BEWARE! Since we started using Nor-Cal Pump, we've had annual pump outages. In 4 years, we've had…read moreto replace our Hitachi 7-1/2 horse pump twice. TWICE! at a cost of over $12k each time! One pump was only 2 months out of warranty and they bascially charged us full price. They even tried to charge us for a loaner pump that they put back in the well, and tried to tell me that we should have used better wire, which caused a short. THEY WERE THE ONES WHO INSTALLED THE WIRE PREVIOUSLY! THEY STAND BEHIND NOTHING! Then, they left pipe and all types of crap around the well site that they promised to pick up and it's still here. 4 MONTHS. (See attached) I was promised that it would be picked up only to get a less then professional answer from, Gene Barngrover, service manager. (See attached) I guess he's busy even though the week before he promised to have someone pick these pipes up. (See attached) Service companies are only as good as their expertise, value and most of all, their word. Unfortunately, Nor-Cal Pump has fallen short of honoring their word. Disappointing.

Unprofessional. The…read morefirst time I called, Annette put me on hold and then hung up on me and never called me back. I called back and expressed that I wanted to get a water filter system installed and I wanted a water test that will cover everything that it will need for me to install a water filter test. I also expressed that I was not sure that test will cover that but I needed the one that includes everything such as iron and bacteria. Annette charged for a bacteria only service for $210. As a professional, Annette should have informed me that since I was unsure of what was all required for the test, that they will not be able to provide me a service until o can be sure of exactly what test I needed. Instead she decided move forward with a bacteria only test. Also, I had to follow up with the company for my test result. They did not send it to me. I also emailed them back about this disconnect between my request and the service I received and there was no response. I called them back and spoke to Annette. And her response was I should have asked another company to do the service and she can offer me another test for an additional cost. She did not acknowledge that fact that she should have detoured me from their services because neither her or I knew the service I needed. Instead she made the assumption that I needed bacteria only.

Our well stopped working Saturday ... nightmare . Called around . Most were too busy to come out …read more One company came out and looked at well without pulling up pump and said "it needs to come " out but couldn't do it .... We got ahold of Peters on Sunday and they came out first thing Monday . Nevada ( that's his name ! :) opened up the well house , tested everything and said yep let's pull that baby out .... What a haul ! Even called his boss Aaron who came right out to us to help pull it out . Once out , found out it Needed new wiring , new pump , the whole deal . Nevada had everything on hand on his truck and got us up and running with water within 3 hours . Super nice guy ! Very personable and told us everything about our well that we didn't know . 5 year warranty too . We will most definitely call them if we need any help ever again . And will tell all of our friends .

When we split the property, Tanko drilled us the well we needed and had to retest the original well it is 11 gallons per minute now. They have come through for us time and time again. I strongly agree that they are the best.

Without consulting us or securing our consent, Wild Heron drilled through our existing well (which…read morewas putting out approx. 10GPM) and drilled down 300 feet and found no water. They simply stopped drilling and sent us a bill for over $40k. Instead of putting in perforated casing in the area where we had been getting water (60-80 feet below ground level), they put solid casing in that area which meant we now had no water at all. We have had to pay $1200-$2000/week to have water delivered. The axiom for drillers is that you never leave a property (or well) in a worse condition than when you started. Wild Heron did the opposite and demanded payment for its inept work.

Do not use if under a time crunch for Real Estate. They have no concept of inspection period requirements. The lady at the front desk was nice and just passing along the information from her terrible boss who has no concept of how to run a business other than shady "take the job, we will get to it someday" mindset.. so dissapointed. Cost me more in reschedule fee's, late fee's and travel than the entire test would have cost.
