Walt Disney was once asked what he felt was most important that kept people coming back to Disneyland again and again. Even though they may have been there, done that, and bought more than a few t-shirts over the years, people still returned. In 2013 I decided it was time for a new roof on my house. I also decided it was time to quit risking my life every year cleaning out my old gutters. I had installed some DIY gutter guards on the old roof, the kind that work for maybe a year, then collapse like mine did. The guy I chose to install the roof recommended Superior Seamless for the gutters, which is how I met Cory when he prepared an estimate. He suggested I also have them install real, effective gutter guards that are securely attached no matter how hard the wind blows. The price was not only reasonable, it was well worth every dollar. I haven't climbed up on my roof since then... that's 12 years without a single drip or leak. Then came this year's first rainstorm, when one of the downspouts overflowed. The gutters seemed fine, but I called Cory and Jacob anyway to see what to do. In this case there was nothing wrong with the gutters or the guards, so not a problem that called upon their lifetime warranty, but they agreed to check it out anyway. Now to be clear, Superior isn't in the business of cleaning gutters. But when Jacob dropped by to check all the downspouts, he was kind enough to clear out the minor mounts of debris that had collected around some of the downspout openings over the past decade+. That is really incredible service. OK, so the business may not be as fun as Disneyland but Superior Seamless Gutters has something in common with it, in the way it operates. We recently had our 29 + old roof replaced by Crandall Roofing. They subcontracted with Superior Seamless Gutter for the gutter work. AJ & Brandon were sent out and are a great team! They installed the necessary gutters and when I asked AJ if the 5 downspouts were reusable, he said they were still in good shape. They did spend an hour modifying the old downspouts, but the charges for the work was less than paying for the 5 new downspouts. Loved hearing this, because that meant we didn't have to paint 5 new spouts to match the color on our house. We really appreciated his honesty. It was so interesting seeing their process. They drive up with a huge roll of metal (picked Colonial Red to match existing trim color), and they pull a trailer which extrudes the material in the shape of the gutters. I could tell AJ was very experienced in the process. I asked him if I could watch the first part of it for a few minutes and he was very patient and answered my questions, while still working. Amazing process! I noticed his attention to detail and before I knew it, they knocked on the door to tell me the job was done. I highly recommend this company for your gutter work. So Yes it takes forever to get an appointment, but that is because they are amazing. I waiting almost two months for my gutters and I have to say it was worth the wait. I was impatient but I have to say now that they are done, I get it. I totally get it. I have never thought much about gutters until my home started flooding because the gutters and down spouts were rusted out. Superior sent an awesome crew that hustled the entire day, worked their butts off. I love my gutters. All my change orders off my quote were addressed and nothing was missed. I kept checking up on them to make sure everything was going well. Not a single missed item. They communicate very well between the quote crew and the install crew. I am going to refer them to all my friends and family. Worth the wait I promise! I woudn't want their stressful crazy busy job. The install crew rocks! An easy quote process. I reached out to Superior Seamless Gutter a few weeks ago for a quote to replace the gutters on our house. I was told someone would come out about a week later. I assumed someone would call before arriving but instead just showed up. Cory came to my house and looked at the gutters. A day or so later, I received a quote (which seemed pretty reasonable, and was actually less than some of the others I received). I asked a few questions and eventually got some answers. I tried calling to schedule the actual install (was told it would be 6 weeks plus, given the time of year) and left multiple messages first thing in the morning, only to be called back in the evening. I couldn't take the call, got a voicemail saying call back. When I did call back, *shocker*, no answer. Tried again later, no answer. Emailed Cory to ask about scheduling the install, and that I had another *higher) quote from a different company and that I couldn't delay in responding to them any longer. Shortly thereafter I received this email from Cory: "Go ahead and go with the other quote. Thanks, Cory" What the hell?! What kind of service is that? I get that you're busy, but come on. Now I'd rather spend a few hundred more just so I don't have to deal with that lack of customer service. read more

For me, they were a no show, and then suggested to reschedule for two months ahead of time (after already waiting in queue for two months to get the job started). I had two 40' runs of seamless rain gutter put on my house. I didn't time them, but I think it took about 3 hours to tear off the old gutter and put up the new. I liked that I could get a quote over the phone. I just told him what I wanted (length of runs, number of downspouts), he gave me a quote and I said, "Ok, when can you do the work?" A few days later we were set to go. Easy peasy. I am pleased with the quality of the finished product and the attention to the small details. Two one and a half inch galvanized screws at each rafter tail to attach the gutters and the downspouts attached with metal strips from behind with no brackets or fasteners showing. The previous gutter I had was not seamless. After 15 years, they leaked at the joins. I've had other homes with crappy gutters that were not seamless. They all leaked - even when you sealed them, there would always be a drip or two. That drip splashes on the side of the house and causes the wood to grow damp and rot. These Superior Seamless Gutter guys came up as a team of four with the big gutter machine - pressed out the two 40 foot sections and had them up quickly - but carefully. Each guy knew what needed to be done without a lot of talk or wasted movement. It was fun to watch them work. It looked like a stage play where everyone knew their lines and what to do. Tip: If you do not specify the type of downspout, they will give you a round one. I think the rectangular have more volume and are better. They put the rectangular on my house without asking because they saw that that's what I had before. read more

