Supergood has a serious issue with favoritism at the corporate level. Instead of recognizing and rewarding hard-working, competent employees, decisions are often made based on personal biases and office politics. If you don't fit a certain mold or personality type, it doesn't matter how well you do your job--you'll be overlooked or mistreated.
The company allows toxic work environments to persist across multiple locations, and rather than addressing the core issues, they often shift blame onto employees who are trying their best. Roughly half of the HR department seems unqualified for their roles, and many lack a basic understanding of how to manage employee concerns professionally or ethically. Instead of taking responsibility, they're quick to deflect blame onto others--especially those who challenge the status quo or point out inefficiencies.
One bright spot is the Grand Haven store, where the store manager is doing everything they can to keep things running smoothly and support their team. Unfortunately, even their hard work goes unnoticed or underappreciated by the higher-ups at Supergood.
If you're considering a job here, I'd strongly suggest doing more research and being cautious. There are far better companies out there that actually value and support their employees. read more
