My daughter attends the VPK only program at Discovery Point Suncoast and we are thrilled with our experience there. This was the first time my daughter would be outside of my care and from the parent meeting, to the first day and every day since I feel safe and confident that she is in loving, capable hands. The entire staff is friendly and approachable and the owners are very present, hands on and invested. The director is experienced and amazing and our teacher Ms Julia is hands down the best ever. She is dedicated, motivated, energetic, creative, so hands on and very affectionate with the children. The environment is so loving and positive and they strive to make the kids feel at home and respected and heard and then the kids are motivated to perform their best which they do. The improvements my daughter makes week to week are noticeable and easily witnessed in all the work we see come home and displayed in the class. They also go out of their way to build character by bringing in community members for discussions and giving the kids the sense they contribute to a bigger cause. I really can't say enough good things about every aspect of Discovery Point. I can't wait for my younger one to attend VPK here in a couple years and should I need childcare I will hands down put my girls in the childcare center here or the before and after school care. We have had a great experience so far, in the VPK Program! The school is a clean, safe, and caring environment. I feel like the staff cares about our family and loves our child. The owners are present on campus very often and very involved. Our child loves coming in each day! Ms. Julia, my child's teacher, is an extremely talented individual that has spunk and knows exactly how to get into the mind of a 4/5 year old! I was VERY selective when selecting a school because I'm a former teacher and I have been wowed! The curriculum really builds and a variety of techniques are used to hit all different learners. There is always student work up displaying what they are working on and each day my child's folder is filled with practice work. I really enjoy doing the weekly homework assignment with my child and feel they are a fun way to expand the weekly activities. My child loves it and that makes our family so happy! When my younger child needs to go to VPK, I will not even have to think about it! read more

As I can probably write a book of a great review, I will keep it short and say that you can stop looking for a wonderful VPK, this place is "IT." We have seen our child learn and grow so much just in these short few months he has attended VPK. We couldn't have asked for a better learning atmosphere for our child or better teacher. Ms. Julia is AMAZING!!! The owner Mr Salim is very involved and on site all the time. The classrooms are huge, the playground is shaded with lots of fun things to do, the teachers are awesome and it's in a convenient location. They're also 100 percent readiness as well for kindergarten. I recommend them to everyone looking. I'm a stay at home mom and was so stressed worrying about my child going to school, Ms. Anita made us feel so comfortable on our tour, we knew this was "HOME" and i know everyday i made the right choice being here! Our son attends Discovery Point and this school has no doubt one of the most positive impacts on his life. From the care, nurturing and true love of the teaching staff to the beautiful and calming environment. The overall consistent caring attitude of the the entire team is amazing. We could not be any happier with this school or more comfortable having our child in school. I have been part of this school for four years now and the least I can say about the teachers and the staff is that I am extremely satisfied. They are very committed to the children's and their progress.
