BEWARE! Since we started using Nor-Cal Pump, we've had annual pump outages. In 4 years, we've had…read moreto replace our Hitachi 7-1/2 horse pump twice. TWICE! at a cost of over $12k each time! One pump was only 2 months out of warranty and they bascially charged us full price. They even tried to charge us for a loaner pump that they put back in the well, and tried to tell me that we should have used better wire, which caused a short. THEY WERE THE ONES WHO INSTALLED THE WIRE PREVIOUSLY! THEY STAND BEHIND NOTHING! Then, they left pipe and all types of crap around the well site that they promised to pick up and it's still here. 4 MONTHS. (See attached) I was promised that it would be picked up only to get a less then professional answer from, Gene Barngrover, service manager. (See attached) I guess he's busy even though the week before he promised to have someone pick these pipes up. (See attached) Service companies are only as good as their expertise, value and most of all, their word. Unfortunately, Nor-Cal Pump has fallen short of honoring their word. Disappointing.

I called back and expressed that I wanted to get a water filter system installed and I wanted a water test that will cover everything that it will need for me to install a water filter test. I also expressed that I was not sure that test will cover that but I needed the one that includes everything such as iron and bacteria. Annette charged for a bacteria only service for $210. As a professional, Annette should have informed me that since I was unsure of what was all required for the test, that they will not be able to provide me a service until o can be sure of exactly what test I needed. Instead she decided move forward with a bacteria only test. Also, I had to follow up with the company for my test result. They did not send it to me. I also emailed them back about this disconnect between my request and the service I received and there was no response. I called them back and spoke to Annette. And her response was I should have asked another company to do the service and she can offer me another test for an additional cost. She did not acknowledge that fact that she should have detoured me from their services because neither her or I knew the service I needed. Instead she made the assumption that I needed bacteria only.

Our experience with Peter's Drilling & Pump Service was extremely disappointing and costly…read more They originally drilled multiple water wells for a development project. Later, when the wells were brought online, we began discovering major discrepancies between the well depths and production that were reported and what actually existed. The most troubling incident occurred when Peter's Drilling came out to service a well pump. During their attempt to retrieve the pump, something went wrong and the well was suddenly unusable. We were told the well had "collapsed due to an act of nature" and that the only solution was drilling a completely new well at significant cost. An independent well contractor later inspected the situation and concluded the failure was most likely caused during Peter's own work. When we asked for transparency or even a simple camera inspection of the well, those requests were refused. Water wells are expensive and critical infrastructure. In our experience there were serious issues with accuracy, communication, and accountability. If you hire Peter's Drilling for well drilling or pump service, I strongly recommend independently verifying well depth and water production.

When we split the property, Tanko drilled us the well we needed and had to retest the original well it is 11 gallons per minute now. They have come through for us time and time again. Emigdio and his crew did a great job trenching for gas, water, and sewer lines for our new ADU in…read moreRocklin. We had over 200 ft. of trenching in an already landscaped yard. They were very careful and returned our yard to normal with minimal disturbance. We also had to trench across the street to run conduit for a new electrical line. Emigdio was with us every step of the way from the preconstruction meeting with PG&E through the compaction tests required by the Department of Public Works. He went above and beyond to get the work done, and his crew is very friendly and respectful. He was honest and fair, easy to get a hold of, and the ONLY subcontractor on this project that actually did what he said he would do without upcharging us.
