This place offers connivence at a great price. I have been coming here for a few years and it really depends on who you have as a stylist that day. It's usually hit or miss but the good thing is you can always go back within a week to fix or redo a cut. Once I realized only a few of the stylist there are consistent, you can call ahead and request them specifically. Janice is by far the best stylist and you can tell she actually cares about how your hair looks. She pays attention to the small details and knows what's she's doing. She's very friendly and talkative which is much better than having someone who's just there to cut hair. Some of the girls are not very good at styling or talking which defeats the purpose. If you go there regularly , you should get how it works by now, find someone who's good and always call ahead. read more

This was the worst haircut experience I could ever imagine! I took my 7 year old daughter for her first real haircut, she was very excited. She has thick wavy hair, and the woman sat her down, starts spraying her hair with a little water and then tries brushing it. She was getting knots and my daughter said ow! I said to her can you put some detangler in? She has waivy hair. So the woman said she's done. She cuts the hair then starts blow drying it. I said are you going to wash it? She goes it's another $10 so I said of course that's fine. She take her to the sink, turns on the water high and my daughter yelled ow that's hot so the woman said sorry. She then turns it off and later back on shooting out hard and my daughter yelled that's cold! The woman said sorry. She then takes the smock of my daughter with her hair soaking wet and my daughter says her dress is now all wet. I said can you dry it? So she walks over to the chair, while my daughter is standing she blow dried it for 30 seconds, the hair was flying everywhere and my daughter said now my hairs all messy. The woman looks at me and says ok thank you. I felt her hair and said it's still wet can you dry it more? So while my daughter is standing behind the chair she proceeds to dry it another 30 seconds and says ok done. My daughter said but can she style it? I was so disgusted with this place I didn't even want to ask the woman working her. I could not pay me to return here. I am so upset my daughter's first hair cut experience was ruined. We went here a few times after moving to the area for my sons haircut. The staff isn't trained and my son always got cuts on his neck. Last visit, the cut was so bad he was bleeding. The stylist was probably new since she had to ask the other stylist and had no clue what to do. Not sure if they even had proper antiseptic. They did put a bandaid thankfully. The haircut was all uneven and when I pointed that out she had to ask other stylist to correct it. They still charged for the haircut. Needless to say, never going back. read more

Never coming here again. I was in a pinch and they did not pull through. I went for a wash and a trim with a face frame that I have been getting for years. The lady messed this up last time as well and managed to give me uneven layers instead. Today they put an excessive amount of shampoo in my hair, scrubbed nicely but then didn't rinse it out properly. She proceeded to not put conditioner in and bring me to the chair with shampoo still in my hair. She starts to brush it and make a rude comment on how badly I need conditioner. Instead of taking me back to the sink to properly wash my hair she put an excessive amount of leave in into my hair. I checked my hair and again it was layers and not face frame like I had asked for. I had to go home and re-wash my hair. I have never had such an experience before but will not be returning here. read more

I took my son to this location for the first time. The barber didn't do a very good job. We just wanted a basic cut but he didn't trim enough off the front and he didn't do a very even job on the back, sides and top. Either he was poorly trained or he just didn't care. Needless to say I will not return. read more

I've been coming here for a few years for regular haircuts, and always had at minimum a decent/good experience. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. After a very positive experience today, I felt compelled to write this review as I felt the location deserves higher than the current star rating. This week I got a haircut from one of the staff members I never had worked with before; they did things slightly differently than I'm used to, and I probably didn't explain myself as well as I could have, but I'm not one to complain or say I'm not happy, so I finished up the haircut and left. Once I got home, my wife immediately told me the haircut wasn't flattering. I lasted about a day before I knew I needed to get it fixed. I called today and asked if I'd be able to come in and get the cut adjusted. They immediately said it wouldn't be an issue and that if I'm not satisfied, they will do whatever they can to fix things, free of charge. When I arrived, one of the managers (I think her name was Katelyn) took care of me, helped me figured out what I needed to fix, and did a fantastic job. She knew exactly what I was looking for and executed perfectly. Once everything was fixed I wanted to compensate them but they assured me that the fix was 100% free and no payment was necessary. Fantastic customer service; anyone can make a mistake / not do the job perfectly the first time, but having great customer service really makes the difference. read more

