I was having a new floor put in my kitchen and was desperate for molding to match my cabinets. I went to Superior where we had purchased cabinets 15 years ago. I spoke with Laura and Rheal and they came through for us. They had the molding in a couple of days, and it matched perfect. It's difficult to find a company so faithful to their old customers. We asked them to redo one cabinet. The previous owners had them install all the cabinets and we wanted to change one. After months they came and put in a cheap substitute and told me that is what they use now. They came because I called and asked to speak to the owner and then someone told me they would come and install it. Looks terrible. Someone else is going to redo it. I can sent pictures of the difference in the cabinets if you want to see them. read more

We had our kitchen designed and installed by Superior Kitchen in 2000. We had a great experience with Rhael, who helped us design a plan that works so well. Now, 18 years later, it has held up beautifully through a growing family and many years of heavy use. Last year, the cabinet that gets the most wear and tear (it hides the trash can), finally took too much abuse and split. At first, it was hoped that a repair could be made but it turned out that a new door had to be ordered and then stained to match. It took awhile, or I would have rated a 5, but it has now been reinstalled and looks perfect. The kitchen is truly the heart of our home and even after 18 years it looks wonderful. We would and do tell everyone about our positive experience with this company. read more

What an ironic name, Superior Kitchen. Inferior customer service after the sale is more like it. These guys did an adequate job installing the kitchen cabinets, but when we wanted some finishing touches done, at our expense, they disappeared and don't return phone calls. Pathetic. read more

Superior Cabinetry came highly recommended because we needed custom cabinets built as part of a kitchen update. It took about 3 weeks and multiple phone calls to even get someone to call us back. The owner came, looked at the kitchen and we discussed the project. It was a very positive experience, especially after being told that Superior Cabinetry did the original work on the kitchen when it was built. He took the specs for the appliances, measurements and told us he would put together a quote. A month went by without any communication or call back, even after multiple phone calls and an e mail. I have to agree with some of the other reviews. Some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. I must correct myself, they have no customer service skills. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

On a recommendation, we contacted Superior for a full kitchen renovation. After the initial visit, it took weeks to get a response. I gave them specs drawn up by an interior designer which were ignored. No suggestions were made and very little detail was provided in the quote. After several attempts to contact them, weeks went by. I should've seen the writing on the wall for our addition was delayed a month as a result. read more

SUPERIOR KITCHEN DESIGNS - A world-class LOSER! I asked my neighbor who she used to build her kitchen. She replied, Superior Kitchens of So. Gardner. She said the kitchen had been redesigned and installed quite some time ago. (She thought it was about 15 years). 18 months ago, (April, 2015) I called them and set up an appointment for someone to look at my kitchen (ca. 1935). The owner of the Co, Rheal McCaie came to measure. I gave him some basic information regarding style, traffic, how I wanted the kitchen to work, and where I wanted the appliances. That is the last time I ever saw him, or spoke to him. He never called me, followed up or sent a designer. Just couldn't be bothered. That should have told me everything. I had to call them, and request a designer. They sent a designer named Mark Johnson. As time went on, I learned that Rheal doesn't deal with his customers, he avoids them. He has put his lying, cheating, conniving sister, Sylvia, in charge of the office. Good Thinking! She has no morals, no conscience, is a deceitful swindler who doesn't give a damn whether the customer gets satisfaction or not. She'll tell you anything that comes into her head, just to get rid of you on the phone, never returns phone calls, tampers with contracts, tries to swindle customers, and knows there will be no repercussions, because she's the owner's sister, and can't be fired. I negotiated a kitchen package, consisting of cabinets, granite countertops, undermount sink and hardware for just under 14K. At best, it's a small kitchen (9x13), and there are only 17 units; one of which is a cubby for bottles, and a spice rack. At the end of the design process, Mark said we needed to sign a form and give them a 40% deposit. That was August 11, 2015. He told me the turnaround time would be about 6 weeks, but didn't write it on the contract. I thought what I was signing was a go-ahead to begin the cabinets. Mark deliberately kept me in the dark, didn't tell me it was the 1 and only contract (they have nothing to do with granite, which comes from a 3rd party vendor. He led me to believe I was getting a kitchen package for 14K, which is what my neighbor described. Mark was fired for not being detail-oriented enough. For example, he failed to include the granite countertops, undermount sink, and hardware as part of the package. After Mark left, my kitchen was not reassigned to anyone working there. My file was taken out of the active kitchens and forgotten about. They missed their window several times, wouldn't return my phone calls, so I would have to drive to So. Gardner to talk to someone. Sylvia and some surly desk warmer named Laura would always try to snow me. Either they were closing early, or couldn't find installers, or it was always their busy time. Anything to get me out of the office. I never did get an install date. Sylvia, always looking for an opportunity to swindle, decided my 17 units were going to cost just under 14K. My kitchen was modified to accommodate the new cabinets, the extra outlets were roughed in before I signed. Slyvia, Laura, and Mark all deliberately kept me in suspense, withheld information; it's been 15 months since I gave them a check for $5,494, and to date, I have nothing to show for it. I contacted the AG's Office, and they tried to mediate. There is an option in the contract for delivery of cabinets at 60% of the package deal. Sylvia won't even honor the terms of the contract! It's been 15 months since I signed the contract, handed over the deposit, and I have nothing to show except a torn-up space where the kitchen should be. I have to run extension cords just to make coffee, or use the toaster. Finally, Sylvia's willing to take 1K off for labor, which brings down the cabinets to 13K, and if I don't hustle her a check for $7216.00, she's going to start charging me storage! BTW, I found out on November 07, 2016 that the cabinets in fact exist. They've been sitting in their warehouse for the last year - and no one from Superior ever called to let me know, or to schedule an install date. They're still using the no installers excuse! The Arbiter and I finally gave up today, and I rejected the cabinets and cancelled the contract. There's 15 months down the toilet, and I have to start the process all over again! Unless you love to be treated like dirt, lied to, mislead, and deliberately kept in the dark, I suggest strongly that you avoid Superior Kitchen Design. They are the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Sylvia is a repulsive, deceitful piece of work, and her equally attractive cohort, Laura, thinks she's doing everyone a huge favor if she answers the phone! Only if she needs the exercise! They're both a couple of rotten zeros, and fortunately, Mark's already been fired. That one that got away! Unless you're fond of recurrent nightmares, I suggest you steer clear of these 2 terminally half-assed beauties! read more

We have been using Superior Kitchens for over 8 years...I have never had one complaint...They have always fixed any issues they may come up...On our most recent project; the electrician stapled through a cabinet, totally our fault..Our customer was so upset, Superior took care of everything with in days...I can't say enough good things about Superior Kitchens- they are the best!!!! read more

They are great! They custom design beautiful kitchens and baths and their prices are reasonable. We have referred them to many, many other people all who were pleased with their work. If we have a problem, they come and fix it. I would highly recommend them. read more
