If anything it is the opposite and has a more "homey" mom and pop business feel to it. I can't comment on other stylists, but my color by Lyndsey was a horrible experience and I'm still…read morepaying the price. I showed her several pictures of what I wanted and by the time I was done and nearly 200 dollars later I was shocked. After she spun me around I really hated my hair and in the most direct way I could, I don't like conflict, my words and the look on my face communicated my shock. I truly looked like I did in junior high when I did a miss clairol on myself. She offered to have me come back in a few days if it didn't "tone down" and after 4 washes, it was still this pinky-red chemical looking color with very dark roots (I did not ask for a ballyage, btw). When I came back a few days later, not only did Lyndsey not apologize for getting it really, really wrong (again, nothing like the pictures I showed her), she doubled down trying to tell me that what she did was correct, etc. Here I'll mention that the second try, exactly like the first try, consistnetly involved really painful pulling and detangling. I've never had a hair cut or color so painful. She continuously apologized for hurting me ("sorry, I know this hurts") but never stopped hurting me! I'll also add that the second time (supposedly the "correction"), just like the first time, I also left with a solid wring of fake color around my hairline and a couple of inches into my face. I was desperately hopeing the second time she'd correct what I left with the first time, but again, I left with an extremely fake, brassy color that I hated, that I didn't request *(again after more pictures beforehand that were ignored completely) and no apology for this nightmare. Finally, my hair is now extremely brittle in a way it's never been, I assume because of the two color treatments nearly back to back. I'm going somewhere else to have my shoulder length hair cut short I still hate it so much. I'm heartbroken. My hair is usually one of the things I like about my appearance and I dread seeing it in the mirror. Other stylists here might be great, I can't speak to that. But do not get services from Lyndsey.

I decided after work, on a whim, to get a cut right then, and I was glad they made it happen for me here same day. The front desk was very nice and my stylist Mona was as well. She is very talented and I told her 2 things, layers and face frame, and she delivered, no pics and no explanation necessary. Couldn't be happier and my hair feels so healthy and bouncy. My one and only suggestion is that you Guys put in some coat and bag hangers for customers/clients to hang their things up. Thank you, will for-sure come back for more.
