I called ahead to ask if they offer detangling service because a small section of my bleached hair became severely matted after swimming in both the ocean and chlorinated pool and despite trying to detangle it myself with my own products, I couldn't get the knots out. The woman I spoke with told me they could fit me in that same day at 5:30 p.m. and explained that the charge would be $35 per 30 minutes. When I arrived, it turned out she was the stylist who helped me. She patiently worked through the matting before closing time at 7:00 p.m. and was able to save my long hair with relatively little damage or cutting. The only hair that needed to be cut were two small rope-like knots to help separate them. I was incredibly grateful for her patience, skill, and care. Went in for a haircut for my sibling. Andy, Tracy both don't know what and how to organize their haircuts all Andy does is stand around and makes like he is busy. We waited for 1 hour for haircut and he just stood around and did nothing. Isaiah was very helpful and was fully attentional and worked on haircuts while Andy and Tracy did nothing but sweep the floor together. Like Andy holding the dust pan and Tracy sweeping???! Sweeping hair while everyone is waiting must be a 2 man job... I had an appointment for my 4 year old son at 130pm today with the next available person. Because we were in the area, we decided to eat lunch at pandas. We ended up finishing around 1ish. So we decided to sit in Supercuts. We waited patiently. Andy, Tracey & Isaiah were the there cutting hair.. Once Isaiah was finished he immediately walked to the back. Then Andy finished & took the guy that was sitting. The same thing with Tracey. 115pm came & Andy was just finishing up that person. So I told my son that he'll be up next.. Once Andy was done, he swept the floor & walked to the back. Not telling us nothing. Mind you we weren't even acknowledge when we entered the store. 120 came & I texted my husband that Andy was walking the store doing absolutely shit. His station was already clean & he's like going back & forth to it. Then I over heard Tracey tell him that he's leaving soon.. Andy mentions about a 130pm appointment and blah blah blah then walks right to the back again. Tracey is almost done with that person she's with & it's about 125pm. My husband walks into the store & we're just watching this clown Andy walking around. Another guy walks in & Andy says, "she'll be right with you". 130pm comes & I'm like okay, are they gonna take my son now. Still nothing. Tracey is literally sweeping hair & Andy comes & hold the dustpan. I tell my husband I guess it's a 2 man job to hold the dustpan & sweep. It was crazy. I was mind blown from these people. Tracey then called the guy that came in after us. & that's when I said forget this piece of shit place. My son actually had the patience to wait & they did this to him. Such a shame. Before we walked out, I told Tracey to cancel my appointment because 130 is 130. & she just looked at me, not giving one shit. It was like they were happy that we left. On the other hand, I've heard that ANDY HAD LEFT WORK EARLY BECAUSE HE HAD PERSONAL FAMILY PROBLEMS & HAD TO CATCH A FLIGHT. this is coming from Isaiah. & that he had a bad day. I really like my haircut from Clare! I have done nothing nice to my hair for just about the last 6 months. Due to the Virus, I have working from home, and not really leaving at all. So my poor hair has been ONLY going straight up in a bun! I have gone to Supercuts all over, and love a quick cut. I have not gone to the Lihue location before, so this was my first time. I booked a same day appointment using the Supercuts website. Clare took me in a few min early which was nice. She was very clean and sanitized the entire area, even offering me hand sanitizer. Everyone in the shop was wearing masks. It seemed to be extremely clean and sanitary. She was very nice and polite. She did an excellent cut and it was exactly what I was looking for. But later patrons started to trickle in. I got sat promptly. The stylist (Clare) I got didn't seem friendly, I'm thinking...um ok. But she gave me a good cut and did what I asked. So I was happy. I just needed a haircut, but she didn't blow dry my wet hair at the end so I left the shop with wet hair. She just said "ok, you're done" and removed the cape. Dropped by here on my way home to Oahu. I had a few hours before my flight and decided to check out the new outlet mall in Lihue. Just so happened the Supercuts was open and I really needed a cut so I stopped by. This was around 1pm so it wasn't that busy and I just waited for about 5 min before it was my turn. The stylist was sweet and did a good job on my haircut. I didn't get her name but she was petite and wore glasses. There were two other stylists that day. Terrible!! Wow so terrible! I went today at 5pm (they close at 6pm) and I was turned away one full hour before they closed because they were "too busy" to take me. No one was in there waiting and it appeared that they could have taken me right away... But the rude staff told me "we are busy" - but all the staff was doing was texting on their phones. But this time this other lady cut my hair and my "bangs" now look like a bowl cut. I can't even call it bangs because she literally took half of my front hair and just chopped it off. I finally needed a cut so bad, I nervously decided to give Super Cuts a try. Man, the two stylists have given me solid cuts, and they have been friendly and professional as well. Of course, you cannot beat the prices, but that is the one thing that I anticipated. It is the quality that will keep me coming back.
