I'm writing this review in response to work I had done several years ago. This was, by far, the…read moreworst experience I've ever had with a contractor. I had a sunroom redone -- new floor, new support posts, ceiling, lighting, etc. During the entire process, Bob was extremely unpleasant, to put it mildly. That would be fine, if the work was done well. It most certainly was not. The floor was a complete disaster. A wide plank floor with gaps up to 1/8" in between planks. A sanding and stain job that looked like it was done by someone who's never installed a floor before. Sanding circles all over the floor and bubbles in the poly virtually everywhere. The ceiling planks weren't installed properly and separated and cracked just days after install. The drywall repair was done horribly, the mud wasn't sanded properly and they painted over everything before it dried. To top it all off, they initially put in the wrong supports under the sunroom, only to replace them with the "proper" ones that they decided to cut too short, causing the entire room to separate from the house by about 1/4". For you own sake, if you're reading this review please stay away from these clowns.

We didn't even end up replacing all of them giving our time expectations to remain in the dwelling. The subcontractor who came was young but friendly and was able to replace the windows in a short period of time. Most importantly he cleaned up whatever debris remained. 8 weeks later no issues and the windows look great.

Lets just say I'm not a fan of chasing my contractor to find out when they will or will not show up. Especially when it is weeks of non-communication and then I have to reach out to find out where the contractor is to be told they will show up and then weeks go by again and they don't. (2) Poor workmanship on quite a few items by his crew with no project management oversight to correct issues as they arose. Only showing up when things had to be fixed and taking his crews word that items were done and done well versus seeing for himself. Interior bedroom doors put in but door jams not properly flushed (my mom and I had to fix it ourselves), windows installed so improperly that the owner himself had to come out to fix what his crew messed up, and even something as simple as caulking a bathroom tub had to be redone by the owner as the crew couldn't handle even that. (3) Incomplete projects that were partially started and then never completed to the point where after numerous excuses and being ghosted for months, I finally had to cancel the contract with this company and hire another company at increased cost just to complete the projects that this company started and never finished. This included exterior windows, exterior siding and exterior door. Portions of these incomplete (door sils, window sils and exterior siding) items were open to the elements for months during the dead of winter. Some projects I had on contract never even got started from bathroom vent and barn door installation. Overall, I would NOT recommend this company. The owner is very nice and he has one really good worker he calls "bob the builder" but overall the rest of the team seems pretty inexperienced. I would rather have a contractor that is less personable but did the job, versus one that is nice but can't execute it. The owner while very nice does not communicate well and does not conduct good project oversight management or he would have been on top of his crew when they made major errors and provided subpar workmanship.

The employees were all very professional and knowledgeable. They talked me through all of the issues that could be addressed to make my home more energy efficient and the steps needed to be prepared for the installation. They photographed all areas that were inspected before and after installation. They took care of all logistics and financial coordination of the program and laid it out for me in their co-construct website. They did a great job installing insulation in my basement and attic along with upgraded ducting as required. I paid half of the cost up front and the rest after completion. The whole process was relatively easy. I do wish that the co-construct website would go to a read only mode to access and review documentation, at least for a period of time after the work is complete, so I recommend downloading all materials while you have access. Turn cycle solutions was great to work with and I would be happy to work with them again in the future.

So Mr. Nick Couture and Johnny Hawkes of Crossroads came out and made good on their promise to…read morerepair the deck as it had been initially previously left last October. Most notable and dramatic is that they repaired the spa platform crossbeams to something that is definitely aesthetically better looking! They did a lot of cleanup work such as sanding off chalk, and pencil lines previously left behind. They cleaned off the residual cardboard from the sono tube support pillars. But I think one of the most impressive things of all is that they literally raked out all the residual stone, debris and shale that had been left under the spa and deck. My wife was much happier with this result, and I'm grateful to them for following through on these issues. I've posted pictures of the cleanup work that was done by them today.

Granted they were replaced when we pointed it out but, most contractors would notice and rectify without the need for customer concerns and requests. very disorganized and one of the men working on our home flat out lied. the carpenter was excellent and the tradesmen were excellent but as far as the way this business was run, I'd say do just that, run.

I have been very happy in my new home and they added touches I requested and even had suggestions I would have never thought of but love the things I incorporated at their recommendation. I would highly recommend hiring Christof and his crew for any project. You won't be sorry. Our local building inspector was very impressed with the team and the end result. They stayed true to their initial quote although I had some changes as we went along and most were provided within the cost quoted. Phenomenal!

They kept me informed of arrival times as the job required 5 days because after I saw my 68 year old and badly worn bedroom floor newly sanded and looking gorgeous and like new again, I decided to add the 2 remaining bedrooms to the project. His crew worked efficiently and cleaned up prior to leaving. Andre was very accommodating with getting my project done with my needs (moving in) and his crew worked around my simultaneous landscaping project outside with no complaints.
