She did a fabulous repair job on my unfortunate mullet and made me so happy with the sweet things she said about my curls. This review is for my stylist Sheila and the friendly staff at Keaau Supercuts. Backstory I had received a bad cut from a stylist from another Supercuts location (Hilo). I booked another appointment the same day with this location (Keaau) and explained what happened. My stylist and the other staff members were so kind and quick to take my information and give it to their district manager. My stylist, Sheila, was able to fix my hair and gave a polished/finished look. I am very happy with my hair now and am so grateful for the friendly and kind staff. They were great at keeping up conversation. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and have a good relationship with their co-workers, the vibe was so nice ... can't say the same thing about my first stylist of the day. (This happened on 11/25/25) As you can see in the first photos, the haircut I received was blunt and choppy. The finished look left my hair feeling nice and bouncy and feeling good about myself. Thank you to the Keaau Supercuts staff you really saved me that day! (Not sure why the photos posted out of order) I will be writing a review for the stylist who did my hair on the appropriate Supercuts location - but fair warning don't let Kris from the Hilo location do your hair. read more

My family also comes to her to do their hair. Recently, I treated myself and booked a TEATREE Experience, the head massage, awakening of my scalp felt amazing!!! It was a Super Busy Sunday and my hair was looking way to shaggy to go back to work on Monday. So, I casually walked in a salon looking for a quick haircut. The stylist at the counter advised me that they were accommodating their appointments first and didn't have any walk-in availability at the time. I was understanding and then I remembered the SuperCuts Super App. Most locations were fully booked for the day. Hoping that lady luck was on my side, I found an opening late afternoon. Later that day, when I came back for my appointment everyone was still super busy, the store was full of clients, and I waited outside hoping I would still have my appointment. I waited for a few more minutes outside and was about to call it a day, shaggy hair and all. As I was getting ready to leave, a stylist saw me outside and walked outside to see if I had an appointment. I replied I did, explaining I tried earlier as a walk-in and understood if I had to reschedule. The stylist invited me in with an Aloha smile and vibe was grooving with some good music. Explaining I was looking for a short-clean-cut hairstyle, quick and easy. Michelle was professional, kind, and quick with the scissors giving me a refreshing cut boosting my self-esteem for another Manic Monday. This was Super Service with a Super Cut above the rest. Went in for a quick trim. Nani cut my hair in about 5 minutes with the personality of a wet paper towel. Wasn't a great cut but I'm not hairdresser and blamed myself for not communicating better. At the register i tapped with a debit card but didn't hear the "beep" that it had gone through. I told Nani this however she handed me a receipt and told me it had gone through. I gave her a $5 cash tip because I always tip. So I start getting phone calls from an unknown number. It's Nani... Come to find out the debit transaction didn't go through. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience. OK cool I'll pay you... when I get paid. Soon after this i go to keaau to buy groceries for me and my kiddo. Low and behold Nani and the manager have tracked me down outside of the grocery store. I'm quite a friendly person and greeted them happily. The manager looks like a nervous librarian so obviously this is becoming a situation.. . I tried to explained the circumstances leading up to this ,, again I'll be happy to pay when I get paid. The hesitate manager wanted to know how I had bought groceries and I told her ebt(none her business and still no apology). She seemed uncomfortable with the situation but remained quite after this. At this point Nani told me she was going to call the police. We'll ok then, that escalated quickly.. I told her go for it, please do, because im.done with this insane situation.... she then pretends to call the police while the "manager" ushered her back towards supercuts. Terrible haircut. So bad the guy just charged me $5. Totally chopped off my bangs without asking. So bad I ended my Yelp hiatus and decided to reuse this account to write this review. I'll never visit this location again and I hope I can avoid Supercuts altogether now. I made it very clear that I was growing all my hair out one length and only wanted 1/2 inch cut. We went here quite often to get our hair cut, but this recent trip (it will be the last) was just awful. Nani was rude to us so we asked for the manager/supervisors information (she refused to give it to us) and denied to cut our son's hair. Then hid in the back and supposedly called her supervisor Milani who as well didn't give a care in the world and told Nani to tell the others there to not cut their hair, luckily there was another kind lady there who was nice enough to help us, and the barber there also was nice about it. Due to them not caring, We ended up contacting corporate/headquarters to make a report as well. Would not recommend going there, also telling our family & friends to avoid this location. read more

