of her name. She's very nice and always cuts my hair how I ask her to (I've had bad experiences with barbers at other salons cutting my hair too short). The store is always very clean and I've never had an issue with waiting, I'm in and out in about 10 minutes! read more

I'm giving this location 2 stars, because I had a bad experience. I showed the stylist a picture and explained the style I'd like to see on me (knowing that I'm NOT going to get exactly what I want), and my hair was butchered. 3 inches shorter than where I specified, about 2 inches shorter on one side than the other, and above the ear layers....when I specifically stated I'd like long layers. I didn't notice the unevenness until I got home, and had to go immediately back to have that issue resolved. She evened it out, however, now my hair was 5 inches shorter than where I specified. And to top it off, all I got for my troubles was a 2 dollar off coupon for my NEXT visit. As if that's ever going to happen. The ONLY reason I'm giving this place 2 stars, is because the gal who cut my hair was friendly and because it was a nice facility. Base on haircut alone, I wouldn't be able to rate it. read more

They are professional and everyone is very friendly. They remember exactly how you enjoy your haircut, so you never have to remind them.
