Upon reaching out and speaking with John he agreed to come out on March 10th to look at our roof. We agreed to him making the repairs to our leaking roof. On March 11th he came out to make the alleged repairs to our roof. He was paid in full 900$ and we were told to contact the company if we had any issues moving forward because he provided us a 10-year warranty on the repairs. A day or two later it rained, and we noticed leaking again. We contacted John the owner and he said he would be out to take a look and make the necessary repairs the next dry day. John never showed nor called to reschedule. We attempted to make contact with the company multiple times, leaving voicemails and text messages but never got a response back. We were beginning to think something happened to the owner. We made contact with him from a different number, and he answered. We were surprised after attempting to make contact with the owner and was unable to reach him for days and weeks at time. We concluded he had no intentions on coming back out to make the repairs. He gave us another excuse about being very busy and forgot to reach out to say he was unable to make it. At this point we decided we just wanted our money back sense the repairs were not made to begin with. We did not feel as though we could trust him after this. He was dodging our calls and text messages and lied about coming out on 2 different occasions. He refused to reimburse us our money. We are senior citizens robbed.

Would go weeks without showing up. Sent Austin, a 20 year old with very limited skills and rarely showed up himself. Broke a pipe while installing the floor that ruined the ceiling on the floor below. Still had not come close to finishing the job in December before we finally asked him to not return. Irresponsible, did not take the proper precautions to protect the floor outside of the bathroom. I'm assuming he did not know how to tile the shower walls because he spent hours in the bathroom but never got it done? Have found Tik tok videos that were filmed in our incomplete bathroom during the time period that he was supposed to be tiling. He never finished the job. I could not recommend someone any less.

As a new first-time home owner, I was dealing with a leaking window. At the time, I had very little knowledge of home repairs, so I reached out to Boates Brothers, and they sent someone out to take a look at the window. The gentleman suggested that I caulk the window myself so that I could save money. I really appreciated the honesty and tips. I caulked the window as suggested, but it kept leaking. I reached back out to Boates Brothers, and they again sent someone out. As they looked over the window, I was told they wouldn't be able to identify the cause of the leak until after they ripped off all of the siding. The gentleman asked if I wanted him to replace the windows while the siding was off, since that would be the best time to do it. I declined because the windows were nearly brand new, and again, I had no knowledge about home repairs. At no point was any testing ever done to identify the source of the leak. I'm not sure why the gentleman couldn't use a hose to help locate the leak. Regardless, I went ahead with the recommended repair. After spending over 3 thousand dollars, I was told they found the source of the leak, and one of the contractors gave me his "stamp of approval" and assured me it would never leak again. I was very happy with the work until the next rain storm, and saw that the window was still leaking. I reached back out to Boates Brothers, and their response insinuated that it was my fault for declining to have the windows replaced. I am not a contractor, nor do I have the knowledge of the repairs. Never once did they say that the window was the cause of the leak. In fact, they told me the opposite. I hired them to find the source of the leak; it was not my responsibility to do so. Instead of offering to fix their work, they wanted to charge me an additional $2,500 to do the project all over again. I feel that they saw a young couple who were first-time homeowners and decided to take advantage of me. I strongly suggest avoiding this company at all costs
