We called Manny well over 100 times and Manny promised to go there and fix the mistakes he and his people caused. Every time it rains, it also rains inside the apartment and the people stopped paying rent and now they moved out. This is all because of Manny and we gave him and his company many chances to correct the problem. Not only did Manny not correct the problem, Manny isn't taking our calls. So the roof guarantee from Urban NYC Builders is as useless as Manny himself. He caused the landlord significant losses because rent wasn't paid, the people vacated, we still have a bad roof and the apartment needs lots of work. He met with my dad at his house to give him an estimate. His pricing was very reasonable. He sent me an actual written proposal - which a lot of contractors don't bother to do anymore with the breakdown of all the work that would be done as well as the timeframe. He showed up when he said he would, he did the work that he said he would and it cost what he said it would. He never asked for money up front and he was very professional. I wish all contractors were like him, I really do. It gets very frustrating when you have a project to get done and you get the runaround. I highly recommend Elphin.
