I had an express pedicure with Kathy and a 60 minute massage with Anna. The experience was fantastic! The pedicure was pampering, and although it was an express pedicure, I never felt that it was rushed. My massage with Anna was one of the best I've ever had. I was very relaxed, but the goal of the massage was obviously to help give me relief of muscle tension that I've been experiencing. Superior Body Massage & Spa is a great addition to Bayfield. I've been to them many times in the last few years and they've never disappointed. I most recently tried the 60 minute Hot Stone massage, and it was worth every penny. I walked in with a lot of pain in my lower back, and the hot stone massage almost completely dissolved every once of discomfort. My sister and I recently visited Bayfield and decided we both wanted spa treatments on the gloomiest day of our long weekend. I called Superior Body Massage & Spa for appointments and to ask a few questions, and Anna was very helpful. I was hoping to do a glycolic peel, but didn't want to purchase a series because we were only in town for a brief period of time. She recommended a facial with a peel added on for an addition $20, which I accepted. The only drawback - Anna is the only person working at the spa, so my sister and I had to do our treatments back to back. In reality, that wasn't a big deal...we brought books and read in their lounge area while the other was getting their spa treatment. The spa itself is tiny, but adorable. They've done a wonderful job of making it feel just like any other fancy spa you might find in a large city, and Anna is nothing but nice and professional. I chose the Fundamental Facial in addition to my peel, and it was excellent. It lasted about 45 minutes and included a tiny hand/arm massage - my only complaint might be that the arm/hand massage was much less than I have experienced when I've had facials at other spas. That being said, those other spas charged nearly double what Superior Body Massage does. My sister opted for a Grateful Back massage, and according to her it was wonderful. She felt relaxed and rejuvenated, and it was very cost effective. We enjoyed our visit to Superior Body Massage, and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bayfield. read more

Spending the week in Bayfield with the sole goal of relaxing. I made an appt here for the Blissful Body Treatment package with a pedissage added. Anna has a nice place and is very professional. If you are looking for some pampering, this is the treatment for you! I highly recommend it. The only negative is that I will have to wait until my next vacation for another appointment. read more

I have not had a massage in years. I have been having a headache coming and going the last few days. I made an appointment, explained my headaches had a one hour session and my headaches are now under control. Very nice ambiance at the spa. We had a couples massage which we really enjoyed--so relaxing! Definitely recommend Superior Body!!

My wife and I both got one hour massages and the only thing that could have made them better would have been to have 90 minutes! We waited until our last day and were lucky to have gotten in at all.
