We visited the park recently and were on the hunt for as many bird species we could identify. Found some birds we had never seen before and it was so much fun trying to hunt them down by their calls. I've never not seen a gator when visiting but you had to take your time and look closely. I can't say enough about this park. Just $2 to enter the park. There are picnic areas you can reserve, volleyball courts, playgrounds, trails, restrooms and an onsite nature center. You really cannot ask for much more. Definitely worth the visit!

Great local park with plenty of parking along Sinclair Hills Rd, although it can be difficult to…read moreback out onto this semi-busy two lane road at rush hour. The preserve has three main trails with yellow, blue and red blaze marks on the trees. There is a map at the entrance so take a picture before heading out because you will forget. You can walk at least 2.25 miles if you follow each trail in their entirety. Several ponds and lakes make for pretty views and many birds. Couple spots with ditches and undulations make the trek interesting. The preserve is surrounded by houses so you will see those as you walk some trails. In the middle of the park, hidden a bit by bushes and trees that are slowly encroaching and taking it back is the foundation and about 4 inches of the block wall of what I assume is Violet Cury and her husband's former home. Wish the county or organization that maintains the preserve would put a marker here announcing what it used to be or look like. The view through the trees onto the biggest lake leads you to imagine what life was like for the two and their visitors back in the day when they lived there. Also wish they would clear some of the debris, roots and bushes that are slowly taking it over. Worried future generations won't be able to see the site like it is today. Most of the trails are quiet, although the ones along the south you do hear and see all the traffic along Sinclair Hills Rd. This is a pretty park where you can explore, look at old oak trees and walk the dog. Thank you Hillsborough County for buying this property years ago for our enjoyment!

We had no idea what to expect, being first-timers and it exceeded our expectations. They have a quality selection of rooms; we selected the weekend in Vegas room. We almost got out! Just needED about 10 more minutes. We're already planning to schedule a future visit. The staff was super friendly and professional and the room was clean. Definitely will be back.

Wide open spaces, minimal seating, 1 Pavillion but it seems to cater to families in the neighborhood. Everyone was friendly. It also seems there was some sort of spring program occurring in the building, seeing it was spring break and all, and the kids inside seemed to be having a blast. This park is located next to thonotosassa elementary. I am elated to have found a new park to do my daily walks.

They are very willing to negotiate deals, especially on the last day. From what we gathered, they would prefer to take a loss, over having to return these trailers to their dealerships. Ticket prices are very affordable and are sold as a 2 day admission. This is any two days, not consecutive. We were even successful of purchasing a new camper for ourselves, and were able to take advantage of the hefty discounts on the last day. Here is the real reason my review did not score a full 5 stars. On the last day the show was scheduled to 5pm. At 4pm they were still selling tickets and welcoming you inside. HOWEVER, dealers everywhere had already begun closing slides and locking doors. So disappointing. Part of the reason we purchased from the company we did was because even though they had locked up, they reopened several units for us to view. And stayed well past closing to make sure we had everything we needed. SHOUT OUT to OPTIMUM RV!!!

I suggest you use this show to do your due diligence there's absolutely no rush to sign on the dotted line. I shopped for 6 months before purchasing my first RV and after trying this life style on for two years I decided to upgrade to what really wanted but that process still took about six weeks so take your time and you'll never have buyers regret. With unlimited access to information online it really pays to slow down and figure out things before you breakout the checkbook - YouTube, Blogs, RV Newsletter are so valuable I found that a lot of the sales force actually never RV'd so although they may know their products they really can't provide you with real life experience. This show is also filled with so many aftermarket suppliers peddling upgrades for whatever you buy, I'd definitely recommend you walk through the many booths just to know what's available once you decide you want to experience this lifestyle, there will be plenty of time to buy the gadgetry so buy as you go and look at the many options offered so you get what's best for you I think most RV'ers have shelves filled with stuff they never use but felt they couldn't live without it. Most of the pups we've met have all been pretty friendly. Also pretty interesting is the Pet owners here are extremely nice and they're actually the ones who take care of the park. Addie and i both love coming out here.
