I am shocked this company isnt a 5 star strait across. But I just read the other review. How dare they not want to come out when there's a hurricane. And not just a hurricane. The largest one ever recorded to hit Florida. LOL. So here's a real review. I just moved to Clearwater and we use Superior Trash. I was told on the phone to break up the boxes and they would be lenient with me since I have just moved and they would be understanding of the amount of trash I had. (WELL over the normal amout). Well, I was scurrying to get the boat load of trash out and the guy helped me! I apologized profusely because I assume they are off work when the route is picked up, and here I am holding them up. The driver was cool, the guy helping me was cool and I mean NO attitude at all. He told me "awe, this is nothing... We got your back". Even after this, they passed my house a month later and I was late (they hit my neighborhood at 8-9am) so I put my bag out and already knew they went by. I was just hoping they would stop but had no expectations they would. But they Damn sure did. Best service from a trash pick up company I have ever had. I wish I knew thier names. But all I got is they are two younger, strong looking, black guys with hearts of gold. read more

I don't even use Superior -- a couple houses on my street do -- but their truck is impossible to ignore. It comes through our neighborhood like it's late for something else, well over any reasonable speed for a residential street with kids and pets around. And the truck itself sounds like it's one bad day from falling apart -- grinding, rattling, like it's holding together with duct tape. Nothing about the experience says "Superior." If this is the equipment and driving they're comfortable putting in front of customers' neighbors, I'd think twice about what else they're cutting corners on. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very satisfied with their services, office is a little disorganized but making sure they have your text number solves most of that - they are good at sending notices and schedules, delays, etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drivers are polite and don't leave cans in the middle of the driveway (or the road!) like my previous more expensive service did. The account manager is the most absolute rudest person ever. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He will not allow you to speak, will talk over you especially if you are a woman[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and will make unauthorized charges on your credit card. I canceled services back in July 2024. He and I agreed at that time that $45 would reconcile my account. I paid and they picked up my trash can. Low and behold he charges my account four months later telling me that I have a balance. I never gave him permission to charge my card, but yet he did.It anyways. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told him I would report this as a fraudulent credit card use. I shopped around and found this company was the least expensive. You get what you pay for. I had on-going problems with missed pick ups. The excuses were endless. Broken down truck was the main culprit. A few times, I'd get a text that my pickup was delayed. But then , it would never happen. More than a few times, the workers would not completely empty my bin. They'd leave items inside. I see by other Yelpers, this is not rare. I canceled my service and moved to a different company. Yes, I'm paying more, but if they actually pick up my trash, it will be worth it. read more

You can never get ahold of anyone! They obviously need more people working that are able to answer phones. My calls are never returned, like promised on the voicemail. I've called and left my name and number over 5 times to try and cancel my automatic payment before it comes out at the end of this month. Very unprofessional and aggravating. read more

I, too, shopped around and STS was the least expensive. I live on a cul-de-sac and was supposed to have service twice a week whether I needed it or not. I WILL repeat a line from another review: "a pathetic amount of missed pickups with no communication.... they're the cheapest for a reason... you get what you pay for." John is all ready with an excuse for which I probably gave too much slack: truck problems, workers calling in sick, etc. I gave Superior a year...... going to try Waste Pro next. read more

I have used them for several years, and wish I had never contacted them. They regularly miss pickups, at first I would call and it was always some excuse, Equipment Failure, Employee No Shows, Employees out sick, too busy of a day, Employees quit, you name it. I always gave them the benefit of the doubt, but never did they offer any solutions. I actually just stopped calling, as they only have 1 person in the office and it is very difficult to contact them. But now their new excuse is it is the customer that is causing them problems. They are not the cheapest service, they offer no options just problems. I suggest you look at other services, as I have FIRED them. Just not worth the money or the issues they have read more

I had Waste Pro which I thought was horrible but these guys take the cake! Missed 3 pick ups after saying it would get picked up the next day...went on for a week. The guy over there doesn't know what he is doing but in his defense he is probably overloaded with constant complaints. Stay clear and remember: You get what you pay for! read more

November received invoice for $75. Submitted payment 12/2 for $75. On the same day, 12/2 received invoice for $105 for same service with no explanation as to why it was increased. Called and cancelled service because the owner never said it was an introductory rate as he claimed, nothing on any invoices to indicate such, but nevertheless service cost increased 40%. Cancelled the service and got told I am being charged for them to sanitize THIER can, another hidden fee that was not discussed. Imagine my surprise when I find that the $75 I originally authorized on 12/2 magically turned into $105 being drawn on my account the day after I cancelled the service. Lies to get you to start service, changes fees and then charges you to cancel? Everything will sound really good from the start, but then the increases will start and when you cancel, the real truth comes out. Nothing you can say, John, will ever change the fact you are the only company that charges your cancelling customers to "sanitize" your own garbage cans that you force them to use. I had my own cans, but you refused to allow them as part of your service, which is odd that you still collected the trash from them. You force me to use your can so you can charge me to clean it later. That is a really bad business practice and I hope people see your company for what it is, a rip off! read more

Seem like only pick up some trash not leaves or tree trimming which is in trash container

I've been trying to contact this company for days. They took almost 2 weeks to get to my property, missing scheduled pickups. I already have a rodent issues as the storm drain is next to my pickup site. When they do show up, this is how they treat my cans... I find this every single time. I used to have lids for the cans, those have been ripped off due to them being thrown to the curb. I have left emails, called, left voicemails, and they do not respond. Superior.... I think not. Update: I called and asked to cancel services and a refund since it just started last week and isn't over until September. He threatened to put a lien on my house. He also said that my trashcans are not proper and it's the fault of the cans that they fall over. Though... they never do this when they are empty otherwise. This is a crook of a company... Hands down the worst trash company. This guy is a unprofessional who does all the sales and has no class when performing customer service. This company missed several trash pickups and called to ask and all he did was give attitude and accuse my husband who gets up every day 5:30 to the house by 6:00, that he was not placing the trash out by 6:15. I wasn't missing a trash Billings cycles so there is no accuse. Yes we are the only home in my neighborhood that uses and I beginning to understand why. Our trash was missed on the first and second pick up even after multiple calls for them to pick up our trash. WOREST trash service EVER!!!! Didn't come for almost two weeks after agreed upon start date. Then skipped days constantly. Trash guys went through can and picked and choose what they would actually take. Left rooting fish in the trash can even though it was in a trash bag. Owner refuses to respond to messages by phone and email. Charged us even after canceling services. Owes me a refund but I'm sure I'll never see it. Poor service overall Trucks break down and they miss pickups, them promise to show and do not Very very aged form of communication- they claim information is on phone message and it is not, so not to tidy you when changes are coming (expect you to know or call them) and anything you leave outside of can is left behind, when you call, your told you should know and it will be another few days until pickup I could go on but in the end, it is sad that we want to use a small business but they act like they are irreplaceable, far from true.
