I went to Supercuts for the first time ever today. I wasn't sure as I've heard mixed reviews about other locations. Luckily, I had Justin cut my hair. Definitely the best cut I've ever had in Sarasota. In addition to having mad skills, he takes his time and listens. I told him what I wanted, he threw out a couple other ideas, and the result was perfect. I plan to go back and send my friends. Cool guy too. read more

Went in for a trim, which was needed last minute before an event. I didn't know there were only two people who worked there and one (the one who started my cut) was very much a student. She cut my hair a child would, just straight along the bottom. Only wet the ends of my hair. After she hacked all along my hair, she called the other stylist over and told her she didn't know what to do. The other stylist seemed to know what she was doing as far as sectioning my hair, but NOT about thinning or adding texture to my hair. I left feeling like a child who got a bad haircut from their mom. I went here based off of a glance at Google reviews and I should have checked Yelp first. LESSON LEARNED. read more

This is my first review. Cannot believe I actually would like to waste time on writing reviews. But anyway I do NOT recommend this store especially a stylist named Mimi. She is incompetent and cannot perform her work well. She just follows whatever you told her and didn't think how to make your hair style beautiful. I agree it's important to ask what customers want but more importantly it is necessary to think and put all requests together to come up with a style that looks beautiful and stunning. And that's why we need professional barbers to cut the hair for customers! For sure, we pay for the service but that also includes your intelligential properties! It was only my first time at Super Cuts. This was some of the worst service ever. They choped off 8 inch of my hair even though I asked for 3. Additionally, a few days later, my head started itching from lice. It was a severe case because I unfortnaly had to cut off almost all my hair which was already pretty much gone because of supercuts. They had some of the worst service and if I could give them a 0 star rating I would. Please do not waste your time at this awful, unwelcoming, and rude serviced place. Hope this helped. read more

Woke up and just decided it was time for a haircut. The receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were accepting walk-ins, so I was on my way. I expected a decent haircut for such a reasonable price (my hair is straight as a pin, so I've never done too much)... but CAN I TELL YOU, I got 5 star treatment. My hair stylist, Heather, gave me a haircut I didn't know I was looking for! I feel like a new woman, lol. When washing my hair, Heather let me know my very long (and in my opinion scraggly) hair was soaking up a lot of conditioner- AKA super dry. I trusted her to cut it all off to a healthy length, I needed it. My other request was that I wanted a swoop bang I had rocked like, 15 years ago.. all I could find was a blurry FB picture. She worked her magic, cutting it shorter when asked, and asking for feedback til it got to the perfect "swoop". I had a stressful few years and my hair had reflected it when I walked in; I walked out with healthy locks and felt like a million bucks. I'm so happy with my haircut!!! I'll definitely be back. With her 25+years of expertise with men's hair, she skillfully made quick work of removing 4 inches of growth from a thinning hair line and a scalp riddled with cowlicks to produce one of the best hair cuts that I have had in several years. read more

Stopped in while we were on vacation to get both kids hair cuts. We didn't have time to do it before vacation. We got in and out very quickly and both kids looked great! Negative one stars. Whoever owns this place needs to talk to the stylist(s) that were working 2/24 in the afternoon/evening. I got out of work at 5:30pm, 'checked in' online, showing that there was 0min of waiting time. Well that's because the doors were locked and no one was inside. I got there at about 5:40pm, lights all on, just completely empty. Waited for about 20min, called and got no response. Was told that 'she' does this all the time, just locks the door and leaves during store hours, no sign on the door, nothing. Super disappointing, not great customer service! read more

Sonia cuts and colors my hair. She is fantastic!! The cut and color are exactly what I request. And she is very friendly and attentive. Why go to a salon that is super expensive when you can get excellent service at great prices? I was very unhappy with the cuts I was getting in NYC which is my permanent residence. Now that I found Sonia, I plan on flying down to our house in Siesta Key more often to get my cut/color and enjoy the beach. read more

Excellent! Sweetest stylists. Wonderful job. I went here late in the evening and they were still very welcoming and polite. The work was amazing ! I went from long hair to an asymmetrical, inverted bob, with a stack. It looks perfect! Best salon i have gone to. I was very pleasantly surprised and will be a regular. I highly recommend them to everyone. I watched them do two male haircuts while i waited. They were perfectly blended and well done as well. My sons and husband will be visiting them soon. read more

We walked in and there was a lady cutting someone's hair so we understood and sat to wait our turn. 10 min later the lady is just talking away with the costumer and we had to leave the store because it was ridiculous how we weren't even greeted in 10 min or told that we would be helped soon or something.