Super stoked on my sons haircut. I called about half hour before arriving to see if they could fit us in, they did and we were helped as soon as we arrived. Asked for a traditional fade starting with a 2 then leaving some length at the top. I didn't get the stylists name but she was petite and soft spoken. Thank you. This is my sons first fade, normally we've stuck to scissors because he's very ticklish lol. But today, he did great. And the stylist did a great job. I made an appointment, which was pushed back 45 min, which I understood, because there was only one person working. I was happy with the overall service, but the haircut ended up being very expensive. I understood the haircut and the price for the Tea Tree Treatment, but wasn't told the 5 minute hairdrying would be an extra 40$, which I agreed to. I was charged for long hair hair drying, which was 40$, and the hairstyle was short. spent over 100$ for a haircut. I won't be going back. read more

I had an appointment with Patti. When I came for my 11:00am she was working on a mans hair so I waited for her to finish. After she finished she called up the guy next to me. I was okay as he was probably waiting a while. Next thing you know it is 45 mins after when my appointment was set and she takes ANOTHER man and then tells me that another worker can cut my hair even though I made an appointment with HER. I don't know what kind of training these people go through, but listening to the customer isn't in their skill set. It seems like getting your haircut nowadays isn't about recivIng quality service, but more about how bad are they going to fuck it up. Made an appointment here, and showed up 5 minutes before my scheduled time after rescheduling my day to work around it. They check me in and say they'll be right with me. I waited for half an hour past my scheduled time. In the mean time they take two other people who walked in without an appointment. They say NOTHING about my appointment, or running behind or anything. read more

The girls here really friendly and helped my bf get the aloha style hair cut fast and no appt needed! I bought a couple products for my hair. "It's a 10" hair product best ever I have used helped my hair from the Hawaiian water and deranged my hair. I would record to stop here for a quick haircut if your in the area:)! read more

If you want good, courteous customer service, do NOT go here. We had an appointment for our 2 grandsons to get their hair cut. We arrived early, 11:30 to be exact. 2 girls working. 1 was cutting hair while the other one chatted with her. I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged. There was 1 person ahead of us. No problem. 1st girl finished the haircut & went into the back to wash her hair. 2nd girl followed her & chatted, about 10 min. We've now been there 30 min. They finally come out, take the woman waiting. Another man comes in & they take him! We are still waiting. It was over an hour before the first child was called for his haircut. 10 minutes later, he is finished & there is hair all over his face & neck. She didn't brush the hair off, no hot towel. In the meantime, customers keep coming in & they send them away with an unrealistic time to be back. 2 more employees come in. The one goes right to work cutting hair. The other one, after clocking in, just stands at the register chatting with the 1st 2 girls. The second child finally gets his haircut. It is 1:30 when we are finished. 2 hours to get 2 buzz cuts WITH an appointment. The employees seem to think this is a social club, not a place of business. I don't care how long the boys' hair gets, I will NEVER go back there. Absolutely the worst service ever! read more

Horrible hair cut.. I asked for a fullhawk with a taper on the side and the back.. and mess it all up the top was uneven who knows what it was one side was longer than the other and the fades are left with a huge ass line.. OMG!! I love my new hair style. I would like to thank Duchess for doing an excellent job on cutting and giving me red highlights. It looks like an ombre, but Duchess just did highlights. I been to Regis the day before and they didn't do a thing for me.....I still looked the same and was charged $32. All of the stylists at Supercuts are super nice and they know exactly how you want to look. I will never go to any other place again. read more

Exceptional service. The ladies at this location listen, take their time and apply exceptional skill in everything they do. They have been able to treat and repair the dye job gone wrong from another place effectively and efficiently. I highly recommend any of the women at the Keaau Supercuts, especially Patty.