I've been going to this Supercuts for at least 5 years and the staff has always been welcoming, friendly, fast and most importantly usually very good at giving haircuts. It's inexpensive and quick (most days and times). Almost all of the stylists are friendly and great at their jobs but I want to mention that Jamiee, who cut my hair today was really friendly, skilled and fast! Great job.. (the Supercuts in Livingston is pretty great too, not sure about others in the area). read more

The person cutting my hair did not listen to me at all. I had just dyed my hair and told her to layer and shorten it then she goes ahead and shaves it all off. She didn't even make sure that's what I wanted she just did it. I will never be returning here. Get you haircut here at your own risk. read more

You get what you pay for... Super Cuts is probably the cheapest place around. I've gotten my hair cut there a lot, the positives are obviously that it's cheap (under $20 I think) and that you don't need an appointment. Negatives... usually have to wait for a little while and they play loud pop music the whole time you are in there (which annoys me, you might like it). If you call ahead (like even just 15 minutes) that can save you some wait time. I wouldn't say that you'll get a bad haircut here, more like you aren't sure what you'll get. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes I get home and realize something isn't quite right, so you really have to check thoroughly yourself before leaving. read more

This location is absolutely horrible! This was my 5th visit there - every time thinking the next visit will be better but it has always been the same. Staff is super mean. As soon as you enter the shop you can tell the staff are feeling miserable just to be working there. And guess what - they will take out their misery on your hair. Absolutely no interest to hear how you want your hair done. They will just run the machine and get you off the seat in 2 minutes. Wonder how they are still in business with such poor service. This was my first experience of getting a haircut done from Supercuts (728 Morris Ave branch) - In spite of having booked an appointment well in advance, I was made to wait. After about 10 mins of waiting, a disinterested lady arrived who finished my haircut in about 5-7 mins with just the machine. No use of scissors for shaping and leveling the hair..just mere moving of the machine and done. When I tried asking to level the hair, the lady responsible avoided and started chatting with the next customer and ran to the till to bill me. I am not visiting SUPERCUTS again! Men should go here who are bald for their touch up. Or Men who want a summer buzz cut. Or children who need a haircut. Everyone else should probably pay a little more...and go somewhere else. Some of the stylists I think can only cut with clippers. I have gone in there when there was only 1 cutter and a line of people. read more

This was a terrible experience for me! I had a minimal wait time, but I didn't even get my hair washed! I thought it was a good cut when I left, but I wasn't sure because they didn't even wash it or blow it out all the way. Plus, they advertise like mad that give you a free hot towel. Website said 0 min wait. Checked in online. Got there, place had a 25 min wait. Worker said, "shouldn't be too long for you b/c you checked in online." I said, "how long?" and she said, "10-15 minutes." I walked out after 25 min. I don't understand why businesses lie like that. read more

This was the worst ever salon experience my eight year old son has had! Apparently a newly trained / apprentice was given charge of my son's lovely locks. She was painfully slow and even after my explicit instructions to the kind of style I wanted, she made three unsuccessful attempts and didn't even get close. My son steadily kept slouching down the chair, tired of trying to accommodate to her pace and was in tears after forty minutes of the "stylist's" groping with his hair. What was worse - none of the other senior staff around came to his rescue till I gently expressed my desire to abandon the hair cut - and even then all I got was a frown as if I was wasting there time. The lady who took over showed no empathy at all to my son's tears and all he got was a firm "what's wrong" from her!! Let alone a child, this experience would have tested endurance of an adult. I would challenge any of the Supercuts staff to put their own child through this predicament. I gave this one star since my daughter got a decent cut. Overall - rude and in considerate staff with no sense whatsoever of dealing with kids and making clients feel worthless. read more

They really messed up badly. i asked for one thing and they didn't give me it. i don't feel like going into details but basically i asked for a fade and they didn't give me one. they also took way too much off the top when most places would actually take off less than you asked because a customer could decide that very short hair doesn't look good on them. But instead of taking off less or what i asked, they took off more. i abandoned the idea of them giving me a fade mid haircut because i was afraid that they would mess it up so bad that it wouldn't be fixable at another haircut place. Their waiting room is terrible because there is a baby toy and 1 or 2 magazines that i don't even want to read. most places at least have a tv but instead they decide to cover their walls in 20 different types of the same anti frizz cream. there is nothing enjoyable so i think that ill be willing to pay $2 at a haircut place that actually puts effort into your haircut. there are plenty of local barbershops that have good prices and some have even better prices if you just want to have a touch up here and there. read more