I have not been yelping much but have to give these guys credit where due. The owner's son came out and gave me a quote on the spot after measuring. The only company out of 3 which did that. Sadly, the Superior Seamless Gutter that was installed less than 1.5 years ago has failed. Cory Thomas came out for the bid and never discussed options fully. Now I have to get a new gutter in order to accommodate the downspout. They should have added a mere 6-8 inches to accommodate the original downspout. I was clear that I had issues of excessive runoff from the slight pitch in the roof (water coming into a french door and mold in a basement storage area) and needed to come up with options for the gutter. He simply replaced the old gutter that was there and didn't consider a better drainage option. To make matters worse, the new gutter leaked one day after placement and the owner was so unpleasant to deal with. Now I have a gutter that will need to be replaced with a new roof. Given my experience, I would not use Superior Seamless. read more

Jesse Stone (estimator showed up at my home (was pleasant ,affable had a "can do attitude" "stated my install was "a custom job because I had a 1.5"x 3/4" trim board up top near my shingle overhang on my existing fascia board which steepened the gutter angle n prevented them from lying flat on the underlying board thus requiring a K metal bracket to make the gutter flatten out n lift it up. I already had the bracket in fabricated cardboard. I received an estimate from Jesse however didn't hear back from him so I reached out to his boss Cory who rudely chastised me because I told him that I wanted 2 be there if/when Jesse was to perform the install- He stated"are u going to be in Jesse's back pocket watching his every move"? I felt this was rude, unprofessional n uncalled for because "I stated that I would be there to answer any questions n insure that the installation was performed correctly". This arrogant man went on tho state that they do 8 installs /day as if implying mine wasn't important and they like 2 get in and get out on the "easy install jobs. He stated that they didn't do any fabrication of metal parts. I told Cory that Jesse stated he felt confident in "the challenge" of install n his boss stated he could be a lil overenthusiastic at times.. From the get go I sensed that "this guy would be a problem because of the way he mistreated me as a potential paying customer! Because of this I reached out to Jesse n told him that if he wished 2 work with me outside his company at some point then please let me know! Boss Cory was conflictual in his email response to my feedback letter to Jesse on Cory's inappropriate behavior. Cory also stated that Jesse had already spent way too much time working on my project which further established an uncaring customer service attitude. The customer "irregardless is always right" and should be respected and acknowledged for his concerns not pushed away~especially a potential paying one! I never purported 2 know more than the installers nor to tell them what to do! Cory was"only concerned about expanding the business not customer satisfaction! Cost wasn't a concern here as he was $400.00 higher than my closest bid-quality of work was! Caveat Emptor- If u have a more complicated install- look elsewhere- After all this I declined 2 work with this company due to my negative interaction with Boss Cory! Had he been more pleasant and accommodating then I probably would have hired them! read more

This quote is a reflection of the estimator not the actual work done. We are in escrow on a house and the gutters were in need of repair. I was surprised to get them to come out within 2 days, but when he showed up he was not pleasant to deal with. He gave us the excuse that the roof pitch was too steep to do let his guys work on. He also said he had been to this house prior when another set of people were in escrow on the house and told them the same thing. Instead of wasting time into our escrow he could've been a little more organized and seen that he had been there already and been more respectful. Company has great reviews, this guy is not a reason behind those reviews. read more

They're busy, so trying to get an estimate from them is tough...I was offered an estimate in 4 weeks...they suggested time on the date, which unfortunately did not work for me...when i called to try to move it, they said it would be another 2 weeks. I contacted them to replace downspout which I had damaged because it was clogged with debris from my gutters. I had leaf protection on my gutters but the old cheap plastic do it yourself type. I removed those when I had the house reroofed and needed something to keep all of the droppings from a large oak tree which hangs over my roof. Since the oak drops not only leaves but flowers and pollen and small twigs I needed to keep everything out to prevent the downspouts clogging up. When I called and talked to Lisa she took time to explain different screening options but said that when Ryan came out he would look at the situation and make the best recommendation. That is exactly what happened. I chose the leaf protection with the finest mesh and screening with the understanding it would be my responsibility to brush off the accumulated debris so as to prevent the water from running over the front. Their pricing was very fair and reasonable and they scheduled installation of both leaf protection and downspout for the following week. Their crew showed up right on time. They were very professional but also friendly. They did a great job! I am relieved that I will not have dead leaves and other debris in my gutters as we approach another worrisome fire season. Thoughtful work crew arrived as scheduled, started old gutter removal work right away. Took time to ask questions for super clarity about issues and placement before commencing installation work. Matt did a great job answering my questions and concerns. At the end, they made sure to clean fingerprints from new gutters and check lawn for any stray metal pieces.
