We then called them and were told there was nobody available to talk to. Almost a week later they called us and apologized. We had the phone call and set a date. A little while later Lowe's sent us a confirmation for a different date so we tried to contact Ergeon at the number they gave us and no answer. Sent a text, no response. Two days later sent another text, no response. Two days after that tried to call, no answer and no response again to text. Called Lowe's who tried to call, no answer but they left a message for them to call us. Almost two days later they finally called and had an attitude. We told the guy all we wanted was a 10 second confirmation for the date and time because Lowe's gave a different one than them. He said he always tells people to ignore that from Lowe's but he never told us that. Again, he apologized. They were supposed to come out and go over everything but a different co, Innovation Fence, came over who told us they sub for Ergeon, so this is the 3rd co. We went over everything and set a date for install. They came out with yet a 4th company to help and put the fence up. On top of the price we were charged an additional $300 to have dirt removed. Literally a few days after install, a whole section of our fence fell down and 4-5 of the post caps blew off in minimal wind. We called Ergeon, no answer. Called Innovation Fence and the guy said he would come fix it. He came and the problem was he cut the top rail too short so it wasn't holding the fence panels in. He fixed it. Over the next week we spent time asking neighbors for our post caps that kept blowing off, finding them in the street where two got smashed... We went online and bought several and had to silicone them on ourselves after paying almost $16,000 for a fence! It is disgraceful that this is how Lowe's lets their customers be treated, how Ergeon treats the customers they were given through Lowe's, and the work the other fence co did! Our son who lives right down the road, had his fence installed by Direct fence and his looks much better, cost almost half, had no extra cost for dirt removal costs, and he has had zero problems! The fence gate required a locking latch to meet pool standard in my community. The gate latch is poor quality, --the latch will not open, or it sticks closed (requires oiling monthly, as well as constant adjustment to the latch). Discussed this with Dan on several occasions by phone or text (since installation in 1/2025). He inspected the latch during a visit and said it would be replaced. In addition, the installers cut the sprinkler system line in two places (the cuts in the line are obvious). Dan was told about the existence of the sprinkler system at time of purchase (installation team reminded as well). Two attached photos show cut in line adjacent to concrete (by shovel?), as well as cut in line where line sits atop of corner of concrete (zoom in on the photo). When I brought the gate latch to Dan's attention by text and voicemail (again earlier this week), he said no one told him the gate latch wasn't replaced. He said someone would drop by and repair/replace the gate latch, and he would repair the sprinkler line. I'm not sure why he expected me to remind him again about the gate latch (how many conversations does it take to get it done?). I declined to have him fix the sprinkler line as I already did the job myself (hopefully it doesn't continue to leak), and I didn't want to get into another back and forth with him about completing the work (as I experienced since 1/2025 about the gate latch).

I have GC'd many large projects over the years, so I have a LOT of experience in dealing with various vendors. It took almost 2 weeks just to get them to put our order together. But, it was wrong, so it took another 3 days to get them to correct it. During that 2+ week period I requested a manager twice. Both times I was just put into voicemail and never received a call back. A full month later our order was delivered, but only half of it! Once I pointed this out to them, they offered no explanation or apology, and delivered the missing half a week later (they dropped it right on top of 3 hydrangeas, crushing them). That night I received a call from the delivery guys that they delivered "someone else's order" and were there at 9:30 at night swapping them out! Finally after multiple delays our contractor was ready to start the job. Only after opening everything up did they discover that the order was missing all of my gate hardware, 3 railing brackets, and 4 fence brackets! Also the wrong size caps and stiffener were provided! It took two 2-hour roundtrips for me to get all the above! Whatever you think you may be saving on their product pricing, you will pay for 10-fold in frustration, mental anguish, project delays, gas consumption, travel time, etc. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING went as it should throughout the entire process, and I will never, ever use them again. As one of the counter people said in disgust, after hearing my story -- "you get what you pay for". Even the employees think Great Railing is pathetic!

Fence was supposed to take not even a full day, 3 days later i had to call screaming my head off b/c they only had 3 pieces up. Less than 1 year later a piece of the fence is falling out. My husband was told to try and fix it himself. He said no it should be under warranty. They guy said he was going to charge us $395 to fix it! Tried to fix ourselves and couldn't and now we have to wait to see if they will fix it b/c they don't do the work themselves they hire idiots who cant do it to put the fence in for you. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!! DO NOT USE!!!! People are rude and they are not helpful at all.

I just want to mention that we just put in a Burger Fence not my first one in our new Swedesboro…read morehome. It was a vinyl fence and it came out excellent. We had some problems. The problems were associated with double gates didn't close correctly a couple of the panels that had holes penned through created by my landscapers hitting rocks during mowing. as in most cases, people would be concerned about that especially looking at some of the reviews that we've seen online about Burger Fence but upon contacting my sales rep, who is Ed Smith who is by the way excellent he referred me over to the owner of the company, Mark Burger, who I must say surprised me greatly. He contacted me. He came out on a Saturday. Assessed the situation and said he would be out the next day Sunday to fix it!! I did not believe that that would ever happen he showed up Sunday the next day and he fixed everything by himself and did not charge me a dimeand we are already Over our warranty by a little over a year and a half. I don't know too many companies that would do that service --- so in my opinion, if you're gonna get a fence company get Burger Fence family owned great people and deal directly with your sales reps. Sometimes the office may be overwhelmed. That's what I experienced and I got right to the source and they took care of it like true professionals Five stars as far as I'm concerned.
